The disclosure relates to integration of water sports apparel with leashes and other water sports accessories. For example, a wetsuit can be adapted for integration with a leash to reduce entanglement of the leash with a user's feet and eliminate the need to adjust the orientation of the leash on the user during a water sports session.

The present disclosure relates to a wetsuit that provides support for the lumbosacral region of the wearer. The wetsuit has at least one layer of foam rubber or other wetsuit material with a lumbar portion disposed in the lumbosacral region of the wearer. In certain embodiments, the wetsuit has at least one tensioning mechanism that allows the wearer to selectively change a level of support provided by the lumbar portion to the lumbosacral region of the wearer.

A smart clothing and backpack system enables a user to perform many actions. The smart clothing includes circuitry and/or is made of a conductive material enclosed in an insulation material.

The invention relates to a suit for aquatic activities, having a central part intended to cover the torso of the wearer as a close fit, the central part being formed between a ventral panel and a dorsal panel which are connected to one another laterally creating a top opening. The suit also includes two lateral openings and two lower openings with the ventral panel having a main slit extending between the upper opening and a lower end, the main slit to being equipped with a reversible opening device to allow the suit to be put on and taken off by transversely opening the ventral panel. The suit comprising an additional slit which extends in the dorsal panel between two ends, respectively an upper end and a lower end, the additional slit being equipped with a reversible opening device so as to allow the dorsal panel to be released transversely to make the suit easier to take off.

A wetsuit for aquatic activities may include a wetsuit material having a first surface and an opposite second surface. The wetsuit has a portion comprising one or more paddling assist members that may be configured to lay flat while inserting the portion into water and extend outward from the surface of the wetsuit when the portion is drawn backward during a paddling stroke movement to provide greater resistance to the movement, increasing thrust provided by the movement.

An apparatus for washing an article includes a container defining an internal chamber configured to receive the article, an inflow connector connectable to a source of pressurized fluid, a filter member disposed within the internal chamber between a base of the container and the inflow connector, and a lid sealingly engagable with an open upper end of the container and defining at least one opening. Pressurized fluid supplied to the internal chamber is urged upwardly through the internal chamber, through and around an article disposed therein, and out the at least one opening of the lid. A plurality of fabric pieces are pressed against each other and joined without stitching to form a three-dimensional clothing base member. An adhesive is applied to the surface of the clothing base member and a stretchable covering member formed of highly stretchable and elastic sheet-shaped fabric is stretched over the adhesive to cover the surface of the clothing base member to match the shape of the clothing base member. The clothing base member and the covering member are compressed under heating and adhered to each other.
