VENTILATED ADJUSTABLE HEADREST
A ventilated adjustable headrest may include an adjustable metal insert, a nozzle fixedly attached to the adjustable metal insert. The nozzle may be in fluid communication with a perforated covering and one or more cushion elements. The nozzle may be telescopically coupled to one or more ventilation ducts. The one or more ventilation ducts may be configured to receive forced air from a ventilation system at an air inlet, and may be configured to deliver the forced air to the nozzle.
Passenger seating headrest with friction assembly
The present disclosure relates to headrest assemblies for passenger vehicles. More specifically, the present disclosure describes a headrest assembly having a rail assembly with integrally formed friction assemblies.
Continuously adjusting headrest device
A headrest adjustment mechanism is provided and includes a housing receptive of a rod and gripping jaws disposable in the housing to grip the rod such that the rod is securable and primarily adjustable in a height-wise dimension defined along a longitudinal axis of the rod and such that the rod is movable and pivotable in lateral dimensions defined transversely relative to the longitudinal axis of the rod.
Aircraft seat
A vehicle seat includes a seat with a seat pan and a backrest with a backrest bottom edge articulately being disposed adjacent to a seat pan rear edge. The seat pan and the backrest are positionable with respect to one another such that the seat is configurable into at least one of a taxi, takeoff and landing position, a napping position, and a sleeping position. A swivel is disposed beneath the seat. Base tracking also is disposed beneath the seat, permitting the seat to move in a lateral and a longitudinal direction. The seat also includes a first control to lock and unlock movement of the seat in lateral or longitudinal directions and a second control to lock and unlock the swivel. The swivel may be unlocked while movement of the seat in the lateral and the longitudinal direction is locked.
COMPACT STOWABLE TRAVEL ACCESSORY SYSTEM
A stowable travel accessory system that includes a head set and a leg-set for providing full support for the head, the neck and the legs of a passenger. The sets are adapted to be encapsulated together into a compact package. The head set includes an elastic jacket to be dressed on the headrest of the passenger's seat, two cushions for supporting the head, rear straps enable adjustment of the head set to the seats in different aircrafts, and encapsulating the cushions when being folded. The leg-set includes a foldable rigid foot-rest for carrying the weight of the legs, a belt, a buckle for creating a grasping loop from a segment of the belt, into which the cushions are inserted when encapsulated, such that when the strap is stretched, the length of the grasping loop will be reduced to be firmly tightened around the encapsulated head set.
CONFIGURABLE VEHICLE SEAT AND METHOD THEREFOR
An adjustable vehicle seat including a seat frame forming a seat back, the seat frame being configured to couple with an aerospace vehicle, and a seat pan coupled to the seat frame, where one or more of the seat frame and the seat pan is configured to couple the seat pan to the seat frame in one of a plurality of positions relative to the seat frame so that an eye position of a seat occupant relative to instrumentation within the aerospace vehicle is decoupled from a size of the seat occupant.
FLEXIBLE HEADREST ASSEMBLY
Described are passenger seat headrest assemblies and seats including head-rest assemblies having a semi-rigid flap fixedly connected with an upper portion of the seat back or headrest assembly at a first location and movably connected with the seat back or headrest assembly at a receiving element separated from the first location. The distance of the movable connection from the first location can be adjusted to cause the flexible head-rest assembly to flex outward from the seat to provide a greater or lesser degree of support for a passenger.
Seat
A seat includes: a backrest configured to support a back of a seated occupant; a headrest provided to an upper portion of the backrest and configured to support a back of a head of the seated occupant; an overhang portion configured to overhang forward so as to laterally cover the head of the seated occupant from a side portion of the headrest; an overhang adjustment mechanism capable of adjusting an overhang amount of the overhang portion; and a height adjustment mechanism capable of adjusting a height position of the headrest with respect to the backrest.
AIRCRAFT SEAT WITH EXTENDABLE AND RETRACTABLE REAR SECTION
An aircraft seat may include a seat pan cushion coupled to a seat base. The aircraft seat may include a seat back cushion. The aircraft seat may include an auxiliary rear section. The auxiliary rear section may be configured to transition between an extended position and a retracted position. The seat pan cushion and the seat back cushion may be configured to transition between a first position and a second position. The auxiliary rear section may be configured to be in the extended position when the seat pan cushion and the seat back cushion are in the first position. The auxiliary rear section may be configured to be in the retracted position when the seat pan cushion and the seat back cushion are in the second position.
Boarding guidance system
A boarding guidance system includes a beacon (202A) associated with a passenger seat (400A). The beacon is configured to communicate (506) with a passenger guiding device (102) and determine a distance between the passenger guiding device and the passenger seat. When the passenger guiding device is a predetermined distance from the passenger seat, the beacon provides an indication. The beacon further alter at least one characteristic of the indication based on the distance between the passenger guiding device and the passenger seat.
