PACKAGING MACHINE
A packaging machine and apparatus for forming and filling plastic bags for containing dry food products such as cereals or the like. The invention comprising a product dispensing port over which a film enveloping the port may pass and an inner passage through which a product may be dispensed. The dispensing port comprises a pair of opposing flaps pivotally coupled to the outlet of the dispensing port which are movable between an open and a closed position.
PACKAGING MACHINE FOR PRODUCING AND FILLING MULTIPLE TYPES OF BAGS
Packaging machine that can produce and fill bags, both flat and welded on three sides, with minimum demands for machine modifications in case of transition from producing and filling one type of bag to producing and filling another type of bag.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING POUCHED TOBACCO PRODUCT
In a method and apparatus for producing a small pouch with a predetermined amount of particulate material therein, a predetermined amount of the particulate material is portioned from a bulk supply and compacted into a single discrete caplet. The caplet is then deposited into an open hollow pouch closed at one end thereof, and the open end is then closed with the caplet between the closed ends of the pouch. The caplet in the pouch is then compressed to return it to its particulate form. The particulate material may be granular or shredded tobacco.

Form-fill-seal machine including a filling tube with at least a partially elliptical cross-section
An apparatus and method for reducing stress marks and pleats on a package. The apparatus includes the use of an elongated filling tube. The dimensions of the elongated filling tube reduce the stress on the film as it is being formed around the filling tube. Further, the dimensions of the elongated filling tube prevent the formation of pleats as the sealing jaws must travel a decreased distance to seal, and the filling tube cross section better resembles the final package.

QUICK DROP AND DRINK NUTRITION AND MACHINE FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME
The packet for providing nutrients to a person is disclosed. The packet may be inserted into a bottle of water at which time, a film of the packet begins to dissolve and allow the water to seep into the packet. When the water seeps into the packet, the water dissolves the film from the inside out so that the film dissolves from the outside in and inside out to reduce the time required to completely dissolve the film. Moreover, the bottle of water can be closed so that the user can shake the bottle of water and allow the powdered nutrient in the packet to rub against the film and further reduce the time required to completely dissolve the film and also dispersed the powdered nutrient in the water. The powdered nutrient may have a rate of dissolution that is slower than the film so that the powdered nutrient can run and cause friction against the film throughout the entire period of time water bottle was shaken.
