Interactive closure device and beverage container
An interactive beverage container includes a beverage container that defines an opening which may be sealed by a closure. The closure may further include circuity that is configured to transmit data to a mobile device. When the closure is in a closed configuration with the closure attached to the opening, the circuitry does not transmit data to the mobile device and when the closure is in an open configuration with the closure removed from the opening, the circuitry transmits data to the mobile device. The data may include nutritional information, marketing materials, videos, track loyalty programs, and/or provide games or contests.
DOUBLE-HEADED TUBE STRUCTURE
A double-headed tube structure comprises a tube body, a first tube head, an annular retaining member and a second tube head. The first tube head and a first end portion of the tube body are hermetically connected together. A second end portion of the tube body is sleeved on an outer circumference of the annular retaining member. The second end portion of the tube body, the annular retaining member and the second tube head are hermetically connected together. The annular retaining member communicates with the tube body and the second tube head. The first and second tube heads are sealedly welded at both ends of the tube body by a two-step forming process. Through the annular retaining member, the tube body is not deformed in the two-step forming process, thereby improving the welding and sealing effect.
Product order dosing filler systems and related methods
A method may include filling an order of a plurality of orders with a dosing filler system. The method may include receiving pharmaceutical orders including order for drugs used in multi-drug regimens using an order processing device. Each of the multi-drug regimen may have a plurality of scheduled dosing events. The method may include transporting containers to a dosing device, using the dosing device to dispense drugs for scheduled dosing events into the containers based on the received pharmaceutical orders, transporting the containers with the dispensed drugs to the container sealing device, using the container sealing device to seal the plurality of the containers with the dispensed drugs, transporting the dosage unit containers to the container identifier assembly, and using the container identifier assembly to identify the dosage unit containers based on the received pharmaceutical order.
Test tube capping and de-capping apparatus
An apparatus (100) for automated capping and de-capping of test tubes (112) having an ejector pin (230) system for individualized cap (113) ejection.
STABLE PARENTERAL DOSAGE FORM OF PYRAZOLONE DERIVATIVE
Edaravone, in the United States, is approved in the form of ready-to-use intravenous solution for infusion, RADICAVA. RADICAVA injection is supplied in a polypropylene bag overwrapped with polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) secondary packaging. Edaravone is susceptible to oxidation and the overwrapped package also contains an oxygen absorber and oxygen indicator to minimize oxidation. Various efforts have been put in the art for packaging edaravone drug solution in different types of packaging materials, for example, plastic containers and glass bottles to prevent edaravone from oxidation and other degradation. The present invention involves use of simple and economic container-closure system for packaging edaravone drug solution while maintaining its stability during storage, transportation and use which includes glass bottles or vials and closures made of elastic polymer or rubber (for example elastomer, isoprene rubber or butyl rubber and the like).
Polymeric Spirits Container
A method for filling a container configured to store spirits or drink mixers therein. The method includes: arranging the container on a filling line configured to fill 750 ml glass containers, the container is a polymeric container having a capacity of at least 1 liter, the container including: a finish defining an opening, a body, a neck and a shoulder between the finish the body, and a base including a standing surface; and filling the container with a spirit or drink mixer using equipment set to fill 750 ml glass spirits containers. The container has a maximum outer diameter between about 2.5 inches and about 3.5 inches. The finish has an inner diameter at the opening of between about 0.65 inches to about 0.85 inches, thereby configuring the finish to accept a pour spout of a 750 ml glass spirits container.
Capping and de-capping apparatus and a method of operating such an apparatus
A capping and de-capping apparatus (100) for capping and de-capping tubes (112) disposed in a tube holding rack (111) having a two-dimensional array of apertures (114) for holding the tubes (112). The apparatus (100) comprises a rack support (110) for supporting the tube holding rack (111), a head unit (120) adapted for carrying a cartridge (152) comprising at least one capping and de-capping gripper (122), a drive system (130) for moving the rack support (110) and the head unit (120) relatively towards and away from one another, in order to cause engagement or disengagement of the capping and de-capping gripper (122) with or from a cap (113) of at least one tube (112), and a drive system (140) for rotating the capping and de-capping gripper (122), wherein rotation in one direction causes attachment of the cap (113) to the tube (112) and rotation in the opposite direction causes detachment of the cap (113) from said tube (112).
DEVICES FOR CAPPING VIALS USEFUL IN SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DISPENSING PRESCRIPTIONS
An apparatus for securing a cap on a cylindrical container includes: a stage including a receiving region for separately receiving a cap and a container; and an elevator movable upwardly away from the stage and downwardly toward the stage. The elevator includes: a carrier disposed over the stage; a capturing member on the carrier and configured to capture the cap; and at least one extendable member extending from the carrier, the at least one extendable member movable from a home position with the extendable member above a center of the cap and an engagement position with the extendable member engaging the center of the cap and urging the center of the cap downwardly relative to an outer sidewall of the cap.
Plastic neck outsert for metal beverage container
A metal bottle assembly adapted for use on a plastic bottling includes a metal bottle with an outsert assembled on the neck portion of the bottle. The outsert may be constructed from plastic material and may be fixed to the bottle using an interference fit. The outsert enables the bottle to be placed on a plastic bottling line with minimal or no modifications to the bottling line. The outsert also ensures that the metal bottle is not damaged by handling on the plastic bottling line. In some embodiments, the outsert is designed to elastically deform as it is pressed on the neck of a pre-formed metal bottle and therefore create the interference fit between the outsert and the bottle. In some embodiments the outsert is retained on the neck of the bottle through the interference fit alone.
Method of packaging water-reactive aluminum
A method of packaging water-reactive aluminum may include directing at least one discrete object into a container, the at least one discrete object including an aluminum alloy, the aluminum alloy plastically deformed and non-recrystallized, introducing, into the container, a liquid metal alloy including one or more activation metals, enclosing the at least one discrete object and the liquid metal alloy with one another in the container to form a kit, for a predetermined period, exposing the kit to a heating environment, and agitating the at least one discrete object and the liquid metal alloy in the container in the heating environment during the predetermined period to form the kit into a packaged unit of water-reactive aluminum.
