A THERMOFORMING PACKAGING MACHINE
The invention is directed to a thermoforming packaging machine (1) for producing sealed packages (2) having a planar surface (3) and a shaped recess (4) comprising a sealing station (6) with a lower sealing tool (7) comprising of a first part (8) provided with a first seal seam support (8a) for supporting a first sealed seam (9) at the outer perimeter (10) of the planar surface (3) of the moulded product (2a) and a second part (11) provided with a second support (11a) provided with a seal seam support opening (12). The second support (11a) supports a second sealed seam (12a) on the planar surface (3) of the moulded product (2a) following the perimeter (13) of the shaped recess (4). The first part (8) and the second part (11) are separate parts which are detachable connected.
SURGICAL-IMPLEMENT COUNT AND CAPTURE SYSTEM
A surgical-implement count and capture system including a carrier tape having a plurality of spaced-apart receiving areas disposed longitudinally along the carrier tape. Each of the plurality of spaced-apart receiving areas being configured to receive a surgical-implement. The carrier tape is configured to follow a first pathway. A deposit station is located along the first pathway and is adapted to accommodate deposition of a plurality of the surgical-implements respectively into successive ones of the spaced-apart receiving areas when resident at the deposit station. A counting station is located along the first pathway downstream of the deposit station. The counting station includes a sensor adapted to detect the plurality of the surgical-implements in the respective receiving areas.
Carrier tape system and components and methods of use
The current disclosure describes carrier tape systems, which include a cover tape having adhesion areas and non-adhesion areas which are substantially free of adhesive. Methods for supplying semiconductor devices to an apparatus, which in operation, places the semiconductor devices at desired locations are also described. Methods of forming a semiconductor device carrier system are also described.
Apparatus and method for vacuum skin packaging of a product
A method and apparatus can be used for vacuum skin packaging of a product. The product can be arranged on a support comprising providing a film sheet above the support with the product being arranged between the support and the film sheet. The film sheet can be air tightly fixed to the support. The wall of the support can be perforated to form at least one through hole. At least a portion of air from within the support underneath the film sheet can be removed through the at least one hole. A packaged product is obtainable using the method and apparatus.
Method for Packaging and Processing Food Products
A method for packaging and processing products in a continuously operating production line, including filling individual packaging containers with products in a filling station; dispensing the filled containers to an individualizing device in multiple tracks by a dispensing station, the individualizing device transferring the packaging containers onto a single track of a conveyor; transporting the containers by the conveyor one after another to at least one additional processing station and operating the individualizing device in one of three operating modes, dependent upon the respective situation:
a) a normal mode in which the packaging containers are transferred from the dispensing station onto the single track of the conveyor,
b) an on-stock mode in which the packaging containers are transferred from the dispensing station to a temporary store, and
c) a low-load mode in which the packaging containers are transferred from the temporary store onto the single track of the conveyor.
Device for packaging products and array of packaged products
A method for packaging products, such as candies, wherein the products are positioned on a first sheet which is continuously moved in a transport direction, wherein the products are covered by a second sheet which is continuously moved in the same transport direction and which is aligned substantially plane-parallel to the first sheet, and wherein the first and second sheets are sealed together near the outer edges of the individual products or grouped products by a sealing device, wherein the sealing device comprises sealing ribs extending substantially transversely to the transport direction on one side of the moving sheets, wherein said sealing ribs are being moved at the same speed as the sheets and the sealing ribs seal the first and second sheets together in between the moving products.
Film to film packaging solution for sterilized nonwoven fabric products
A product and method for reducing tensile strength loss associated with sterilization of the product by ionizing radiation sterilization methods is provided. The method includes providing a package that includes a layer having an oxygen transmission rate equal to or less than about 10 cubic centimeters of oxygen per 100 inches squared per 24 hours; providing a product in the package's interior; applying a vacuum to the exterior of the package in a controlled atmosphere until a vacuum pressure equal to or less than about 250 millibars is achieved; flushing the interior of the package with an inert gas until an inert gas flush pressure equal to or less than about 750 millibars is achieved; sealing the package; releasing the vacuum applied in the controlled atmosphere; and sterilizing the package/product with radiation. The resulting product has a reduction in its tensile strength of less than about 18.5% after sterilization.
BLISTER PACKAGING MACHINE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING BLISTER PACK
A blister packaging machine manufactures a blister pack including a pocket portion formed in a container film of a belt-like shape and a cover film that closes the pocket portion. The blister packaging machine includes: a conveyor that conveys the container film; a preheater that preheats the container film conveyed by the conveyor; a pocket portion former that forms the pocket portion in the container film softened by the preheater; and a support belt that moves in synchronism with the container film conveyed by the conveyor while supporting a part of the container film other than the pocket portion or a part of the container film other than an area where the pocket portion is to be formed, in at least a location from the preheater to a position downstream of the pocket portion former.
BLISTER PACK DEVICE AND METHOD
A container forming apparatus includes a plurality of forming members that have outer forming surfaces, which are shaped to form pockets in a sheet of material. A plurality of actuators are in mechanical connection with the forming members. The actuators are able to extend and retract the forming members. A controller is in electrical communication with the plurality of actuators. The controller is able to simultaneously extend any one or any combination of the forming members to create a plurality of pockets in a determined pattern in the sheet of material to produce a customized blister pack.
