Assembling apparatus
An assembling apparatus efficiently performs a recovery operation and a parts size change operation. A filling line (the assembling apparatus) has parts supply units that supply parts, assembling units that mount one of the parts to another part, and a conveying unit that individually moves carriers 12 capable of storing parts constituting an assembly. The parts supply units are provided at positions away from the assembling units, the assembling units are accommodated in an isolator having an interior maintained in an aseptic state, and gloves to perform an operation on the assembling units are provided on a side surface of the isolator. The supply units store the parts in one of the carriers, the carrier then moves into the isolator, and the assembling units take the part from the carrier, and mounts the part to the other part stored in the same carrier.
Pharmaceutical Packaging System and Method of Manufacturing Same
A pharmaceutical packaging system includes a substrate having a first surface, a first hollow cavity accessible through a first opening in the first surface, and a second hollow cavity accessible through a second opening in the first surface. The first and second hollow cavities are spaced apart and isolated from one another on the substrate. A cover is attached to at least a first portion of the first surface of the substrate surrounding the first opening and a second portion of the first surface of the substrate surrounding the second opening so as to provide a first seal for the first hollow cavity and a second seal for the second hollow cavity. At least one orally-administered medicament is contained within one of the first and second hollow cavities, and a first topically-applied medicament is contained within the other of the first and second hollow cavities.
DIMENSIONALLY VARIABLE LID MANUFACTURING METHOD AND DIMENSIONALLY VARIABLE LID MANUFACTURING DEVICE
A first scoreline, and a perforated line along which a lid can be severed are formed beforehand in a lid sheet. The portion of the lid sheet along its first adjustment side is cut off in a strip shape by a first cutter. The portion of the lid sheet along its second adjustment side is cut off in a strip shape by a second cutter.
PACKAGING APPARATUS AND PROCESS
In an apparatus and a packaging process of capsules with an opening closed by a laminar lid obtained by cutting a strip, the ability of transporting the laminar lids in several lines is introduced, reducing the overall dimensions. The apparatus includes: a cutting device with a mechanism defining a portion of the strip where the strip is tensioned in a respective cutting plane, and one or more punches obtaining the laminar lids from the strip; a carousel-like transfer device, having transfer members movable along a closed path, with gripping heads configured to receive respective laminar lids from the cutting device. The cutting plane is in a vertical position, and the mutual position of the cutting device and the transfer device defines a gripping spot of the closed path, the laminar lids being retained in the transfer members on a respective plane in a vertical position.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING A PACKAGE
A method for producing a package comprising a formed part having at least one product cavity, and a lidding film covering the at least one product cavity, comprises the steps of: (a) defining a seam; (b) dividing the seam into a plurality of sections; (c) determining a pull-off force for pulling the lidding film from the formed part at least for a first section; and (d) sealing the lidding film to the formed part by means of a sealing device, wherein at least one first sealing temperature is selected for the first section based on the pull-off force determined according to step (c).
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PRODUCING AND INSPECTING A PACKAGE
A method for producing and inspecting a package comprising at least one product cavity of a formed part sealed by a lidding film comprises the steps of: (a) sealing the lidding film to the formed part along a seam by means of a sealing device, which comprises a sealing contour with a plurality of segments; (b) detecting, by means of the sealing device, a parameter characteristic of the sealing quality of the seam in each segment; and (c) detecting a problem with the sealing according to step (a) based on the parameter detected according to step (b) in each segment.
Packaging for automated closure and process therefor
The closure adapted to cover a container aperture defines a retention projection dimensioned to be received in a retention aperture in a wall of the container. An insertion surface on the projection avoids the closure being impeded by an edge of the wall. The projection defines a disengagement surface to remove the projection from the retention aperture and defines a registering surface opposite the registering surface. The closure may be fitted agnostic to the rotational alignment of the closure relative to wall and then twisted relative to the container until resistance is provided by the registering surfaces engaging Automated closure requires only two degrees of movement and only two force sensors.
METHOD, DEVICE AND SYSTEM FOR FILLING PHARMACEUTICAL CONTAINERS
The present invention involves both an apparatus and an associated method for confirming the presence or absence of closures in a closure nest inside an aseptic chamber. The apparatus comprises a topographical profiler disposed to monitor the closure nests. Vertical displacements in topographical maps obtained by the profiler are compared with information from a database about the nest and closure combinations. Vertical displacements falling outside predetermined upper and lower bounds are deemed absences of closures. The topographical profiler may be disposed outside the aseptic chamber. The system may be automated via a controller and suitable software. In some embodiments the nests and disposed in the monitored area by robotic articulated arms. In other embodiments the closure nests are moved by vacuum pickup systems. The system and method may also be employed to assess the suitability of a closure nest for closing in an aseptic chamber containers in a container nest.
HIGH SPEED TELESCOPIC FITTING OF A TRAY AND HOOD
A process for packaging a product in which a hood is fitted to a tray. The hood top is oriented at an angle relative to the machine direction in which the tray is being conveyed. The hood is engaged with the tray by initiating contact between a leading panel of the hood with the tray while the leading panel is moving before engaging the trailing panel with the tray. As the tray is conveyed in the machine direction, the tray captures a hood by the leading panel of the hood and the remainder of the hood is subsequently fitted to the tray.
Lid pick and place system and method of use thereof
A lid pick and place system having a primary magazine assembly and a pick and place assembly. The primary magazine assembly includes a base plate and at least one guide rod extending therefrom to define an elongated lid chamber with at least one lid bore. Rotation of the at least one guide rod within the at least one guide rod bore directs at least a portion of a lower offset flange beyond a lid bore perimeter and into a path of the elongated lid chamber. The pick and place assembly includes a connecting rod with a suction cup. A linear movement assembly is structurally configured to move the connecting rod linearly closer and further from the lower surface of the base plate. A rotative movement assembly structurally configured to rotate the connecting rod relative to the lower surface of the base plate.
