An improved biosecurity livestock floor system for safely supporting and farrowing livestock. The floor system improves the safety of the livestock and the user. The floor system includes a containment area with containment panels, and a safety area with safety area floor panels, which house an animal and is adjoined, and separated, by the Flying-W configuration of the rib structure. This configuration protects offspring of the animal in the adjoining safety area from being injured or killed.

A feeder system for feeding and nurturing livestock is presented. The feeder system improves the safety of the livestock by providing a bio-secure device for feeding livestock. The feeder system provides a means for feeding an animal confined in an area, cleaning the area, and replenishing feed without requiring removal of the animal from the confined area. The feeder system is especially adapted for an improved biosecurity livestock confinement crate and floor system.

Feeding station for farm animals, in particular for pigs

A feeding station for farm animals (45), as in particular for pigs, provided with a first reservoir (3) for a first animal food component, a first conveyor pipe (15) connected to the first reservoir (3), with a first conveyor screw (17) extending internally of the first conveyor pipe (15), and a mouthpiece (7) for reception in the mouth of an animal (45). A first end of the first conveyor screw (17) is coupled adjacent to the first reservoir (3) to a rotatable first drive (21) and a second end of the first conveyor screw (17) ends shortly before the mouthpiece (7). The feeding station (1) is further provided with at least a second reservoir (5) for a second animal food component, a second conveyor pipe (16) connected to the second reservoir with a second conveyor screw (19) extending internally of the second conveyor pipe (16). A first end of the second conveyor screw (19) is coupled adjacent to the second reservoir (5) to a second drive (23) which is rotatable independently of the first drive (21). The second conveyor pipe (16) is joined together with the first conveyor pipe (15) adjacent to a second end of the second conveyor screw (19). The first and second drives (21, 23) are operable by a control unit (33) in accordance with a desired mixing ratio of the first and second animal food components.

Overhead animal feed loading, transporting and mixing system

The system includes a scoop assembly and a mixing tub that are movable overhead a series of storage bays. The scoop assembly may retrieve commodities from the storage bays and load measured quantities of the commodities into the mixing tub.

In one embodiment, a system for dispensing pet food includes a chamber, a transport conveyor, a blade, and an extractor. The chamber may dispense a pet found pouch to the transport conveyer. The transport conveyor may receive the pet food pouch and transport the pet food pouch to the blade wherein the blade may cut open the pet food pouch. The transport conveyor may then move the opened pet food pouch to the extractor. The transport conveyor may activate the extractor causing the extractor to lower onto the transport conveyor and extract pet food from the pet food pouch into a food tray. The transport conveyor may dispose the pet food pouch into a trash tray by releasing a trapdoor.
