Calf creep feeder
10881076 · 2021-01-05 ·

A calf creep feeder includes a panel fence positioned at each side of a feed enclosure. Each of the panel fences are selectively movable between a lower creep feeder position to an upper stowed position. A pair of torsion springs are secured to each of the panel fences to assist in raising the panel fences from their lower creep feeder positions to its upper stowed position.

FEEDER
20200396960 · 2020-12-24 ·

Directional feeders having a feed slide, a feed pocket and multiple flappers on a rotor are disclosed. The rotor may be configured to have a horizontal axis of rotation such that gravity conveys feed down the feed slide to a feed pocket which redirects the feed into a rotor housing.

Electrified feeder spinner plate actuator assembly
10869460 · 2020-12-22 ·

An electrified feeder assembly includes a hopper, an actuator assembly, a motor, and at least one power supply. The hopper is configured to hold a quantity of feed wherein the feed is gravity fed downward through a feed tube. The actuator assembly is coupled to the hopper and is configured to selectively disperse feed when powered by the power supply. The motor receives power from the power supply and selectively spins the actuator assembly at a selected speed to open and close the feed tube. The speed of rotation induces a centrifugal force which opens the feed tube by translating the position of a portion of the actuator assembly. The feed exits the hopper through the feed tube and is dispersed through contact with the rotating actuator assembly. The actuator assembly is partially and temporarily electrified when manipulated in a closed position.

ANIMAL FEED MECHANISM WITH FEED AGITATOR ASSEMBLY
20200375146 · 2020-12-03 ·

An animal feed mechanism with feed agitator assembly includes a feed bin, a funnel-shaped boot attached to a bottom of the feed bin, an agitator system installed in the boot, and a conveying device for conveying feed out of the boot. The agitator system is installed using boot mount brackets attached to end walls of the boot, and holes cut in the sidewalls of the boot after the boot mount brackets are attached. The boot mount brackets each include a lower ledge with a sufficient length to block the free flow of feed out of the holes cut in the sidewalls of the boot due to the angle of repose of the feed. The agitator system includes a motor driven agitator shaft with radial projections that can be inserted through the holes cut in the boot and supported at each end by bearings attached to the boot mount brackets.

PET FEEDER
20200367469 · 2020-11-26 ·

A pet feeder for automatic and timely provision of food to household pets includes a housing containing one or more types of pet food. The pet feeder includes a feeding tray operably coupled to a base, the feeding tray defines at least one pet food feeding zone located outside the housing; and a food tank positioned in the housing, the food tank defines a plurality of food compartments. At least one rotary valve is disposed at the bottom of the food tank; and a first electric actuator is mounted on the housing and engaged to the rotary valve, the first electric actuator drives the rotary valve to open only one food compartment at a time, to allow food of the only one food compartment to unload downwardly to the feeding tray. A food pusher can move the pet food into the feeding tray accessible to a pet.

Animal feeding system
10842127 · 2020-11-24 · ·

An animal feeding system can consist of at least a housing physically supported by a stand a predetermined distance above a ground level. A first dispensing assembly may be attached to a first dispensing aperture of the housing while a second dispensing assembly is attached to a second dispensing aperture of the housing. The first dispensing assembly and second dispensing assemblies can be different and physically separated.

MOBILE PET FEEDER
20200359595 · 2020-11-19 ·

Implementations of a mobile pet feeder are provided. In some implementations, the mobile pet feeder comprises a water container, a holder, an upper strap, and a lower strap.

In some implementations, a method of using the mobile pet feeder comprises positioning and attaching the mobile pet feeder to the back side of a seat of a vehicle.

LIVESTOCK FEEDING DEVICE
20200329668 · 2020-10-22 ·

The subject livestock feeding device consists of a body member and a flexible feed rate control member to optimize the feeding rate of hay through the top of the body member. The flexible feed rate control member conforms to the volume and shape of the hay within the device providing a simulated-natural feeding environment for horses to nibble hay. The flexible feed rate control member is operationally retractable to quickly facilitate top loading of hay into the body member.

FEED BIN MONITORING SYSTEM
20200323169 · 2020-10-15 ·

A bin monitoring system is useable with an elevated feed bin having a plurality of legs that support the bin above a pad so that each leg is connected to the pad through a load cell. The system includes an inner leg mount configured to be attached to a leg, the inner leg mount having an upper portion, and an outer bracket mounted on the load cell. The outer bracket receives the inner leg mount such that a bolt aperture in the outer bracket aligns with a bolt aperture in the upper portion of the inner leg mount and is secured with a threaded bolt. Rotation of the threaded bolt moves the inner leg mount toward the outer bracket to lift the leg so that the leg is supported by the load cell.

ANIMAL FEEDING APPARATUS AND METHOD
20200275634 · 2020-09-03 ·

An animal feeder apparatus includes a hopper defining a cavity configured to store granular animal feed; a cup mounted with respect to the hopper and defining a concavity; and a spout defining a passageway. The spout and passageway are positioned such that, when the cavity contains the granular animal feed, the granular animal feed flows from the cavity, through the passageway, and into the concavity of the cup. The cup, hopper, and passageway are configured and arranged such that the animal feed does not flow as a result of granular friction when the concavity contains more than a predetermined amount of feed.
