A semi-closed circuit gas recycling scuba diving breathing apparatus having a breathing loop. The breathing loop has a breathing bag to be supplied by at least one gas tank and a recycling chamber. The gas tank is connected to an inlet of the breathing bag by a first duct and a second duct having respectively a demand regulator and a fixed nozzle configured to deliver respectively a first gas input and a second gas input to the breathing bag. Advantageously, the apparatus has a third duct having a gas flow regulator configured to deliver at a variable mass flow, a third gas input to the breathing bag, and a diving condition sensor, configured to measure a physiological parameter of the diver or the depth. The apparatus is advantageously configured to make the variable mass flow vary according to data of the sensor to optimise the consumption of gas.

SNORKEL MOUTHPIECE ASSEMBLY
20210031889 · 2021-02-04 ·

A snorkel mouthpiece assembly, including a main body, a mouthpiece, a connecting component and an accessory, is provided. The mouthpiece is connected to the main body. The connecting component includes a connecting portion and a fixing portion opposite to the connecting portion. The connecting portion is detachably connected to the main body, and the accessory is connected to the fixing portion. In this way, the snorkel mouthpiece assembly could be equipped with a variety of accessories during water or diving activities.

Valve system for a breathing aid, mouthpiece system for a breathing aid, snorkling tube for a breathing aid, and breathing aid for swimmers

The invention relates to a valve system (10) for a breathing aid for swimmers, in particular for an inhalation valve, comprising a valve housing (1) and a valve diaphragm (2) in the valve housing (1); in a contact zone (3) preferably located in a central area of the valve diaphragm (2), the valve diaphragm (2) is disposed on a first end (4) of a fastening element (5); furthermore, from the contact zone (3), the valve diaphragm (2) runs at least partially at an angle in the direction of a second end (6) of the fastening element (5).

MOUTHPIECE CONFIGURED FOR ENGAGING A SNORKEL OR SCUBA DIVING REGULATOR AND DELIVERING A FLUID OR GEL INTO THE MOUTH OF THE USER

This invention relates to a mouthpiece configured for engaging a snorkel or a first and/or second SCUBA diving regulator having at least one internal receiving chamber formed in at least one of the opposing bite wings and configured to receive and retain a fluid or gel therein, whereby an effective amount of the fluid or gel may be selectively introduced through at least one selectively sealable fluid delivery opening formed in one or more of the bite wings and/or formed in a side wall of the internal receiving chamber, whereas upon application of sufficient pressure or force by the teeth of the user, an effective amount of the fluid or gel flows into the user's mouth to overcome or substantially ameliorate the effects associated with salt mouth. The fluid or gel introduced into the internal receiving chamber may be selected from the group consisting of fresh water, diluted mouthwash, or a flavored fluid or gel comprising sweetened or unsweetened flavors selected from the group consisting of grape, strawberry, berry, black cherry, raspberry, coconut, banana, peach, chocolate, caramel, vanilla, mint, fruit punch, mango, bubble gum or the like.

Immersion survival suit
10703450 · 2020-07-07 ·

A survival helmet device for use in combination with a survival suit includes a helmet, inhale and exhale control valves, and at least one inflatable air cavity pocket secured to the survival suit for selectively controlling the air supply and buoyancy of the survival helmet device and the survival suit.

Scuba regulator system mount system
10661866 · 2020-05-26 ·

A mounting system allows one or more accessories to be removably attached to a SCUBA demand regulator system. A clamp encircles a portion of an air hose subsystem, the clamp having a threaded screw extending therefrom. An accessory is threadably attached to this screw. An extender arm can be sandwiched between this attached accessory and the clamp such that the extender arm has a second threaded screw that threadably receives a second accessory thereonto. One accessory may be a buckle mount that has a mounting surface on one side and a threaded receiver that threadably attaches to one of the screws and is rotated thereonto via a lock down wheel rotatably disposed within the buckle mount. A buoyancy assist subsystem creates either neutral or positive buoyancy to the invention when accessories are mounted.

Rebreather system
20200094929 · 2020-03-26 ·

A semi-closed rebreather that uses a normal open type of solenoid valve to control the flow of replenishment gas supplied to the rebreather circuit by at least one replenishment gas cylinder. In the absence of energy, the rebreather system takes the open condition, thereby allowing a replenishment gas flow with a maximum flow rate predetermined during the initial design or adjustment step.

Hydrodynamic Sport Snorkel
20200039618 · 2020-02-06 ·

An improved hydrodynamic sports snorkel for use in swim training, exercise and other recreational activities, which facilitates efficient swimming by eliminating the need for a swimmer to turn their head to the side for breathing. The sport snorkel device provides a novel design that significantly reduces drag and resistance, including by directing breathing tubes down the sides of the chin and under the jaw line toward the neck, around the neck and rejoining and going to the surface at the back of the neck behind the swimmer's head. This novel design with tubes running under the jawline and behind the head significantly reduces the portion of snorkel tubing directly in the water flow stream and thus reduces drag and resistance. The sport snorkel device also allows the swimmer to hold the snorkel solely by the mouthpiece without the need to fixedly attach the device to the swimmer's head or goggles.

An underwater mask includes a frame, a transparent portion supported by the frame, a seal portion mounted on the frame and adapted to be positioned on a user's face, and a ventilation tube. The seal portion has a partition wall resting on the user's nose and forming upper and lower chambers, which communicate through a passage in the partition wall and a one-way valve to enable air to flow only from the upper to the lower chamber. The ventilation tube has separate channels providing communication between the upper and respectively the lower chamber and the outer environment, and a hub between tube and mask, fastened to the mask and connected to the tube by a joint, so that in a coupling position the hub and the tube are fastened, and in a releasing position the hub and the tube remain connected but the tube is free to swing.
