Commercial granular material dispensing apparatus, method, and system
A device, system, and method are provided for grinding, dispensing, and packaging a granular material into a receptacle to be obtained by a user. The device can include: a user interface; a canister comprising a dispensing mechanism and a grinder; a packaging system configured to physically manipulate and position a receptacle within the device, thereby eliminating the need for manual handling by the user; a receptacle-storage configured to house a plurality of receptacles and from which the packaging system can obtain a receptacle; a capping station configured to apply a covering onto a filled receptacle to prevent spillage and waste; an inventory database to store inventory information; a communication system to facilitate internet connectivity; and a recommendation system to recommend various recipes to the user. The description also discloses a system of interconnected kiosks for automatically grinding, dispensing, and packaging granular materials.
CONTAINER SUPPLY DEVICE AND CONTAINER SUPPLY METHOD
A container supply device includes a guide plate that guides stacking of a plurality of lids in a vertical direction, a lower claw capable of advancing/retreating and mounting a first container located at the lowermost position in a plurality of stacked containers, an upper claw capable of advancing/retreating and including a recess into which a flange portion of a second container sequentially stacked on the first container in the plurality of stacked containers is inserted, and a suction pad that adsorbs and separates the first container from the second container in a state where the second container is supported by the upper claw.
DEVICE FOR PROCESSING PHARMACEUTICAL CONTAINERS, AND FILLING DEVICE
An apparatus for processing pharmaceutical containers, in particular vials, syringes or carpules, and a filling device for filling pharmaceutical containers. The apparatus includes a frame that can be positioned on a set-down surface and has a surface, a first side and a second side, a processing station, and a transport device arranged between the first side and the second side, with circulating holding elements for the containers which move along a transport direction on a transport segment and counter to the transport direction on a return segment. The processing station is arranged at the transport segment, and the transport segment and the return segment are arranged above the surface. The transport plane is inclined by an angle of inclination relative to a plane of the surface and/or a horizontal plane, and the transport segment is arranged above the return segment in the direction of gravity.
ROBOTIC FILLING SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Systems and methods are disclosed, which permit filling containers with a product. A filling arm is disposed within a chamber and an optical sensor is configured to sense openings of the containers within the chamber. Locations of the sensed openings are used to guide the filling arm to fill the containers with a product.
CONTAINER AND VALVE FOR A CONTAINER
Valve, comprising a base element and a snap ring or snap fingers extending there from, positioned around an opening through the base element, wherein within the snap ring or between the snap fingers a valve housing is provided, having at least one inlet opening and a spring loaded valve body, biased towards the base element and closing off the opening, wherein the valve body is operable through the opening for opening a fluid connection between the inlet opening or openings and the opening in the base element.
Method and Apparatus for Gripping and Holding Dispensing Elements, Having a Flange and a Screw Cap, for Subsequent Application onto Packages
A method and apparatus are represented and described for gripping and holding dispensing elements, having a flange and a screw cap, for subsequent application onto packages, wherein the dispensing elements are linearly supplied to the apparatus in an aligned position and wherein each dispensing element is gripped individually by gripper jaws of a gripping device and is applied by means of its flange onto a package. In order that an applicator with smaller structural height can, even in the case of higher speeds, also reliably provide packages comprising an oblique gable with a dispensing elements, the following steps are provided: raising each gripping device into a start position above the supplied dispensing elements, lowering each gripping device with opened gripper jaws from their highest position to a dispensing element provided therebelow, wherein the transport speed of the gripping device and the transport belt are synchronised, pulling a dispensing element with opened gripper jaws to a flat delivery region, gripping a dispensing element by closing the gripper jaws, lowering each gripping device with gripped dispensing element to a package transported therebelow in an application position, pressing the dispensing element onto the package for a predefined time, and releasing the applied dispensing element and raising each gripping device to receive a newly-supplied dispensing element.
Device for placing screw caps in containers
A device for placing threaded lids on containers includes a holder for lids to be placed and a mechanism for retaining the lids stored in the holder. The retaining mechanism has a predetermined retaining position in which the lids stored in the holder are retained and a release position in which one of the lids stored in the holder is dispensed. The device also includes a lid positioner, which places a threaded lid on a container through a first rotation about a first axis when the positioner is in the placing position. When the position is in the receiving position, the positioner causes the retaining mechanism to change from the predetermined retaining position to the release position through rotation about the first axis.
Segmented telescopically adjustable cap passage
A telescopic cap-supply that supplies caps for closing containers includes a cap passage having a length-adjustable section. Adjustment of a length of the length-adjustable section causes the length-adjustable section to transition between an extended state and a collapsed state. First, second, and third segments form the cap passage. Each of these segments is secured to an adjoining segment in such a manner that two adjoining segments are movable relative to each other.
Lidder device
A lidding station for containers, including a conveyor structured and arranged for moving unrestrained containers in a conveyance direction; a lid infeed chute above said conveyor; and first, second and third compression rollers positioned above said conveyor and downstream of said lid infeed chute, and methods for affixing lids to containers.
Robotic filling systems and methods
Systems and methods are disclosed, which permit filling containers with a product. A filling atm is disposed within a chamber and an optical sensor is configured to sense openings of the containers within the chamber. Locations of the sensed openings are used to guide the filling atm to fill the containers with a product.
