DISPENSER, FEEDER AND SYSTEM FOR DISPENSING FEED
A dispenser for dispensing feed, which comprises a container which is configured to contain feed and is provided with an inlet opening for loading feed into the container and an outlet opening for dispensing feed contained in the container, wherein an auger is arranged at the outlet opening and is mechanically connected to a rotor which is arranged in the container and is configured to be mechanically connected to an actuator to rotate the auger around a rotation axis. The present description also concerns a feeder and a system which can comprise said dispenser.
Herd feeding system with low-cost, efficient, and portable feed bins for feeding individual animals
A feeding system for feeding individual animals of a herd feed, supplements, and combinations thereof. The feeding system includes one-to-many feed bin assemblies or feeding stations such that the system is able to dispense a specified mass of feed to specific animals at user-defined intervals. In this way, each animal of a herd is provided with optimal, individualized amounts of feed or feed material. Multiple feed bin assemblies in a single pasture, for example, can automatically form a network of feeders so that regardless of the specific feed bin assembly or feeding station within the feeding system that an animal visits, the specified amount and type of feed or feed material is delivered. Each feed bin assembly or feeding station can also be equipped to download, archive/store, and/or synthesize data into an individual animal record and/or to transmit data from additional onboard animal sensors such as activity and rumination sensors.
Unloading Auger
A feed supply system used in distributing feed grain from a feed tank includes a boot unloader coupled to an upstream end of at least one conveyor tube in fluid communication with a downwardly opening aperture of the feed tank. The boot unloader includes an unloader body formed of a front panel and a rear panel to form a receiving portion into which feed grain flows from the feed tank. At least one auger is partially received in the unloader body and extends from the unloader body into a respective conveyor tube. The auger is secured to the rear panel with an end bearing and has a helical flighting configured to rotate about an auger axis. An auger retention mechanism extends between the front panel and the rear panel of the boot unloader and positioned above the auger axis so that the auger retention mechanism prevents the flighting from deforming upwards within the boot unloader.
System for metering feed in feed lines
A method for measuring feed flow, feed is moved through a flexible pipe using a flexible auger operably positioned within the pipe. Feed flow through a metered section (309) of the flexible pipe is metered using a feed meter (304) attached to the flexible pipe. The feed meter includes load cell (312) configured to detect strain induced by feed mass within the metered section (309). Metering feed includes providing a measure of mass flow of the feed, using the load cell (312), when the feed moves through the metered section (309).
AUTOMATIC FEEDER AND FEEDING PIPE THEREOF
The present invention relates to an automatic feeder and a feeding pipe thereof. A feeding pipe (1) discharges a feed when a pig gnaws a gnawing block (12) thereon, and when the gnawing block (12) is gnawed, a pressure sensor (14) is triggered; a hopper (2) is configured to be filled with a dry feed material; one end of a spiral conveyor (3) is connected with a motor (4), the other end of the spiral conveyor is located in the feeding pipe (1), and the spiral conveyor (3) is configured to convey the dry feed material in the hopper (2) to the feeding pipe (1); the motor (4) provides power for rotation of the spiral conveyor (3); a water supply pipeline (5) provides water for the dry feed material in the feeding pipe (1) for feed mixing; and after receiving a triggering signal of the pressure sensor (14), a control unit (7) controls the motor (4) to be powered on and the water supply pipeline (5) to be opened simultaneously, and when not receiving the triggering signal of the pressure sensor (14), the control unit (7) controls the motor (4) to be powered off and the water supply pipeline (5) to be closed.
Mixing and dosing device for cattle feed
The invention relates to a mixing and dosing device for cattle feed, comprising a plurality of feed hoppers for different types of feed, wherein each hopper has an infeed end and an outfeed end disposed thereunder, wherein a dosing device is disposed in each hopper at its outfeed end, further comprising a control device adapted to control each of the dosing devices in order to dose feed from the associated hopper, a pivotable distributing hopper disposed under the plurality of outfeed ends, outfeed ports placed under the distributing hopper for connection to fodder conduits debouching in different feed troughs, further comprising one or more actuators for pivoting the distributing hopper, wherein the control device is further adapted to control the actuators so as to position the distributing hopper with its downstream end substantially above a selected one of the outfeed ports. The invention also relates to a feeding stall for feeding animals and a system and method for tracking positions of animals.
Vertical combined shredding and mixing truck
A vertical combined shredding and mixing truck, adapted to shred fibrous products such as hay or straw and to mix them with ensiled and farinaceous products to provide the mechanized feeding of dairy cows and fattening cows, including, within an outer enclosure, at least one vertical motorized screw feeder, which is provided with applied blades and an outlet for discharging the mixed product; there is at least one device which including an idle rotor which is provided with tools adapted to come into contact with the product being processed and is integral with the at least one screw feeder, protruding from the outer edge of said screw feeder.
Wild Game Feeder
A wild game feeder for safely feeding game that can be suspended from any structure.
Devices and systems for limiting feed volume disposed into a plurality of tandem feed boot unloaders into a feed path(s), and related methods
Devices and systems for limiting feed volume dispensed into a plurality of tandem feed boot unloaders into one or more feed paths and related methods are disclosed. A core system is provided that are disposed in the feed path through each of the tandem feed boot unloaders in a center portion of an auger supported by a bearing assembly. Feed housings are configured to direct feed into the boot unloaders and into the auger. The feed is moved by the auger as a result of rotation of the auger about the bearing assembly. The core system provided herein limits and regulates the amount of feed that can enter each boot unloader by occupying space within a center portion of the auger that passes through each boot unloader, thus making it less likely that the auger will become clogged and be constrained from moving feed in the feed path.
PET FOOD COOKER AND MIXER
A pet food cooker and mixer includes a housing within which is enclosed a motor and a removable mixing pot where the mixing pot is configured with curved walls and an open top, a longitudinal axis, and an outlet at one end. A mixer blade is driven by the motor and is configured with a shaft extending along the longitudinal axis within the mixing pot, the mixer blade comprising plurality of paddles extending radially from the shaft and configured to force food material toward the outlet and a scraper arm extending outward from the shaft, the scraper arm having a scraper paddle in contact with the curved walls. An extrusion auger is also driven by the motor and is configured to force food material through the outlet. The device is also configured with a heating element for heating the mixing pot.
