DOSING APPARATUS FOR POWDER PRODUCTS
20190299258 · 2019-10-03 ·

A dosing apparatus for dosing a powder product inside containers includes a hopper provided with an inner cavity for containing the product, a lower portion provided with a supply duct with a terminal aperture for the outflow of the product, a metering screw rotating inside the supply duct and a washing manifold provided with an inlet opening and containing at least a sonotrode. In a cleaning configuration of the dosing apparatus, the washing manifold is connected to the hopper coupling the inlet opening to the supply duct, so as to receive and contain a washing liquid introduced in the hopper. The sonotrode is activated to produce alternate pressure waves capable of generating in the washing liquid air bubbles adapted to propagate towards the inner cavity through the supply duct, and to implode thus creating shock waves.

Method for the two stage filling of flexible pouches

The apparatus, for filling a flexible pouch having a bottom end, an opposite top end, and a pair of side edges extending between the bottom and top end, includes a filling station, a supply of compressed purging gas, and a gas purging station. The filling station includes a feeder that dispenses an amount of product into the pouch. The gas purge station is positioned subsequent to the filling station and includes a pair of gas lances. Each of the pair of gas lances have an outlet to discharge the purging gas into the pouch. The pair of gas lances being moveable between an inserted position and a withdrawn position. In the inserted position the pair of gas lances are disposed within the pouch a predetermined distance above the amount of product, and in the withdrawn position the pair of gas lances are provided above the top end of the pouch.

Bag-filling machine

To fill bags, a hopper is used to stored fill material. Bag holders are mounted on a transport mechanism. At one or more operator stations, an operator attaches a bag to one of the bag holders. At one or more fill stations, fill material from the hopper is used to fill a bag attached to a bag holder. A conveyer mechanism conveys the bag, after it has been filled, away from the transport mechanism. The transport mechanism transports the bag holder with the attached bag from an operator station to a fill station. The transport mechanism also transports the bag holder from a fill station to an operator station.
