AIRCRAFT BENCH SEAT ASSEMBLY
A bench seat assembly that includes a first seat that includes a seat portion and a back, a second seat that includes a seat portion and a back, and a center portion positioned between the first and second seats. The first seat is bifurcated by a first vertical plane, the second seat is bifurcated by a second vertical plane, and the center portion is bifurcated by a center vertical plane. The first seat is angled outwardly such that the first plane defines a first acute angle with the center plane and the second seat is angled outwardly such that the second plane defines a second acute angle with the center plane. The first acute angle and the second acute angle are approximately the same.
Headrest cover holder system
A cover for a vehicle seat headrest includes one opening to accommodate a protuberance at the front of the headrest, such as a protuberant cushion or pillow, and another opening at the rear to permit access to a passenger behind the vehicle seat to access or view items attached to, or stored within, the rear of the headrest.
IMPLEMENTATIONS OF DEPLOYABLE SEATBACK POCKETS
A passenger seat and a row of passenger seats of a type wherein each seat includes a seatback for locating amenities for use by an aft-seated passenger. The seatback includes a video monitor positioned in an upper portion of the seatback, a first seatback pocket positioned below the video monitor, and a second seatback pocket positioned below the first seatback pocket. Each of the first and second seatback pockets includes a member configured to move apart from the seatback to facilitate access to a bottom of the respective seatback pocket. In embodiments, the first and second seatback pockets are positioned in respective first and second recesses formed in the seatback.
Vehicle business class seat and stowage system
An aircraft that includes a fuselage having a floor, first and second outboard walls and an aisle, and a first seat and storage system that is positioned between the first outboard wall and the aisle. The first seat and storage system includes a seat that includes a seat back and a seat portion, and a storage assembly that includes a storage portion and an extension portion. The storage portion defines a storage interior and a storage opening and includes a cover that is movable between an open position and a closed position. The storage opening faces the aisle. The extension portion extends from the storage portion toward the first outboard wall. The storage assembly defines a top surface to which the seat is secured. The storage assembly defines an under seat cavity below a bottom surface of the extension portion.
SPRINGLESS DRESS COVER AND LOWER CLOSEOUT SYSTEM FOR PASSENGER SEAT
A springless lower closeout system for a passenger seat includes left-side and right-side seat spreaders defining a lower aft portion of the passenger seat between them. Each seat spreader includes a restrictive channel extending along the left and right sides of the seat spreader, oriented toward the lower aft portion of the passenger seat. A dress cover extends in a taut state between the left-side and right-side seat spreaders. The dress cover includes cord elements on its left and right edges, the cord elements insertable into the left-side restrictive channels to directly connect the dress cover to the seat spreaders, closing out the lower aft portion of the passenger seat. A zipper or fastener connecting the dress cover and either edge may be partially unfastened to adjust the tension of the dress cover and facilitate attachment or removal of the cord elements to or from the restrictive channels.
Lighted cup holder for seating arrangements
A method and apparatus include attaching a lighted cup holder to a seating arrangement. The lighted cup holder includes a cup holder body and a light-producing light source, with the cup holder body being attached to the seating arrangement and having a cup receptacle therein, the light-producing source being disposed within the cup receptacle for illuminating the receptacle. A light-sensitive element operatively connected to the light source selectively controls production of light by the light source in such a manner that illumination of the cup holder is provided only under conditions where visibility is reduced to the point that it becomes difficult to locate the cup holder. The light-sensitive element is mounted on a master lighted cup holder and controls illumination of the master lighted cup holder and one or more slave lighted cup holders operatively connected to the master lighted cup holder.
Integrated aircraft passenger entertainment device, aircraft passenger seat and aircraft
An aircraft passenger entertainment device for an aircraft passenger seat is disclosed having a cover member attached to the seat so as to serve as a functional accessory for providing additional functions other than a seating function to the seat; a display screen movably attached to at least one surface of the cover member; and a controller embedded on a surface or inside of the cover member and in communication with the display screen. The cover member is attachable and detachable to a rear facing surface of a backrest of the seat above a passenger knee level.
Seatback for a vehicle seat
Examples of the disclosure provide a seatback for a vehicle seat, in particular an aircraft seat, comprising a seatback structure that includes a rear side having a partially circumferential outer edge and a recess which is partially surrounded by the outer edge. The recess is configured to retain a panel at least partially arranged within the recess and at least partially covered by the outer edge. The panel is detachable retained to and/or in the recess and is configured as an interchangeable and customized part.
Additive manufactured aircraft seat components
A passenger includes at least one seat component including a first material and at least one additive manufactured component including a second material, the at least one additive manufactured component including a plurality of zones. The at least one additive manufactured component is attached to the at least one seat component. The at least one additive manufactured component includes a lattice structure. Each of the plurality of zones have different physical properties.
Aircraft seat unit
The aircraft seat unit includes a first seat 13, a second seat 14, an intermediate portion 15 disposed between the first seat 13 and the second seat 14, and a front wall 11 adjacent to the intermediate portion 15. An axis line X1 of the first seat 13 and an axis line X2 of the second seat 14 are respectively disposed at angles that are oriented in mutually opposite directions with respect to a traveling direction. The intermediate portion 15 is disposed in a space between the first set and the second seat and is capable of supporting a load of a bassinet 30 placed thereon. The front wall 11 includes engagement holes 11e that detachably engage with engagement portions 32 of the bassinet 30.
