Animal crate with swing or drop door assembly
A door assembly includes a frame having interconnected wires that define an opening for an animal to pass therethrough, and a door having interconnected wires and being coupled to the frame. A latch assembly has a handle structure and a pin. The handle structure is pivotable with respect to one of the door and the frame, and the pin is movable axially with respect to one of the door and the frame. A first wire of the plurality of wires of the frame forms a key hole assembly. The key hole assembly defines an aperture for receiving the pin when the door is in a latched position with respect to the frame. A tab assembly is formed by at least one wire of the door and is disposable behind at least one of the plurality of wires of the frame in the closed position.

A divider for elevated seating within a canopy enclosed seating area of a pet stroller is provided. The divider is removably located in the pet seating area. The divider includes a divider platform supported at least on a platform enclosure member of the pet stroller which still allows for the lowering and clamping of the lower canopy bar to the platform enclosure member.

A ventilation group for a livestock or industrial plant having a roof with an upper opening communicating with an external environment, at least one lateral opening being provided in a lateral wall of the plant and communicating with the environment. The group includes a collecting and conveying channel and elements fixing the channel to the roof, so that the channel is arranged below the upper opening. The channel is configured for collecting atmospheric precipitation which falls through the upper opening and for conveying it towards a ground surface. Via at least one air passage an inside of the plant communicates with the upper opening so as to generate an air flow entering the plant through the lateral opening and passing towards the environment through the passage and the upper opening.

A pet stroller with a removable divider for elevated seating within a canopy enclosed seating area is provided. The pet stroller has a frame assembly and a cloth platform enclosure connected to a platform enclosure member to define a base and a sidewall of a pet seating area. Upper and lower canopy bars are pivotably connected to the handle and are pivotable to extend or retract a canopy over the pet seating area. A cloth canopy assembly is connected to the handle and a canopy bar. The canopy is connectable to the platform enclosure member to form an enclosed pet seating area. The divider is removably located in the pet seating area. The divider includes a divider platform supported at least on the platform enclosure member while still allowing the lower canopy bar to be clamped to the platform enclosure member.
RAISED GARDEN BUTTERFLY CONSERVATORY
A reconfigurable butterfly conservatory includes a raised garden base that defines an inner garden area. The raised garden base includes holes for receiving complementary upright poles. The conservatory further includes a canopy structure that includes connectors for receiving the complementary upright poles, wherein the canopy structure includes an air vent and one or more first windows that can be opened and closed. The air vent includes a mesh layer that promotes chrysalis formation. The conservatory further includes a plurality of side walls that are configured for coupling to at least the canopy roof structure for suspending the plurality of side walls such that bottom edges of the side walls are positioned adjacent to the raised garden base to define a hollow interior space that includes the inner garden area. At least one side wall is formed at least substantially of a mesh material.
Animal House Climate Control System and Method for Operating an Air Inlet of the Animal House using Timed Inlet Control
An animal house climate control system uses a method for operating a baffle of an air inlet of an animal house with a motor using timed inlet control. The method includes performing a calibration sequence to calculate opening velocity and opening inertia values and closing velocity and closing inertia values. The method also includes moving the baffle from an initial position to a final position by calculating a calculated power on time for the motor using the opening inertia or closing inertia values. The method can also include calculating a real position error value by comparing the calculated on time for the motor and a measured on time for the motor and using the real position error value to calculate adjusted opening and closing velocity values.
DISPOSABLE ANIMAL CAGE FOR USE IN VENTILATED RACK
A disposable animal cage which can be used in a ventilated or static caging rack system includes a cage top and a cage base. Any corner or edge present in the interior of the cage base or the cage top that is accessible to an animal that can be contained in the cage is defined by surfaces having a conical section which is non-circular to prevent gnawing of the cage. The cage top can include a water housing mount pocket. The water housing mount pocket can have a conical shape to prevent an animal from gnawing the water housing mount pocket and a container received in the water housing mount pocket. A feed tray can be attached beneath a filter in a ceiling of the cage top to prevent an animal from gnawing the filter.

Multilayer, static housing systems
One aspect of the present disclosure can include a multilayer static housing system for preventing the ingress of microorganisms therein. The housing system can include a static outer housing unit and at least one static inner housing unit nested completely inside of the outer housing unit. Airflow through the housing system can be driven passively by the chimney effect.
