ELEVATING ANIMAL FEED MIXING SYSTEM
An elevating feed mixing system and method are provided. The system includes a support frame and a raisable platform raisable relative to the support frame. A mixing tub disposed on the raisable platform is configured to receive constituent ingredients of a feed and further configured to raise to release the feed after it is mixed.
Feed wagon
A livestock feed wagon includes a moving frame, a feed container which is fitted on the frame for accommodating animal feed, in particular provided with feed mixer, and a movable arm construction having an operable gripper fitted thereto for grabbing an amount of animal feed. The arm construction is configured in such a way that the arm construction can pivot the gripper only in one plane from a first position for grabbing animal feed next to the livestock feed wagon to a second position for releasing the animal feed above the feed container. This makes it possible to provide a very simple and compact construction.
Mixing Wagon
The invention provides a mixer feeder (1) comprising a mobile chassis (3), a tub (4) provided on the chassis (3) and at least one auger provided for rotation about a respective vertical axis of rotation. in the tub (4). Seen in vertical cross-section, the wall (12) of the tub (4) extends at least substantially upright from the bottom (6) of the tub (4). The wall (12) of the tub (4) curves inward at the upper side of the tub (4), sloping up and then extending downward.
FEED MIXER
The present invention relates to a feed mixer (F) comprising at least one rotatably drivable mixing member (M) and at least one planetary gear arranged on the feed mixer (F) and driving the mixing member (M), said planetary gear comprising a sun gear (25), a planetary gear carrier (22) with planetary gears (23) and a ring gear (24) as torque transmitting components in a housing (14) and being adapted to be shifted under load with at least one clutch (K) between at least two gear ratios. According to the present invention, the planetary gear comprises in the housing (14) a single clutch (K) between two of the components and on the housing (14) a brake (B), which is actuable on the feed mixer (F) and which can be used for optionally blocking one of the two components relative to the feed mixer (F) as well as for disengaging the clutch (K).
MAGNET DEVICE FOR A FEED MIXING WAGON OR A STATIONARY FEED MIXER
A magnet device for a feed mixing wagon including at least one magnet and a separator. The separator and the at least one magnet are arranged so that they can move relative to one another in order to be brought from a first operating position into a second operating position. The separator is arranged in the first operating position relative to the at least one magnet in such a way that the separator shields the at least one magnet, so that metal parts to be separated from feed are pulled onto the separator by the magnet and held thereon. The separator is spaced further apart from the at least one magnet in the second operating position than in the first operating position.
Livestock feed wagon
A livestock feed wagon includes a frame, a feed container which is fitted on the frame, in particular provided with a feed mixer, a gripper construction having a movable arm construction and a gripper fitted thereon for grabbing an amount of animal feed from a pile of animal feed, and a weighing device. The weighing device is arranged and configured to weigh a grabbed amount of animal feed by determining a change in the weight of at least the feed container and the gripper construction with the grabbed amount of animal feed. As a result thereof, it is possible to determine both the total loaded weight in the feed container and the weight of a grabbed chunk of animal feed using the same weighing device, so that the chunk, if it is either too heavy or too light, can be returned prior being unloaded, if desired.
FODDER MIXING WAGON
A fodder mixing wagon, comprising a mixing container containing a mixing device, which is adapted to be driven in a mixing process of at least two fodder components, and at least one electronically operable sensor system having a head and used for determining fodder values of at least one fodder component, the head is arranged such that it is operable in the interior of the fodder mixture during the mixing process for determining fodder values of all loaded fodder components and/or the mixing accuracy of the fodder mixture.
Feed-mixing wagon and method for replacing a covering of a feed-mixing wagon
A feed-mixing wagon includes a container for receiving feed. The container includes a bottom, and a peripheral wall which is closed off at a bottom end by the bottom. A mixing element is provided for mixing the feed to be accommodated in the container. The peripheral wall is provided with a wall covering which extends at least along a bottom, ring-shaped part of the inner surface of the peripheral wall. The wall covering includes a plurality of wall plate parts with upwardly extending side edges. Two adjoining side edges of at least two respective adjoining wall plate parts are clamped to the inner surface of the peripheral wall by clamping strips which overlap these adjoining side edges and which are attached to the peripheral wall of the container by means of detachable fasteners.
Vertical Feed Mixer With In-Tub Magnet
An auger for a vertical feed mixer with a lifting surface that is upwardly angled from an inner edge toward an outer edge. A fliting portion to form a part of an auger for a vertical feed mixer, the fliting portion including an outer edge that is positioned higher than a radially positioned inner edge. An auger for a vertical feed mixer that in rotation defines an hourglass shape. A magnet is included within the tub of the mixer.
Auger with continuous knife
An auger is provided for cutting and mixing bulk fibrous feed placed into a mixing chamber of a mixer for eventual consumption by livestock. The auger comprises flighting have an outside edge defining the periphery of the auger. A knife is provided, connected to the periphery of the flighting in a continuous or substantially continuous manner along at least a major portion of the periphery of the flighting of the auger. The continuous or substantially continuous knife may include knife sections placed adjacent and substantially longitudinally to one another thereby providing a continuous or substantially continuous knife. The auger having the continuous or nearly continuous knife along the periphery provides a substantially clean cut of fibrous bulk material and a reduction in crushing and/or tearing of the fibrous material relative to an auger with a non-continuous knife or an auger with a serrated knife.
