Cable drive unit
This invention relates to a cable drive unit (1) for use with a free stall cleaning system (101). The cable drive unit (1) includes a base frame (3), a support frame (5) being displaceable with respect to the base frame (3) via a corresponding displacement assembly (7), and a drum (9) pivotably mountable about the support frame (5) and displaceable therewith for receiving a cable (11) to be wound about said drum (9). Also described is a kit for assembling a cable drive unit (1) and a free stall cleaning system (101). The invention further includes a method of winding a cable (11) of a free stall cleaning system (101) about a drum (9) via the present cable drive unit (1).
MULTI-STOREY ANIMAL HOUSE
A multi-storey animal house includes a multi-storey animal house body with multiple breeding storeys. The breeding storeys include a first breeding storey, a second breeding storey, a third breeding storey, a fourth breeding storey, a first cultivating storey, and a second cultivating storey which are sequentially arranged from top to bottom.
Chain wheel
A chain wheel includes a body and protrusions extending outward along the periphery of the body for receiving links of a chain. The protrusions are connected releasably to the body and are spring-mounted independently of each other in a peripheral direction relative to the body.
Mobile robot, in particular an education robot, for poultry farm and rearing facility implementing one or more robots
A mobile education robot for a poultry farm having at least one laying area. The robot is configured to move the robot on the ground, prompt movement of at least two different types in order to push the birds present on the ground towards the at least one laying area, and to control the movement prompting. The robot includes mechanical elements for levelling and aerating the ground.
Depth Control Device for a Scraper Blade for Use in Chicken Houses
A scraper blade is provided with depth control disks that are formed with a narrow peripheral circumference that cuts through the accumulated chicken litter on the floor of the poultry house to engage the surface of the floor and establish a uniform residual layer of chicken litter over the floor. The depth control disks are mounted for swivel movement to accommodate changes in direction of travel of the scraper blade, and are vertically adjustable to provide a height adjustment to select the thickness of the residual layer of chicken litter left on the floor of the poultry house by the scraper blade. The scraper blade is pivotal about a central pivot to enable displacement of the chicken litter to a selected side of the scraper blade. The pivotal movement is actuated by a hydraulic cylinder.
SYSTEM, VEHICLE AND METHOD FOR REMOVING MANURE FROM A STALL FLOOR
A system for removing manure from a floor in an animal shed includes an autonomous manure removal vehicle with a manure storage container, which is provided with an interior, and a manure discharge opening for discharging manure from the interior of the manure storage container. A manure introduction device is configured for introducing manure from the floor and moving the introduced manure to the interior of the manure storage container. A dump is provided with a dump opening in the floor for dumping manure from the manure discharge opening of the manure storage container through the dump opening into a manure reservoir which extends under the floor. A flushing device is provided for flushing the interior of the manure storage container with flushing liquid, such as water.
Device for translational driving of a scraping member
A device for translating a scraper of droppings covering a corridor of a livestock building. The device includes a chain secured to the scraper, a first sprocket secured to a first end of the chain and a second sprocket secured to a second end of the chain. The first sprocket is rotated by a first motor and the second sprocket is rotated by a second motor in the opposite direction of the first sprocket. A controller controls power supply to the motors and takes states including: a driving state of the scraper in a first direction, wherein the first motor is supplied with power and the power supply of the second motor is cut off; and a driving state of the scraper in a direction opposite to the first direction, wherein the second motor is supplied with power and the power supply of the first motor is cut off.
Manure-removal vehicle for removing manure from an animal-shed floor
A wheeled manure-removal vehicle for removing manure from an animal-shed floor includes a tank for storing manure, a manure collector, a liquid reservoir placed in the tank and having an opening for the supply of liquid to the reservoir and the discharge of liquid from the reservoir, and a flexible reservoir wall, to make it possible to vary the volume of the reservoir, depending on the fill level, and a dispenser operatively connected to the reservoir for dispensing liquid from the reservoir onto the animal-shed floor. The opening of the reservoir is situated in a top part of the reservoir. The reservoir furthermore includes a spacer which extends on the inside of the reservoir from the opening down to the lower part of the reservoir to ensure a liquid passage between the opening and a bottom part of the reservoir.
Manure removal vehicle for removing manure from an animal shed floor
A wheeled manure-removal vehicle for removing manure from an animal-shed floor includes a scraper assembly for scraping the manure together into a manure-storage space by scraping across the animal-shed floor. The scraper assembly includes a flexible, strip-shaped scraping element which is partly arranged around the manure-storage space and a rolling body. The rolling body extends on a side of the scraping element which faces away from the manure-storage space in order to be in contact with the scraping element at least while scraping the manure together, and has, on the side facing the scraping element, a rolling surface which is convexly rounded towards the scraping element. The use of the rolling body for contact with the scraping element has an advantageous effect on the life of the scraping element on the vehicle.
SEPARATION DEVICE FOE EMISSION REDUCTION IN STABLES AND ANIMAL STABLE
A separating device for forming a standing area for livestock, in particular pigs, and for reducing emissions in pens, in particular in pig pens, comprises a base frame, a drainage element with a plurality of drainage channels which each comprise an outflow end, and shoulders, between which the plurality of drainage channels extends orthogonally to a drainage direction, a liquid-permeable endless belt with an upper run and a lower run, wherein the drainage element is arranged on the base frame such that a drainage direction of the plurality of drainage channels is directed in the direction of the outflow end.
