METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR FORMING AND INSTALLING INSULATION BLANKETS IN A VEHICLE COMPARTMENT
Methods and apparatus for forming and installing insulation blankets in a vehicle compartment are disclosed. An example apparatus includes an insulation blanket that includes an outer layer, an insulation layer disposed in the outer layer, and a first fastener disposed in the insulation layer. The outer layer and the insulation layer are to form to a first channel. The first fastener is to receive, via the first channel, a first portion of a vehicle compartment frame to sealingly couple the insulation layer and the outer layer of the insulation blanket to the vehicle compartment frame.
Cable retainer apparatus and method for retaining a cable
Cable retainer apparatuses for retaining a cable, and aircraft and methods including such apparatuses are provided. In one example, a cable retainer for retaining a cable proximate a surface of an aircraft includes a cable retainer. The cable retainer is configured to retain the cable. A fairing is disposed about the cable retainer and is configured to couple to the aircraft to support the cable retainer adjacent to the surface of the aircraft.
LOW-PROFILE SENSOR CIRCUIT MOUNTING FIXTURE
A mounting fixture for mounting a sensor circuit to a support rail is disclosed. In various embodiments, the mounting fixture includes a bracket having a base portion and a first flange member extending from the base portion; a clamp fixture connected to the first flange member, the clamp fixture including a plate member; a first pin extending through the first flange member and the plate member; and a first fastener threaded on to the first pin and configured to secure the plate member to the first flange member.
INSULATION COMPONENT
An insulation component to be attached to a fuselage structure of an aircraft. The insulation component extends in a planar manner, and at least one peripheral recess, running transversely to the at least one longitudinal recess, is formed in a first surface of the insulation component configured to receive a respective associated peripheral support of the fuselage structure.
UNDERFLOOR WIRE ROUTING SYSTEM FOR PASSENGER CABIN
An apparatus for securing a raceway assembly within an aircraft, which includes a clip assembly associated with the raceway assembly, which secures the raceway assembly to a seat rail. The apparatus further includes a floor panel positioned in overlying relationship to the raceway assembly and the clip assembly.
ATTACHMENT HOUSING FOR FASTENING TO AN AIRCRAFT
An attachment housing is for fastening to an exterior side of an aircraft. The attachment housing has a functional compartment. The functional compartment is divided in two, and has a ventilation compartment and a protective compartment. A surrounding wall is configured to separate the ventilation compartment from an environment. The surrounding wall has at least one ventilation opening for air exchange between the ventilation compartment and the environment. A dividing wall is arranged between the ventilation compartment and the protective compartment. The dividing wall has at least one passage opening for air exchange between the ventilation compartment and the protective compartment. The passage opening is configured to counter act a penetration of water, moisture, or particles into the protective compartment.
Aircraft fuselage portion comprising movable or detachable under floor struts
An aircraft fuselage portion extending in a general longitudinal direction and comprising a fuselage structure comprising annular frames and a flat floor. The fuselage portion also comprises struts perpendicular to the floor in a nominal position and extending from the floor to a frame. Each strut comprises, in the vicinity of at least one of the ends thereof, a detachable link so that the strut can be moved relative to the fuselage structure or separated from the fuselage structure to temporarily grant access to a triangle area located between the frames, the floor and the struts in the nominal position. This allows access to be granted to the area in which the ducts must be installed in the aircraft, in particular, in the form of sets of ducts assembled prior to their installation in the fuselage.
Transport element support system
A transport element support system comprising a first portion, a second portion, and a channel formed by the first portion and the second portion. The first portion has a hinge pin and the second portion has a receiving element. The receiving element is configured to engage with the hinge pin to couple the first portion to the second portion. The channel is configured to receive a transport element when the first portion and the second portion are coupled to each other. The transport element support system electrically isolates the transport element from a support structure in an aircraft.
MOLDED AIRCRAFT WIRING AND/OR TUBING SUPPORT BRACKETS
One-piece molded thermoplastic L-shaped and Z-shaped support brackets are described for supporting wiring and/or tubing. The support brackets will include a lower support flange, a backing flange, and a junction region having a concave inner surface and a convex outer surface which integrally joins the lower support flange and the backing flange to one another at a substantially right angle. The support brackets may be provided with a unitarily molded nut plate boss and a metal threaded nut cylinder which is embedded within and overmolded with the nut plate boss. Alternatively, a wire, cable or tubing mount unitarily formed as a one-piece molded unit with one of the support flanges so as to dependently extend therefrom.
