Cage system comprising a climate control unit having a low flow vaporizer
The invention relates to a cage system (15) for housing experimental animals which are to experience an environment different from that of a surrounding space (19). The cage system (15) comprises a climate control unit having a vaporizer (1) for generation of water into vapour. The vaporizer (1) comprises a vaporization chamber (4), and water is fed to the vaporization chamber (4) via a liquid supply tube (3). A surface tension breaking device (8) having an open structure is provided at the end (9) of the liquid supply tube (3) so that the water passes therethrough when flowing from the liquid supply tube (3) and into the vaporization chamber (4). Hereby water can be supplied to the vaporization chamber (4) without any significant formation of droplets in the vaporization chamber (4). The vaporizer (1) is used to supply a controllable and uniform flow of vapour to the cages (16) so that a desired humidity can be maintained.
TRICKLE STRUCTURES
Trickle bodies for the air conditioning of, in particular, animal housings, that possess only partially latticed layer elements. Trickle bodies are formed of a plurality of sandwiched layer elements that, in known trickle bodies, are formed of corrugated and completely latticed plastics foil. The trickle bodies formed of such layer elements possess a relatively low stability and a limited evaporation capacity. The plastics-formed layer elements of the instant invention are produced by injection molding, allowing layer elements having corrugation heights of more than 12 mm to be formed. Such trickle bodies are more stable, enable a high evaporation capacity and are, moreover, also less permeable to light.
VENTILATION AND TEMPERATURE REGULATION STRUCTURE FOR ANIMAL HOUSE
A ventilation and temperature regulation structure for an animal house, comprising a house body and a temperature regulation device with a culture layer, the house body comprising a temperature equalization device and an exhaust gas extraction device, the temperature equalization device includes a temperature equalization passage passing through the culture layer, several ventilation holes are disposed on the side wall of the temperature equalization passage; and an outlet end of the temperature regulation device is connected with the temperature equalization passage. Such technical solution is to provide a temperature regulation structure for an animal house having good ventilation, waste reduction and good effect of temperature regulation.
DEVICE FOR AIR-CONDITIONING STALLS
In devices for air-conditioning stalls having evaporation members which can be supplied with fluid by means of spray pipes which are arranged thereabove, the deflectors are provided above the spray pipes, which deflectors have to be removed for cleaning purposes and temporarily stored elsewhere, which is complex and can lead to damage to the deflectors. The disclosed device for air-conditioning stalls has a provision for deflectors to have hinge connections to retention members. The deflectors can thereby be pivoted upwards in order to clean spray pipes without the deflectors having to be completely removed from the retention members.
EVAPORATIVE COOLING SYSTEM FOR AN ANIMAL BARN
A structure for sheltering and cooling livestock may include a concrete floored barn having an improved evaporative cooling system. The cooling system may include a misting stack having air inlets, a mixing chamber, and three cooling zones wherein the cooling zones correspond to three different temperature ranges. Each of the cooling zones may include a plurality of nozzles which produce a mist. As air passes through the mixing chamber, the mist may evaporate and cool the air. The cooling system may further include a plurality of large exhaust fans located at an end of the barn distal from the misting stack. The fans may draw the cool air through the barn, over and around the livestock, and out of the barn.
System for removing ammonia, dust and pathogens from air within an animal rearing/sheltering facility
An air purification and recirculation system positioned within an animal rearing/sheltering facility. The system draws untreated air into an elongated air treatment apparatus having a dust scrubbing section, an ammonia scrubbing section, and acid scrubbing section, configured so that the treatment sections are positioned in series. At the end of the air treatment process, the treated air is exhausted back into the animal rearing facility so that the air is circulated within the facility. Acid and water used during the air treatment process are continuously recycled and directed back through the scrubbers in the air treatment apparatus.
DAIRY COWSHED MONITORING SYSTEM AND METHOD THEREOF
A dairy cowshed monitoring system includes a cooling system having a plurality of operating modes, at least one image sensor, at least one temperature/humidity sensor, and a control circuit. The image sensor is for collecting image data in a dairy cowshed and obtaining a cow drinking water frequency in the dairy cowshed. The temperature/humidity sensor is for collecting a temperature and a humidity in the dairy cowshed and calculating a temperature/humidity index according to the temperature and the humidity. The control circuit is coupled to the cooling system, the image sensor and the temperature/humidity sensor and for receiving the image data, the cow drinking water frequency and the temperature/humidity index and determining whether to activate and control the cooling system in one of the operating modes to cool the dairy cowshed according to the cow drinking water frequency and the temperature/humidity index.
Feedbunk soaking system
A system may provide for delivering a sequence of one or more soaking sprays at a station where an animal is present. The station may include a pressurized pipe supplying a liquid for the soaking spray, a valve and nozzle coupled to the pipe, and a control circuit coupled to the valve. The control circuit may be operable to determine the sequence of the soaking spray using a signal from an animal sensor that is configured to detect the presence of the animal at the station. The system may include an environmental sensor providing at least one signal to the control circuit. The signal from the environmental sensor may be used by the control circuit to determine the sequence for the soaking spray.
PREMIXED VENTILATED HENHOUSE
A henhouse includes a gable, a sidewall, and a roof. An inner chamber parallel to the sidewall is provided in the middle of the henhouse. The inner chamber includes an inner wall parallel to the sidewall and an inner roof. A partition is provided between the sidewall and the inner wall. An air inlet plate is provided between the two inner walls located below the inner roof. A pressure chamber is formed between the inner roof and the air inlet plate. A premixing chamber is formed between the inner roof and the roof. A plurality of fans and air inlet windows are uniformly provided on the inner roof.
