The medicine passage includes: an inlet that is configured to allow the medicine to enter from above therethrough; an outlet that is configured to allow the medicine to exit downward therethrough; and a communication part that is configured to communicate the inlet and the outlet with each other. The inlet and the outlet are provided as separate bodies from each other. The communication part is provided as a separate body from the inlet and the outlet and is connected to the inlet and the outlet so as to be positionally adjustable.

Furthermore, the method may include sealing a second film to the first film to define first and second pluralities of pouches, folding the carrier sheet so that each of the first plurality of pouches overlaps a corresponding one of the second plurality of pouches, and sealing together overlapping portions of the carrier sheet.

The disclosure describes a thermoforming machine, which can include a horizontal intermittent motion thermoforming machine, and a mold, wherein the mold contains a plurality of pocket forming cavities in a 2-dimensional array. These cavities can each be defined by side walls and a base, and each cavity can be surrounded by a planar surface of the mold on all sides. Further, the cavities can be positioned in the array so as to provide a plurality of continuous strips of uninterrupted planar surface of the mold from a leading to a trailing edge of the mold. These cavities can have rounded bottom corners, formed where the side walls meet the base, and rounded edges, formed where side walls meet an upper surface of the mold. The thermoforming machine can be further configured to be able to draw a web of water-soluble film down into the cavities.

A method and apparatus for formation, filling, and sealing unit dose packages for consumer products are described herein. A filling system with a filling control system is also disclosed. Although the filling system is described in conjunction with a method for forming, filling, and sealing unit dose packages, the filling system and filling control system can be used in other dispensing processes.

The web includes a carrier sheet including first and second pluralities of depressions, a first plurality of pouches, and a second plurality of pouches. Each of the pouches is positioned in a respective depression in the carrier sheet. The first plurality of pouches contain a first cleaning composition, and the second plurality of pouches contain a second cleaning composition. A first end of the carrier sheet is folded over a second end of the carrier sheet so that each multi-dose cleaning product is defined by at least an overlapping pair of the first and second pouches and an overlapping pair of the first and second depressions.

The blister assembly further comprises at least one discontinuity (142) formed in the first and second layers in the region of the first portion of the seal, such that a shear force is required to delaminate the first and second layers in that region.
