Device for vacuum packaging, particularly of food products
A packaging device, particularly for packaging trays containing food products or technical materials in a controlled atmosphere and by means of a film of plastic material, comprising an upper chamber and a lower chamber, which can be fastened by mutually superimposing them and are each provided internally with a plurality of heat-sealing and/or cutting and/or die-cutting elements arranged concentrically, the lower chamber being provided centrally with a plurality of supporting elements for a tray.
Tube sealer
A device for sealing sample tubes comprises a tool assembly configured to interface with a rack holding a plurality of sample storage tubes, the tool assembly holding a plurality of punches and a die plate including a plurality of cutting holes, with each of the plurality of cutting holes accepting one of the plurality of punches. The tool assembly receives a foil sheet between the punches and the die plate. The device includes an actuator enabling linear movement of the tool assembly. Linear movement of the tool assembly towards the rack engages the die plate against the rack and punches the punches through the cutting holes of the die plate to punch a plurality of sealing sections from the foil sheet and to press and seal each of the sealing sections against a top end of each of the plurality of sample storage tubes in the rack.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING A PACKAGING HAVING A CIRCUMFERENTIAL EDGE FLANGE AND A BARRIER FILM
A method for producing packaging comprises providing the shell part that defines an opening, a cavity at least partially formed by a bottom wall and side walls, and a continuously circumferential lower contact surface at a constant height around the opening of the cavity and providing a collar including the circumferential edge flange. At least one bottom tool is structured to comprise aa lower contact surface and a cavity configured to receive the shell part. At least one top tool is structured to comprise an upper contact surface. The shell part is inserted into the cavity of the at least one bottom tool and the collar is placed on the lower contact surface. A barrier film is placed over the edge flange and pressed to form a tray that is filled with goods. A sealing film is then pressed against the barrier film to seal the goods within the tray.
Beverage capsule refilling device and beverage capsule refilling method
The aim of the present application is to register a conventional beverage capsule refilling device of the type that comprises a cup bindable to a sealing sheet; and a beverage capsule refilling method, such that it makes it possible to reuse the existing capsules, generally made of plastic, in a simple, quick, clean, reliable and ecological manner.
Apparatus and method of packaging a product
A packaging apparatus includes a conveyor that moves one or more supports towards a packaging station, while a plastic film to be applied to said one or more supports is simultaneously transported to the packaging station itself. A longitudinally cutting unit longitudinally cuts the plastic film in order to form two or more film strips, and a compensating device exerts a tensioning action on one or more portions of said film strips. A packaging method includes longitudinally cutting the plastic film into strips and compensating to suitably tautly hold the film strips during their movement.
PLANT FOR PACKAGING CAPSULES
A plant for packaging capsules comprising a main frame (20) on which is positioned a system for moving capsules (30) to make one or more capsules (12) advance along a first predetermined axial direction (A-A) from an inlet (22) to an outlet (24). The plant comprises a plurality of operating stations (200, 201, 203) for packaging a substance into a plurality of capsules (12), wherein the system for moving capsules (30) comprises a movement device that comprises a pair of sliding profiles (36) that extend along said first predetermined axial direction (A-A) and are connected to the main frame (20), a first movable frame (87, 88, 89) movable in transverse direction with respect to the first predetermined axial direction (A-A), a driving member mounted slidable on an upper movable beam (88) of the first movable frame (87, 88, 89) along said predetermined axial direction (A-A) and positioned between the pair of sliding profiles (36). Said driving member comprises a plurality of drive pins (212) particularly suited to drive a capsule transport support (100) containing said one or more capsules (12).
PACKAGING
A method of packaging live oysters and clams including the steps of providing a sealable container, wherein the container includes a plastic tray having an interior volume and an upper peripheral edge, placing the live seafood in the container, and sealing the container with a layer of flexible film including a sheet of flexible sealable film sealed to the upper edge of the tray, the flexible film having an Oxygen Transmission Rate (OTR) of at least 1500.
Apparatus and process for packaging a product
A process for packaging a product (P) arranged in a support (4) comprising unrolling a film (10a), transversely cutting the unrolled portion of film (10a) and preparing cut film sheets (18), moving the cut film sheets (18) to a packaging assembly (8) defining at its inside a packaging chamber (24), progressively moving a number of supports (4) inside the packaging chamber (24) of a packaging assembly (8), keeping the packaging chamber (24) open for a time sufficient for a number of supports (4) and for a corresponding number of film sheets (18) to properly position inside said packaging chamber (24), hermetically closing the packaging chamber (24) with the film sheets held above the respective support (4) and at a distance sufficient to allow gas circulation inside the support (4), optionally causing one or both of: a gas withdrawal from the hermetically closed packaging chamber (24) and gas injection of a gas mixture of controlled composition, heat sealing the film sheet (18) to said support (4), wherein the cutting of the film (10a) into film sheets (18) takes place outside the packaging chamber (24) at a station remote from the location where the film sheets are coupled to the supports. An apparatus (1) for performing the above process is also disclosed.
PACKAGING APPARATUS
Packaging apparatus, such as a tray sealer, with a gas supply arrangement enabling a flushing gas to be conducted between a flushing gas outlet (26) and a flushing gas inlet (14) which are relatively moveable. The flushing gas inlet is positioned above the flushing gas outlet. The gas supply arrangement includes a barrel (20) connected to the inlet (14) and sliding in a sleeve connected to the outlet (26). In a first predetermined relative position of the flushing gas outlet and flushing gas inlet a fluid flow connection is established between the flushing gas outlet and flushing gas inlet. In a second predetermined relative position the flushing gas inlet and flushing gas outlet are disconnected and liquid may drain from the barrel (20).
Sealing foil liners to containers
An apparatus for sealing a foil liner to a container. The apparatus comprises a seal head that includes a body having a first end, a second end, and an axis extending through the first and second ends. The body further includes a sealing surface at the second end thereof facing away from the first end. The seal head further includes fluid path(s) for passing fluid through and out of the seal head and onto the foil liner. A method for sealing a foil liner to a container is also provided wherein a sealing surface of a seal head is aligned with a sealing surface of the container, wherein a peripheral edge of the foil liner is disposed between the sealing surfaces of the seal head and the container. Fluid is then passed through fluid path(s) in the seal head and out of the seal head and onto the foil liner.
