An absorbent floor pad, comprising a fluid impermeable layer; an absorbent layer; wherein the absorbent layer an upper layer relative to the fluid impermeable layer and adhered to the fluid impermeable layer; wherein the absorbent layer includes at least one folded edge region along an edge border region of the absorbent floor pad; wherein at least a portion of the at least one folded edge region is folded back over a base region of the absorbent layer at an acute fold angle to provide an overlap region of the absorbent layer which forms at least one edge pocket with the base region to capture liquid waste.

A method of disposing of an absorbent pad may include pivoting a flexible bag from a storage position to a use position such that at least a portion of the flexible bag extends from the absorbent pad, folding a left and right portion of the flexible bag towards a center portion of the flexible bag to form a stacked portion, rolling the stacked portion towards the flexible bag to form a roll, and disposing the roll within a cavity defined by one of an outer surface or an inner surface of the flexible bag.

A bed for at least one animal is provided. The bed includes a strip of belting having a front end, a back end, and opposing sides, an animal bed having a first fluid chamber and a second fluid chamber. The first fluid chamber is provided within the strip of belting and includes a first width extending between a first side and a second side of the first fluid chamber. A floor assembly for livestock handling equipment features a pair frame members lying in a longitudinal direction and spaced apart from one another in a lateral direction transverse to said longitudinal direction, and at least one support tray connected to the frame members and spanning therebetween in the lateral direction. At least one mat is supported atop the support tray(s). The mat is made of rubber or other resilient material for improved footing and comfort of the livestock. The topside of each mat is flush with a topside of the frame members to provide an even floor surface across the full area floor area. The mat(s) are removable for cleaning, and open gaps around the support tray(s) are provided for drainage. Non-welded attachment enables convenient removal and replacement of the support trays in the event of rust or other damage.

An absorbent pad with drawstring system; the absorbent pad with drawstring system includes an absorbent pad having a drawstring system and a planar body with multiple layers configured to absorb liquid-waste and collect solid-waste. The absorbent pad with drawstring system is provided for use in both professional environments and private households for collecting solid-waste and liquid-waste for sanitary containment and disposal of the solid-waste and the liquid-waste.

The present disclosure provides methods and apparatus to support transport of a pet in a self-contained expandable carrier. In some examples, the carrier may be worn by a user to support the pet in a proximate location. A pet carrier which may be worn may provide comfort to pet owners while they travel.

Disclosed is a mattress for thermal comfort of animals in a livestock enclosure, wherein the comfort mattress includes at least one resilient layer including: at least one sealed chamber, intended to contain a first heat-transfer fluid, and at least one watertight duct, intended to contain a second heat-transfer fluid, at least one section of which passes through the at least one sealed chamber between the upper and lower surfaces thereof so that the at least one section is intended to soak/to bathe in the first heat-transfer fluid. The at least one watertight duct includes at least two through-orifices, to generate a circulation of the second heat-transfer fluid within the at least one watertight duct, between the through-orifices thereof.

A rearing cage unit includes an animal residential area defined by a floor, a ceiling, and a wall; an excrement collection area adjacent to the animal residential area; and an excretion sheet in the excrement collection area to receive excrement of the animal. At least one of the floor and the wall is made of a material including resin, and has an excretion hole to allow the excrement in the animal residential area to be discharged to the excrement collection area, and the excretion hole has a size that prevents four feet of the animal from entering the excretion hole. The excretion sheet faces the excretion hole.

A pet pee pad pen assembly includes a pen which comprises a plurality of walls being hingedly coupled together. In this way the pen forms a rectangular shape to shelter an animal. A respective one of the walls has a plurality of openings each extending therethrough to facilitate the animal to enter or exit the pen. A base is provided that can be positioned on a support surface and the pen is positioned on the base. A pad is positionable on the base and the pad is comprised of a fluid absorbent material to absorb the pet urine. An insert is positionable on the pad thereby inhibiting the pad from being displaced on the base.
