BEEHIVE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING A BEEHIVE
The invention relates to a beehive comprising: an interior construction (1) that has an inner cavity (3) designed to be occupied by a bee colony and to accommodate honeycomb built by the colony; a support device (2) in which the interior construction (1) is received; and an insulation device (4) which is received on the support device (2) and has a layered construction. The layered construction comprises: a vapour-control layer (5) which is formed by a vapour-diffusion-inhibiting material and is arranged on the support device (2) so as to surround the interior construction (1); and a insulating layer (6) which is formed by a heat-insulating material and is arranged on the support device (2) so as to surround the vapour-control layer (5). The invention also relates to a method for producing a beehive.

Drown Proof Bee Feeder
An apparatus and method for feeding bees is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a fluid tray member, a sheet, and a regulating valve. The fluid tray member is configured to hold a fluid for feeding the bees. The sheet is detachably attached on the fluid tray member via a magnetic strip. The regulating valve attached to the sheet is configured to maintain the level of the fluid. The regulating valve is attached to the sheet via a fastener. The sheet further comprises an inlet tube, a plurality of cavities, and a handle enable a user to position the apparatus to a desired location. The fluid is received via the inlet tube into the fluid tray member. The sheet provides a flat surface around the cavities to support each of the bees while feeding the fluid.

BEE-BENIGN ARTIFICIAL HONEYCOMB
A splittable honeycomb comprising: a first comb portion and a second comb portion comprising a first series of cell portions and a corresponding second series of cell portions respectively, said first and second cell portions defining a series of honeycomb cells therebetween, the first comb portion and the second comb portion being moveable relative to each other from a closed cell position to an open cell position, wherein mutually opposed edges of said cells are non-contiguous in the closed cell position to thereby avoid catching a limb of a bee.

NESTING BLOCK FOR INSECTS
A nesting block has a stack of panels. Adjacent panels in the stack of panels comprise a top panel and a bottom panel. Adjacent panels have a plurality of channels defined by the bottom surface of the top panel and the top surface of the bottom panel, each channel having an open end at the front edge of panels and a closed end toward the back edge of the panels. A hinge connection connects the back edges of the top panel and the bottom panel. A coupling releasably couples the top panel and the bottom panel. There is a sealing engagement between the bottom surface of the top panel and the top surface of the bottom panel and along the back edge and the opposed side edges when the top panel is coupled to the bottom panel.
