A collapsible kayak may include a single-piece hull including a plurality of crease lines along which the hull is foldable. A removable floorboard lines a midship portion of the hull between a bow portion and a stern portion, the floorboard including a seat assembly and configured to be releasably retained by a pair of outboard walls permanently fixed at port and starboard sides of the cockpit. The stern portion of the hull is permanently folded in a V-shaped (AKA swallowtail) configuration to form a closed transom of the kayak. The bow, stern, and midship portions are configured as a tri-fold, such that the bow portion and the stern portion of the kayak are foldable toward each other to overlap the midship portion of the hull when collapsed.

A reconfigurable watercraft comprising a bow section, at least one intermediate section, a stern section, and first and second connecting systems. The first and second connecting systems are configured to allow the watercraft be configured in first and second configurations. In the first configuration, a position of the bow section to the at least one intermediate section is fixed and a position of the stern section relative to the at least one intermediate section. A cooler installable on a kayak includes: a hollow cooler body tapering from an end adjacent to a kayak seat to a narrower end adjacent an end of the kayak; a flange portion formed around an upper end of the cooler body and located above a deck of the kayak when the cooler is installed on the kayak, the flange portion shaped to fit flush against an upper surface of the deck of the kayak; and a lid hingedly attached to the flange portion and shaped to cover an opening formed within the flange portion when in a closed position.

The present disclosure features inflatable kayaks that have a non-planar hull bottom surface. The kayaks may include an inflatable, tubular body having a bow, a stern and a midsection, wherein opposed side tubes of the midsection define an open central seating area having a predetermined width when the tubular body is inflated; and a hull bottom fabric joined to a lower surface of the body outside of a periphery of the seating area, the hull bottom fabric having a width that is greater than the width of the central seating area such that the hull bottom fabric is not tensioned between the side tubes, and the hull bottom fabric being joined to the side tubes outboard of a vertical center line of the side tubes.
