FUSELAGE FOR AN AIRCRAFT WITH FUSELAGE-INTEGRATED TAILPLANE
A fuselage for an aircraft. The fuselage has a control element with an integrated engine outlet. The control element is integrated at a rear end of the fuselage, so that the control element terminates flush with an outer skin of the fuselage in a circumferential direction of the fuselage. An outer wall of the control element surrounds the engine outlet wherein the engine outlet is directed towards an open rear side of the control element. The control element is connected to the fuselage such that the control element jointly the engine outlet is pivotable about a rotation axis with respect to the fuselage. The rotation axis runs transversely to a longitudinal direction of the fuselage and the control element functions as a tailplane when pivoting about the rotation axis.
AIRCRAFT ENGINE ASSEMBLY COMPRISING A PYLON LEADING EDGE INCORPORATED WITH AN ANNULAR ROW OF UNFAIRED AFTER-GUIDE VANES
To reduce the overall mass of an engine assembly for aircraft, this assembly comprises a part of the fuselage of an aircraft, a turbomachine comprising an unfaired propeller, together with an annular row of unfaired after-guide vanes located aft of the propeller and rotationally fixed in relation to a longitudinal axis of the turbomachine, and a mounting pylon. At least part of the leading edge of the pylon is incorporated within the annular row between two after-guide vanes.
RECONFIGURABLE LUBRICATION SYSTEM FOR MULTIPLE POWERTRAIN ORIENTATIONS
A gas turbine engine assembly and a method for assembling a gas turbine engine assembly are disclosed herein. The gas turbine engine assembly includes an engine core and a gearbox. The gearbox includes a lubrication system having a first sump and a second sump. The lubrication system is configurable to provide oil from either of the first and second sumps in various configurations of the gas turbine engine assembly.

CONFIGURATION FOR VERTICAL TAKE-OFF AND LANDING SYSTEM FOR AERIAL VEHICLES
A vehicle, includes a main body. A fluid generator is coupled to the main body and produces a fluid stream. At least one fore conduit and at least one tail conduit are fluidly coupled to the generator. First and second fore ejectors are fluidly coupled to the fore conduit, coupled to the main body and respectively coupled to a starboard side and port side of the vehicle. The fore ejectors respectively comprise an outlet structure out of which fluid flows. At least one tail ejector is fluidly coupled to the tail conduit. The tail ejector comprises an outlet structure out of which fluid flows. A primary airfoil element is coupled to the tail portion. A surface of the primary airfoil element is located directly downstream of the first and second fore ejectors such that the fluid from the first and second fore ejectors flows over the such surface.

AIRCRAFT AND EMPENNAGE SECTION OF AN AIRCRAFT
An aircraft having a fuselage terminating in an empennage with a tail extending upwardly from the empennage. An engine strut extends from the empennage with an engine mounted to the engine strut and a moveable control surface provided on the engine strut.
AIRCRAFT
An aircraft includes a fuselage, a wing disposed above the fuselage, a pylon connecting the wing to the fuselage, and a plurality of internal combustion engines housed in the fuselage. The pylon vertically traverses the fuselage and is fixed to an upper portion and a lower portion of the fuselage. Among the plurality of internal combustion engines, a first internal combustion engine and a second internal combustion engine are disposed bilaterally symmetrically about the pylon and are fixed to the pylon.
Aircraft
An aircraft (2) comprises at least first and second gas turbine engines (10a, 10b) arranged in a line extending generally normally to an aircraft longitudinal axis (A), each engine (10a, 10b) comprising at least one compressor or turbine rotor disc (32-42) defining a respective rotational plane (D.sub.32-D.sub.42). The rotational plane (D.sub.32-D.sub.42) of at least one of the rotors (32-42) of at least one of the engines (10a, 10b) is angled relative to the aircraft longitudinal line (A) such that a burst disc plane of the respective engine (10a, 10b) is nonintersecting with another engine (10a, 10b).
Aircraft having a folding system
An aircraft has an empennage and a folding system. The folding system has aerofoils and node bodies which are connected to one another. The aerofoils have at least two nose-side aerofoils and at least two tail-side aerofoils, of which one of the nose-side aerofoils and one of the tail-side aerofoils are port-side aerofoils and one of the nose-side aerofoils and one of the tail-side aerofoils are starboard-side aerofoils. The node bodies have fuselage-side node bodies and outer node bodies. The nose-side aerofoils and tail-side aerofoils are each articulated at a first end to an associated fuselage-side node body, and the nose-side aerofoils and tail-side aerofoils are each articulated at a second end to an outer node body. The tail-side node bodies are displaceable at least partially along an associated translation axis. The folding system functions as the empennage during flight.
