Fluid dispensing system with rotatable port assembly
A fluid dispensing system includes a manifold port assembly having a housing with an inlet port and a plurality of outlet ports formed thereon and a carousel bounding a plurality of spaced apart fluid paths that each extend therethrough from a corresponding first end to an opposing corresponding second end, at least a portion of at least one of the fluid paths being completely radially encircled by the carousel at a spaced apart location from the housing. A fluid source is fluid coupled with the inlet port of the manifold port assembly. Each of a plurality of containers are fluid coupled with a select one of the outlet ports of the manifold port assembly. A motor is coupled with the carousel for rotating the carousel relative to the housing.

FLEXIBLE PACKAGE FILLING TECHNIQUE
A method and system for filling a flexible film bag attached to a face plate with a flowable composition is disclosed. The system includes a chamber for receiving the flexible film bag and a fill tube for dispensing the flowable composition into the flexible film bag, where the fill tube is at least partially disposed in the film bag. The system also includes a first pump in fluid communication with the chamber, where the first pump creates a vacuum between an exterior surface of the flexible film bag and an interior surface of the chamber, such that the flexible film bag expands from an unexpanded state to an expanded state.

TWO-PHASE FILLING APPARATUS AND METHODS
Embodiments include piston filling apparatuses having first and second piston pumps in fluid communication with supply reservoirs. The first and second piston pumps can each draw in a volume of fluid and simultaneously expel a volume of fluid. Fluid expelled by the first and second piston pumps can be mixed in a manifold and allowed to flow through a filler nozzle by a filler valve. Other embodiments are also included herein.

CONTAINER LID FOR A CONTAINER, AND METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR FILLING A CONTAINER
A container lid for a container for holding liquid or paste-like products has a lid body, which can be fixed to a container housing of the container via a container opening. By a manually operable metering dispenser device a predefinable quantity of the product can be dispensed from the container housing through a product dispensing opening of the metering dispenser device when an actuating element of the metering dispenser device is actuated. A mixing device for the product located in the container has a displaceable mixing element, which is operatively connected to the actuating element of the metering dispenser device and which is displaced by an actuation of the actuating element. In a filling process, the container is filled with several product components and mixed in a mixing step with the aid of the mixing device located on the container lid before the container is sealed with the container lid.
Method for filling a target volume into a container, measuring arrangement and flowmeter
A method for filling a target volume into a container by means of a measuring arrangement is described and illustrated. The measuring arrangement includes at least one flowmeter for measuring the flow of a medium flowing into the container, at least one actuator and at least one control unit. The flowmeter includes a computing unit. The filling process can be started and ended by actuating the actuator. The control unit is connected to the actuator and the flowmeter via a communication system. The control unit is set up in such a way that, during operation, it sends a control command to the actuator to end the filling process when a defined limit value of the fill volume, which correlates with the target volume, is reached.

In Fill-Accuracy During Pouch Formation
In one of its aspects, the present invention relates to a process for forming a flexible liquid-packaging pouch. This process improves fill-accuracy of the flowable material contained in the pouch. Specifically, the invention relates to a process for improving the fill-accuracy of a pouch by incorporating at least one stand-pipe in a balance tank that feeds the pouch with flowable material to be packaged. This invention also relates to such apparatus for improving the fill-accuracy of the flexible liquid-packaging pouch.
