Silent automated game feeder
An automated game feeder that is virtually silent includes a hopper for holding feed, a bottom wall thereof defining a dispensing opening that, when open, allows feed to be dispensed. A dispensing gate is pivotally mounted to the bottom wall of the dispensing gate being operative to move, when actuated, between a closed configuration covering the dispensing opening and an open figuration allowing the feed to flow out of the hopper. A digital timer is electrically connected to the dispensing gate and programmable to determine when to open and close the dispensing gate. To maintain virtual silence, the deer feeder may include a linear actuator electrically connected to the dispensing gate and timer, the linear actuator having a servo motor that is very quiet when extending a rod configured to open or close the dispensing gate. When actuated, the linear actuator operates the gate according to an array of pivotal couplings.
Feeding apparatus and method for operating a feeding apparatus
A feeding apparatus includes an inner compartment having a first opening; and an outer compartment having a second opening. At least one of the inner compartment and the outer compartment is configured to be movable relative to the other one of the inner compartment and the outer compartment from a first position in which the first opening is out of alignment with the second opening to a second position in which the first opening is aligned with the second opening.
ANIMAL FEEDER WITH MAGNETIC COMPONENTS
The invention provides, in one aspect, an animal feeder. The animal feeder includes a base and a sidewall extending upward from the base. The sidewall and base at least partially define an inner cavity operable to hold an animal feed. A roof, operable to transition between an open position and a closed position, is located above the sidewall. In the open position, the roof is magnetically attached to a first magnetic feature such that a user can access the inner cavity. In the closed position, the roof is magnetically attached to a second magnetic feature such that the user cannot access the inner cavity.
Livestock feeding device
The subject livestock feeding device consists of a body member and a flexible feed rate control member to optimize the feeding rate of hay through the top of the body member. The flexible feed rate control member conforms to the volume and shape of the hay within the device providing a simulated-natural feeding environment for horses to nibble hay. The flexible feed rate control member is operationally retractable to quickly facilitate top loading of hay into the body member.
Automated pet food dispenser
A container is disclosed for maintaining, shipping and dispensing granular material such as but not limited to pet food. The container includes an aperture in the bottom which is sealed with a pull tab until the material is ready for dispensing. An automated dispenser of such granular materials is also disclosed such that an insert in a drawer located below an aperture in the dispenser controls the amount of material that is dispensed from the container that sits atop the dispenser.
Livestock Feeder with Measured Dispensing System
A livestock feeder is provided with a feed discharge assembly for dispensing a premeasured amount of feed into the trough of each feeding stall. The livestock feeder includes individual feeding stalls wherein the same amount of feed is dispensed for each animal such that the feeding of each animal may be monitored and controlled. Indicator lights may be provided to attract the livestock to the individual feeding stalls during feeding periods.
Gravity Flow Feeder
A gravity flow feeder is disclosed having a vertically arranged, canister, funnel, chute, and trough arrangement wherein feed contained within each canister is allowed to flow down, aided by gravity, to settle within a feed trough. Use of a timing mechanism and a pneumatic or hydraulic cylinder allows for the articulation of a closeable access to open or close the trough in order to protect the feed contained from the elements and scavenging animals and condition the timing of animal arrival at the feeder. Any number of feed containing canisters may be implemented in order to provide for mixing of various types of feed within the trough for maintenance of a balanced diet for desired animals.
WILDLIFE FEEDER
A ground level gravity wildlife feeder assembly, components thereof, and associated methods. The wildlife feeder comprises a base assembly including a base, a feed director, and a plurality of selectively moveable gates configured to permit or restrict feed from exiting the base. The wildlife feeder comprises a hopper assembly configured to hold a supply of feed material and is supportably connected to the base.
ANIMAL FEEDER
A robust multiple compartment animal feeder. The device has multiple hoppers or containers, each of which is filled with feed. The device periodically releases a door, allowing food to fall from one of the hoppers. The use of a pin inserted into a latch allows substantial weight to be placed in the hopper. Pins are withdrawn from the latches by a line. The line periodically pulls one of the pins from a latch to release feed from the container with which the pin and latch are associated.
AUTOMATIC PET FEEDING DEVICE
An automatic pet feeding device includes a grain storage bin including a grain leaking member formed at a lower portion thereof and connected with a pushing granary, the pushing granary arranged below the grain storage bin and including a grain delivery member, and a grain pusher slidably arranged between the pushing granary and the grain storage bin; the grain pusher configured to push pet food in the pushing granary out of the grain delivery member, and open or close the grain leaking member and the grain delivery member. The present disclosure provides that pet food can flow out of the grain delivery member through the grain pusher, and both the grain leaking member and the grain delivery member can be sealed at the same time, to prevent insects and ants from entering inside the feeding device from the grain delivery member, to breed bacteria and endanger health of pets.
