MANUAL BINDING TOOL
20190210749 · 2019-07-11 ·

A manual bundling tool has a first operating means that positionally shifts relative to a tool body opposite a handle. A tightening mechanism pulls an other end of a cable tie band in relative to a head part by positionally shifting the first operating means. A holding mechanism holds the other end side of the band part pulled by the tightening mechanism so as to prevent return movement. A second operating means positionally shifts relative to the tool body. A securing mechanism secures the other end side of the band part to the one end side of the band part in response to positionally shifting the second operating means. A release operation means positionally shifts relative to the tool body and a release mechanism releases the hold on the cable tie band part by the holding mechanism in response to a positionally shifting the release operation means.

Triggerless cable tie tension and cut tool

A tool for installing a cable tie has an axial length with no hand grip or trigger projecting laterally from the length of the tool and the tool is activated electronically by a push button to pull the tail of the cable tie and then cut the tail from the cable tie adjacent the head of the cable tie.

Bone fixation assembly
10307196 · 2019-06-04 · ·

A bone fixation system includes at least one bone fixation member and a bone fixation instrument. The bone fixation member includes a strap and a locking mechanism. The strap can be pulled through the locking mechanism so as to form a loop about a target bone so as to secure first and second bone segments in an approximated, compressed configuration. The bone fixation instrument is configured to apply tension to the loop about the target bone. The fixation instrument includes a tension assembly that is configured to secure a free end of the bone fixation member to the fixation instrument. The tension assembly is further configured to pull the free end so as to increase tension in the loop while the tension in the loop is less than a select tension. The tension assembly is unable to further increase tension in the bone fixation member once the tension in the bone fixation member has reached the select tension. The fixation instrument further includes a cutter assembly that is configured to cut the free end of the bone fixation member so as to separate the free end from the loop.

APPARATUS FOR TENSIONING A CABLE LACING TAPE DEVICE

An apparatus for tensioning a cable tape comprises a housing, a drive assembly, a capstan, and an optional cutting device. The drive assembly includes a driving member and a driven member slidably coupled to the driving member. A biasing element is coupled between the driving and the driven member and in a first operating mode, the driving member causes movement of the driven member little or no relative movement between two members. The capstan is rotatably coupled to the housing, and includes a gripping device to grip a cable tape and wrap the cable tape around an outer surface of the capstan as the capstan rotates. In a second operating mode, a tension force applied on the capstan by the cable tape that is greater than the biasing force allows relative movement between the driving member and the driven member.

Feeding Device for Guiding and Providing One-Piece Ties
20240190668 · 2024-06-13 · ·

The disclosure relates to a feeding device for guiding and providing one-piece ties, with a hose unit and a funnel unit. The hose unit is designed to guide a respective one-piece tie in a hose inner via an air flow along the hose unit towards an outlet end of the hose unit and subsequently in an outlet direction out of the outlet end of the hose unit to the funnel unit. The funnel unit is arranged at the outlet end of the hose unit on the hose unit and is designed to receive the respective one-piece tie guided through the hose unit.

CABLE TIE PLIER

A tie plier is provided, which includes a head, a locking assembly, a first and second handle. The first handle is connected to an end of the head, the locking assembly is movably connected to the head, a ratchet assembly is provided on the second handle and is connected with the locking assembly, a reset tension spring is connected between the second handle and the head, a jaw is provided on the head and is arranged close to the locking assembly, and a cutting assembly is provided at a side of the jaw. The tie plier can be operated by one hand to tighten the tie. Moreover, the tightening mechanism is compact and simplified in structure, and a holding angle between the first and second handle can be adjusted, thus a one-handed operation can be carried out more conveniently, and tie tightening operations in various special occasions can be made.

MANUAL AUTOMATIC DEVICE FOR FITTING CABLE TIES
20190144149 · 2019-05-16 ·

A manual automatic device configured for fitting cable ties around a bundle of cables or the like. The device includes a control interface allowing the user of the device to choose an operating mode that tightens but does not cut the cable tie and in which the electric motor which drives the cable tie in tension is controlled in reverse rotation to eject the cable tie before cutting. A method for controlling the device is also presented herein.

Surgical string applicator for anastomosis surgery and method of use

A surgical string applicator and method of use for anastomosis surgery are provided. The surgical string applicator includes an elongate shaft, a string applying assembly including a pair of opposing jaws connected to a distal end of the shaft, one or more jaws including one or more grooves along an inner surface of the jaw, each of the grooves configured to receive therein at least a portion of a surgical string, such as a zip-tie, and a string fastening mechanism adapted to engage and fasten the surgical string; and a handle portion connected to the proximal end of the shaft; the handle portion including control mechanisms adapted to open and close at least one of the jaws and to actuate the string fastening mechanism. Further provided is an intra-lumenal position guide to be used together with the surgical string applicator.

MANUAL BINDING TOOL

A manual binding tool has a first operating part opposite a handle unit and is capable of shifting positions relative to the tool body. A tightening mechanism pulls a second end in the lengthwise direction of the cable tie band part relative to a head part via operation of the first operating part. A holding mechanism holds the second end in the lengthwise direction of the band part pulled by the tightening mechanism to prevent a return movement. Second operating parts are provided to shift positions relative to the tool body. A fastening mechanism secures the second end of the band part in response to the operation of the second operating parts. Third operating parts are provided to shift positions relative to the tool body. A cutting mechanism cuts the second end of the band part in the lengthwise direction in response to the operation of the third operating parts.
