Elevated animal feeder assembly
An elevated animal feeder assembly includes a hopper for containing granular animal feed. The hopper has a dispensing chute for dispensing the granular animal feed and a plurality of legs for elevating the hopper above a support surface. A feed bucket is suspendable from the hopper facilitating the feed bucket to be filled with the granular animal feed. A pair of grapples is each attached to the feed bucket to suspend the feed bucket from the hopper. An auger chute is disposed in the feed bucket and the auger chute extends into the hopper. An auger is rotatably disposed within the auger chute to transport the granular animal feed upwardly through the auger chute and into the hopper for filling the hopper with the granular animal feed when the auger rotates in a first direction.
Method for separable connection and fixation of two circular cylindrical pipe ends, system for connection of two pipe ends with the same external diameters and the same material thickness and use of such a system
A method for the separable joining and fastening of two circularly cylindrical pipe ends (2, 2A) with the same outside and inside diameters, in mutual non-rotatable extension of each other with coinciding central axes (3) is provided in which the pipe ends (2, 2A) are brought axially against each other and fastened radially, wherein a toothing (7) in the axial direction at one pipe end (2) engages with a corresponding toothing (7) in the axial direction at the other pipe end (2A) in a last section of the axial assembly for joining two pipe ends. Similarly, a system is provided with a joint sleeve and corresponding detent for keeping the pipe ends joined.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR WEIGHING ANIMAL FEED INGREDIENTS
Embodiments of a system and method for weighing animal feed ingredients using a bucket loader to dispense a measured quantity of ingredient into a feed scale are disclosed. A weight of the feed ingredient in the bucket is determined and compared to a weight of the feed ingredient subsequently transferred from the bucket to the feed scale. Based on the comparison, data received from components of the system is calibrated to increase accuracy of future weighings of the feed ingredient.
Feed wagon
A livestock feed wagon includes a moving frame, a feed container which is fitted on the frame for accommodating animal feed, in particular provided with feed mixer, and a movable arm construction having an operable gripper fitted thereto for grabbing an amount of animal feed. The arm construction is configured in such a way that the arm construction can pivot the gripper only in one plane from a first position for grabbing animal feed next to the livestock feed wagon to a second position for releasing the animal feed above the feed container. This makes it possible to provide a very simple and compact construction.
Livestock feed wagon
A livestock feed wagon includes a frame, a feed container which is fitted on the frame, in particular provided with a feed mixer, a gripper construction having a movable arm construction and a gripper fitted thereon for grabbing an amount of animal feed from a pile of animal feed, and a weighing device. The weighing device is arranged and configured to weigh a grabbed amount of animal feed by determining a change in the weight of at least the feed container and the gripper construction with the grabbed amount of animal feed. As a result thereof, it is possible to determine both the total loaded weight in the feed container and the weight of a grabbed chunk of animal feed using the same weighing device, so that the chunk, if it is either too heavy or too light, can be returned prior being unloaded, if desired.
ANIMAL INTERACTION DEVICE, SYSTEM AND METHOD
An animal interaction device is provided that includes a food access component which allows and disallows access to at least a portion of the food. In various embodiments, the allowing and disallowing of access to at least a portion of the food is dependent upon the animal's condition. A method is also provided such that the device above is provided to an animal, one or more indicators are optionally activated, the animal's first condition is sensed via one or more sensors, and based upon the animal's condition, the previously protected food is made accessible, and subsequently the protected food is made available again based upon the animal's second condition. A system is also provided for automatically interacting with an animal including at least one animal interaction device each of which comprises an initial interaction algorithm to automatically interact with the animal. Other aspects of the invention are provided.
Automated animal feeder
An automated animal feeder is disclosed having a storage area with a top at one end and the second feeding into a dispensing module containing a dispensing tube. An auger, connected to a support and motor, extends into the second opening of the storage area. Preferably the auger support is movable along the dispensing module to vary a distance between the length of the auger at the proximal opening of the dispensing tube. A programmable control panel controls the motor and can have a display screen, speaker and programming members, or the control panel can be controlled by remote control. Power can be from at least one from the group of replaceable battery, rechargeable battery, solar or electricity, power the control panel and motor. A deflection tab extends into the dispensing tube, spaced from the auger, to prevent the accumulation food on the auger. The hanging member on the top can affixed to a stand with a post having a first end, a second end and a pivot point, the pivot point being affixed to the stand. The first end has a connection member for the hanging member and said second end has a rotation prevention member and an anchor. The post can rotate upon the release of the anchor to a predetermined distance from the ground as determined by the rotation prevention member or be locked in an upright position by said anchor.
ANIMAL FEEDER SYSTEM
A animal feeder system includes a housing assembly, a drive assembly, and an agitation assembly, whereby the agitation assembly agitates feed within the housing assembly when the drive assembly is actuated. Further, when the drive assembly is agitated, feed is dispensed from the housing assembly through a lower opening.
Smart hopper and feeder assembly
A device, system, and method for autonomously feeding livestock animals includes receiving signals from RFID tag readers, determining animals associated with the signals are eligible for feeding, causing a motor to rotate an auger for dispensing an output feed amount, and updating a feed history of the animal. The animals are determined to be eligible for feeding based on a feed history associated with the RFID tag and a feed schedule or a feed routine.
Lure for large game
The invention relates to a game lure system designed for attracting large animals. The system comprises a durable and waterproof container divided by a partition into a food storage compartment and a main compartment. A hatch on the container is programmably controlled to open at pre-set times, allowing food to be accessed from the food storage to the main compartment. The timing and duration of the hatch's opening are controlled by a programmable control unit, which also activates a sound-producing device when the hatch opens, enhancing the lure's effectiveness by associating the sound with food availability. This programmable feature allows for the creation of a predictable feeding pattern, thereby habituating the targeted animals to the lure's location. The lure is also equipped with mounting brackets for easy installation and a top lid for maintenance and refilling. This invention provides an efficient and automated solution to attract large game with increased predictability and effectiveness.
