Collapsible watercraft
A collapsible kayak may include a single-piece hull including a plurality of crease lines along which the hull is foldable. A removable floorboard lines a midship portion of the hull between a bow portion and a stern portion, the floorboard including a seat assembly and configured to be releasably retained by a pair of outboard walls permanently fixed at port and starboard sides of the cockpit. The stern portion of the hull is permanently folded in a V-shaped (AKA swallowtail) configuration to form a closed transom of the kayak. The bow, stern, and midship portions are configured as a tri-fold, such that the bow portion and the stern portion of the kayak are foldable toward each other to overlap the midship portion of the hull when collapsed.
Hinge assemblies for reconfigurable watercraft
A hinge assembly for a reconfigurable watercraft having a latch support member, a striker member, a pivot member, and a latch member. The pivot member is arranged such that the striker member may rotate about a pivot axis relative to the latch support member. The latch member is supported by the latch support member for movement along a latch axis between a retracted position and an extended position. When the hinge assembly is in the open configuration and the latch member is in the extended position, the striker member engages the latch member to inhibit movement of the hinge assembly from the open configuration to the closed configuration. When the latch member is in the retracted position, the latch member is disengaged from the striker member such that the hinge assembly may be moved between the open configuration and the closed configuration.

Inflatable kayak
An inflatable kayak is provided with a floor formed of a first drop-stitch inflatable chamber. A port side is formed of a second drop-stitch inflatable chamber and a starboard side formed of a third drop-stitch inflatable chamber. A flexible fabric hull panel covers an outboard bottom of the floor, and at least a portion of an outboard surface of the port and starboard side. A hull portion is flexible and may be attached to the flexible fabric hull at a forward portion to form a bow contour with a sloping ridge. The front hull portion does not extend below a bottom surface defined by the floor. A rigid skeg attached to the flexible fabric hull at a rear portion and configured to be removable.
Collapsible kayak
A kayak having a main body and at least one telescoping extendable insert. The extendable insert can expand out of and collapse into the main body of the kayak, allowing for the kayak to be more compact for storage and transport. The telescoping extendable inserts of the kayak latch into place when the kayak is fully extended. An automatic spring-loaded catch mechanism helps secure the telescoping extendable inserts in place before they are latched together by the user.
