Systems and methods for continuous livestock supply
The disclosed technology includes systems and methods for continuously supplying livestock to a processing plant. The disclosed technology can include an enclosure configured to house livestock. The enclosure can include an enclosure entrance, an enclosure exit, and moveable walls to partition the enclosure into separate pens and automatically direct the livestock from the enclosure entrance toward the enclosure exit. A passageway can be connected to the enclosure exit and include moveable walls to automatically direct the livestock from the enclosure exit toward a processing plant. The moveable walls can be configured to move at a predetermined speed such that the plurality of livestock enter the enclosure as offspring, are reared in the enclosure, and are directed through the enclosure exit into the passageway approximately when the plurality of livestock have reached slaughter weight.
Livestock Confinement Gating System and Method
A gating system comprising a gate, footplate, formed latch assemblies, formed tab end assemblies, c-bracket, and parallel structural members which provides infinite mounting points to connect gates to slotted floor slates with a footplate. The gating system simplifies the design, manufacture, installation, and operation of animal management.

Rearing cage unit and rearing apparatus
A rearing cage unit includes an animal residential area defined by a floor, a ceiling, and a wall; an excrement collection area adjacent to the animal residential area; and an excretion sheet in the excrement collection area to receive excrement of the animal. At least one of the floor and the wall is made of a material including resin, and has an excretion hole to allow the excrement in the animal residential area to be discharged to the excrement collection area, and the excretion hole has a size that prevents four feet of the animal from entering the excretion hole. The excretion sheet faces the excretion hole.
SLAT UNIT FOR LIVESTOCK BARN
The present disclosure provides a slat unit for a livestock barn that significantly reduces efforts in a laying operation and that is hygienic and highly durable. A slat unit 10 for a livestock barn made of stainless steel that is a preferable floor material at an excretion area in a livestock barn includes at least a plurality of elongated slat panels 12, one or more horizontal members 14 that connect the plurality of slat panels 12 arranged side by side in a crosswise direction and in parallel in a longitudinal direction of each slat panel 12. Both longitudinal sides of each of the slat panels 12 are mountain-folded to form side wall portions 16. An angle between a planar portion 15 of each of the slat panels 12 and the respective side wall portions 16 is smaller than 90°.
MODULAR FLOORING SYSTEM FOR AGRICULTURAL ANIMAL AND POULTRY HOUSES
An agricultural animal house modular flooring system is provided, the flooring being particularly suited to poultry housing due to the structure of the flooring which facilitates cleaning, minimizes build-up of manure, bacteria and pathogens, and reduces risk of injury to the poultry. A plurality of interconnecting flooring panels and a plurality of panel support beams are provided. The panels each have pluralities of side flanges and recesses and end bosses and apertures for coupling the panel to a horizontally adjacent panel. The support beams provide interlocking engagement with the panels, prevent lateral disengagement of the panels, and distribute load from the panels and flanges to lower regions of the support beams to provide a support base of optimal strength and durability. The modular design of the flooring system provides for easy installation, assembly and disassembly of the flooring system.
Grate apparatus and method for covering and opening a channel in a vehicle wash
A grate apparatus for covering a pit defined in a floor of a vehicle wash facility includes a plurality of rigid rung pieces having a first end, a second end, an upper surface and a lower surface. The rigid rung pieces are secured in generally parallel and spaced apart fashion by a plurality of flexible strap members. The flexible strap members are secured to each of the rung pieces by a plurality of fasteners. The grate apparatus is moveable between an unwound position where the first end of each of the plurality of rigid rung pieces rests on one of a pair of spaced apart rails located adjacent the pit and the second end of each of the plurality of rung pieces rests on the other of the pair of spaced apart rails and a wound position wherein the plurality of rung pieces and the plurality of flexible straps are oriented in generally coiled position around a centerline.
CATTLE BARN WITH AIRWASHER
A livestock shed for keeping livestock animals includes a shed building for keeping the livestock animals, having a floor which is at least partially permeable to excretory products from the livestock animals, a liquid-tight manure cellar for collecting excretory products which is situated at least partly under the floor, and an air scrubber connected to the manure cellar and configured to at least partly clean polluted manure cellar air. The air scrubber is provided directly above the manure cellar.
