Floating physical therapy device
A floating physical therapy device includes a frame and a harness. The frame includes an inner frame and an outer frame on the right and left side. The inner frame defines a patient area. The harness is attached to the inner frame such that it secures a patient to the device in a substantially upright position during use. The frame extends forwards and backwards, as well as to the left and right, of the patient area in order to provide stability in the water during normal use. The frame defines a trainer area immediately forward of the patient area where a therapist can have access to the patient during therapy sessions.

BODY SURFING SUIT
Apparatus and methods for body surfing which provide the body surfer a means to stabilize his ride and control his direction/position on a wave are described herein. According to one aspect, a body surfing apparatus includes a body suit having a torso, arms, and legs; a plurality of fins located on the torso; a plurality of fins located on the arms; and one or more fins located laterally on the legs. The fins are preferably attached to the body suit via an adhesive or mechanical means and the fins and suit may include a buoyant layer. In one embodiment, the body surfing apparatus includes a body suit with multiple segmentations and/or fins with multiple sliced cuts.
Personal flotation device
A personal flotation device is disclosed. The personal flotation device comprises a wearable shell comprising an articulated section extending across a width of the wearable shell, a first buoyant member housed by the wearable shell, a second buoyant member housed by the wearable she and spaced from the first buoyant member, wherein the articulated section extends between the first and second buoyant members and defines a substantially planar vertical extent therebetween, and a fastening assembly configured to fasten the wearable shell to a user's torso at one of a plurality of positions along the substantially planar vertical extent of the articulated section and/or along a passageway inside the wearable shell and adjacent to the articulated section, wherein the fastening assembly includes a fastener movable between a first position defining a first circumferential length and a second position defining a second circumferential length. The personal flotation device is thus configured to mitigate or prevent it from rising up along a user's body when the personal flotation device is submerged in water and secured to the user.

Fuel cell-based life jacket
The present invention relates to a life jacket based on a fuel cell that can store hydrogen fuel in it. Particularly, the present invention provides a fuel cell based life jacket that can utilize electricity, heat and water generated during the operation of a fuel cell as a power source of a life extension tool and a personal location beacon. The fuel cell based life jacket of the present invention comprises a fuel cell unit for supplying electricity, a hydrogen fuel supply unit for storing and supplying the hydrogen fuel required for the fuel cell unit to generate electricity, a signal output unit for transmitting a signal using the electricity generated by the fuel cell unit, and a heat generating unit for recovering and transferring the heat generated in the fuel cell unit, wherein the hydrogen fuel supply unit generates hydrogen by using a hydrogen generation composition.
Illuminated lifesaving jacket
The illuminated lifesaving jacket is a personal floatation device compromising LED lighting, a cell phone pocket, a control unit, locator module, and a jacket battery pack. The LED lighting may increase the visibility of the jacket and may be activated by the control unit based upon input from a manual switch, a water-activated switch, or an application program running on a personal communication device such as a smart phone. The personal communication device may be held in the waterproof cell phone pocket and may wirelessly link to the control unit. The control unit may acquire location information from the locator module and may transmit messages that include location information to authorities in an effort to seek help. The jacket battery pack may provide electrical energy for the control unit, locator module, and personal communication device. A wristband may provide additional LED lighting to enhance visibility.
