Cap-closing apparatus, cap-closing unit and cap-closing method
According to an embodiment, a cap-closing apparatus includes, a holding mechanism section configured to be capable of holding a cap which is attached to an opening of a specimen container that is formed to be capable of containing a specimen, a moving mechanism section configured to move the cap, a rotating mechanism section configured to rotate the cap, a torque detector configured to detect a torque at a time of rotation, and a controller configured to control an amount of rotation of the rotating mechanism section, based on the torque detected by the torque detector.
Pressure reinforced deformable plastic container with hoop rings
A plastic container comprises an upper portion including a finish adapted to receive a closure, a lower portion including a base, and a sidewall extending between the upper portion and the lower portion. The upper portion, the lower portion, and the sidewall define an interior volume for storing liquid contents. The plastic container further comprises a pressure panel located on the container and moveable between an initial position and an activated position. The pressure panel is located in the initial position prior to filling the container, and is moved to the activated position after filling and sealing the container. Moving the pressure panel from the initial position to the activated position reduces the internal volume of the container and creates a positive pressure inside the container. The positive pressure reinforces the sidewall. A method of processing a container is also disclosed.
Closure system for containers and related container and process for the realization
A closure system and method of forming containers comprising a closing element. The closing element is integrally sealable to the container at one of the openings to be closed, and a preferential separation zone between the container and the closing element, the closure system comprising a first guiding and/or coupling portion for guiding and controlling the movement of the closing element from a first blocking position, wherein the closing element is integral to the container, to a second unblocking position, wherein the closing element is separated from the container via the preferential separation zone. The closure system further includes a first thread on the insert and a second thread formed within the closing element.
Back-off preventing resealable adhesives
Adhesive compositions that replace gaskets and liners in sealing applications for packages that are detachable with hand force are described. The adhesive compositions are particularly useful in preventing leaks and spillage during storage and transport of its packaged contents. Advantageously, the adhesive composition provides packages with (1) a removal torque of from about 4 to about 20 in-lb and (2) resealable torque on subsequent openings of from about 2 to about 15 in-lb, measured in accordance to ASTM D2063.
POLYMERIC SPIRITS CONTAINER
A container configured to store spirits or mixers for spirits therein. The container is made of a polymeric material and has a capacity of at least one liter. A finish of the container and a maximum outer diameter of the container are dimensioned to permit the container to be filled with equipment configured to fill 750 ml glass spirits containers.
Packaging system and use thereof
The packaging system according to the invention comprises a container (1), which includes a neck (2) defining an axis (X-X), and a stopper (10) for closing the neck, which includes a skirt (12) adapted to be fastened removably around the neck. In order to quickly and easily check that the stopper is positioned correctly on the neck when the container is closed, the invention provides means for visually checking that the system is in a closed configuration, predetermined afterwards by applying a preset stress for having the skirt cooperate with the neck, said means comprise both: first indicators (20, 22) of the angular position around the axis between the neck and the skirt, said first indicators being respectively borne by the neck and the skirt and being designed to be arranged with an angular spacing between them which is substantially equal to a first predetermined value when the packaging system is in the closed configuration, and second indicators (21, 23) of the position along the axis between the skirt and the neck, said second indicators being separate from the first indicators, borne respectively by the neck and by the skirt, and designed to be arranged parallel to each other with an axial spacing () between them which is below a second predetermined value when the packaging system is in the closed configuration.
Assembly machine adapted to assemble caps onto spouts and a method of assembling caps onto spouts
The present invention relates to an assembly machine adapted to assemble caps (3) onto spouts (2) and a method of assembling caps onto spouts, wherein use is made of such an assembly machine. The assembly machine comprises a spout supply (10), a cap supply (20) and a frame comprising a cap guide arc (30). The frame further comprises a turret assembly (40) comprising a circular spout transporter (41), a cap positioning element (42) provided above the cap guide arc (30) and a cap assembly unit (43) provided above the spout transporter (41). The cap assembly unit (43) is adapted to pick up the cap at a pick-up position (C) and assemble the cap onto the spout at an assembly position (D).
Container with Pour Spout
A container includes a neck finish extending from a body and having at least two thickened wall portions circumferentially spaced apart and extending radially inwardly, and including interior surfaces disposed radially inwardly of a neck finish interior surface to at least partially establish an internal trough, and axially facing shoulders axially recessed with respect to a sealing lip of the neck finish.
