Array or bandoleer of packaged products
The invention relates to a packaged product or group of products, such as a candy, wherein said product or group of products has an elongated form, wherein the package comprises at least one film which encloses said product or group of products, and wherein part of said film extends from at least one outer end of the product or group of products, and wherein said part of the film is bent away from the direction of the axis of the elongated product or group of products back towards a part of the film that surrounds the product and is bonded therewith. The invention also relates to an easy opening arrangement for packaged products, and to an array or bandoleer of products with reduced packaging material.
INSPECTION DEVICE, BLISTER PACKAGING MACHINE, AND BLISTER SHEET MANUFACTURING METHOD
An inspection device includes: an illumination device that irradiates an object with near-infrared light; a spectroscope that disperses reflected light from the object irradiated with the near-infrared light; an imaging device that takes a spectroscopic image of the reflected light dispersed by the spectroscope; and a processor. The processor obtains spectral data at a plurality of points on the object based on the spectroscopic image obtained by the imaging device, selects, from among the spectral data at the plurality of points, a group having a highest density of luminance values of a predetermined wavelength component as a dense spectral data group, and performs a predetermined analysis for the object based on the dense spectral data group and detects a different type of object.
Smart Pack System for Medicines
Disclosed is a blister pack smart dispensing package that has an overlay with conductors located over blister pack pockets that are broken when a user retrieves a solid medication, such as a pill, from the blister pack. The date and time that the user retrieved the solid medication from the smart pack is recorded by an electronics and communications package on the smart pack. A local communications device then receives this adherence data and transmits this data to a server, which generates a data structure containing adherence data. A blister pack overlay can be used which changes colors to indicate that the medication is about to expire, or has expired.
Individual blister pack, packaging machine and method for producing an individual blister pack
The disclosure relates to an individual blister packaging for drug administration, in particular a blister card, comprising a carrier, wherein the carrier has a plurality of recesses arranged in a matrix-like manner, and a cover film for closing the filled recesses, wherein at least two recesses are provided substantially independently from each other and, in particular, are connected to one another only by the cover film and/or a defined number of connection points.
Inspection device and PTP packaging machine
An inspection device for inspecting an inspection object portion in a PTP sheet, the inspection device including: an irradiator that irradiates the inspection object portion with light; an imaging device that takes an image of the inspection object portion irradiated with the light; a processor that detects a defect in the inspection object portion from the taken image by using a predetermined luminance threshold value, and determines whether the inspection object portion is non-defective; a verification image generating circuit that generates a verification image in which a virtual defective image is placed in a non-defective image; and a threshold value verifier that causes the processor to determine whether the inspection object portion is non-defective or defective by using the verification image, in place of the image taken by the imaging device, and to verify the luminance threshold value based on a determination result by the processor.
PHARMACEUTICAL PACKS COMPRISING HOLOGRAPHIC LIDDING MATERIAL, AND METHOD OF MAKING THE SAME
A pharmaceutical pack and the method for making the same are provided. The pharmaceutical pack includes a blister layer and a lidding sheet disposed over the blister layer. The blister layer defines at least one opening. The lidding sheet includes a first layer and optionally a second layer. The first layer includes at least one hologram, and is disposed on the second layer, which is a plastic film. The blister layer and the lidding sheet define at least one cavity so as to hold at least one pharmaceutical dosage form therein.
Weight marking monitoring for packages
A packaging assembly including a sealing station for sealing a product with at least one film web, wherein a printer is provided upstream of the sealing station and configured to print information, in particular a product weight and an associated retail price, onto the film web or onto a label, which may already be present on the film web, wherein, upstream of the sealing station, a forward weighing device is provided and configured to detect a weight value of a product and forward it to a control unit. The packaging assembly is characterized in that the control unit controls the printer for printing-on the information depending on the detected weight value, and that, downstream of the sealing station, at least a first inspection device is provided to read the information on the imprint. A method for making the packaging assembly is also included.
Reduction in stress cracking of films
Methods and packages for storing film strips while reducing or eliminating stress cracking during storage, including use of packages having an inner surface made from polymeric materials exhibiting various physical properties and including films and pouches that are annealed.
PTP packaging machine
A PTP packaging machine includes: a filler that fills a predetermined content into pocket portions formed in a strip-shaped container film; a sealer that is provided on a downstream side of the filler and mounts a strip-shaped cover film to the container film to close the pocket portions and obtain a strip-shaped PTP film including the cover film mounted to the container film; and a puncher that is provided on a downstream side of the sealer and punches out an expected sheet portion of the PTP film that is a region of eventually forming a predetermined PTP sheet and thereby obtain the PTP sheet.
Methods and systems for pallet sizing and pucking
A pharmaceutical order filling system uses pucks disposed on a pallet to accommodate a plurality of container sizes into which pharmaceuticals can be dispensed. An order processing device receives a pharmaceutical order and identifies a size of container into which a pharmaceutical in the pharmaceutical order should be dispensed. A pallet sizing and pucking device is configured: to configure a pallet with a plurality of pucks adapted to accommodate containers and to configure the pucks on a pallet in a manner that will facilitate efficient fulfillment of the pharmaceutical order.
