A method of packaging a bundle of tobacco industry products, wrapped in a barrier material (5), in a sheet of board material is disclosed. A packaging machine folds the sheet of board material to form a base (3) to contain a bundle, and to form a lid (2) rotatable relative to the base (3) between open and closed positions. The lid (2) has a front wall (11) and a lid front wall flap (15) having a rear face (16) that lies against an inner surface (17) of the lid front wall (11) to enable a label (9), that extends over a section of the barrier material (5) that defines an extraction opening (6), to be adhered to a front face (18) of the lid front wall flap (15) with adhesive so that the section is lifted to open the extraction opening (6) upon rotation of the lid (2) towards its open position. The method includes non-mechanically treating the front face of the lid front wall flap (15) to increase the receptivity of the lid front wall flap (15) to the adhesive used to adhere the label (9) to the front face of the lid front wall flap (15). A pack comprising a bundle of tobacco industry products wrapped in a barrier material (5) and received in a container formed from a sheet of folded board material is also disclosed.

A cigarette pack, having an inner pack for pack contents, in particular for a group of cigarettes, and having an outer pack, preferably in the form of a hinge/lid pack, wherein the inner pack which preferably directly encases the pack contents has lateral walls made of cardboard, which are formed by overlapping lateral tabs of a blank for the inner pack. The invention is characterized in that end corner tabs, which are arranged on both sides of a lid wall of the inner pack, have a respective substantially V-shaped design, and in that each of the end corner tabs is arranged between inner lateral tabs and outer lateral tabs of the lateral walls of the inner pack.

A cigarette pack, having an inner pack for pack contents, in particular for a group of cigarettes, and having an outer pack, preferably in the form of a hinge/lid pack, wherein the inner pack which preferably directly encases the pack contents has lateral walls made of cardboard, which are formed by overlapping lateral tabs of a blank for the inner pack. The invention is characterized in that end corner tabs, which are arranged on both sides of a lid wall of the inner pack, have a respective substantially V-shaped design, and in that each of the end corner tabs is arranged between inner lateral tabs and outer lateral tabs of the lateral walls of the inner pack.

An aroma-tight cigarette pack with an outer pack (12) configured in the form of a hinge-lid box, and also with an inner pack (11) configured in the form of a sealed block with an opening aid which can be used a number of times. The opening aid has a removal opening (51) which extends in a sub-region of an inner front wall (39) and of an adjacent inner end wall (41) and is covered over by a closure label (54) with an adhesively bonding connecting periphery (55). The inner pack (11) has closure seams (37) which are designed in the form of fin seams.

An aroma-tight cigarette pack with an outer pack (12) configured in the form of a hinge-lid box, and also with an inner pack (11) configured in the form of a sealed block with an opening aid which can be used a number of times. The opening aid has a removal opening (51) which extends in a sub-region of an inner front wall (39) and of an adjacent inner end wall (41) and is covered over by a closure label (54) with an adhesively bonding connecting periphery (55). The inner pack (11) has closure seams (37) which are designed in the form of fin seams.

A method for producing a package of smoking articles. The method includes a) wrapping a group of smoking articles with a wrap; b) arranging a containing frame around the wrap, so as to contain the group of smoking articles and the wrap, forming a semi-packaged unit; c) feeding a sheet of heat-sealable material having at least a cut; d) arranging an adhesive label on the cut of the sheet, to cover the same; e) wrapping the semi-packaged unit with the sheet of heat-sealable material; and f) welding the sheet of heat-sealable material, forming a sealed envelope.

A method for producing a package of smoking articles. The method includes a) wrapping a group of smoking articles with a wrap; b) arranging a containing frame around the wrap, so as to contain the group of smoking articles and the wrap, forming a semi-packaged unit; c) feeding a sheet of heat-sealable material having at least a cut; d) arranging an adhesive label on the cut of the sheet, to cover the same; e) wrapping the semi-packaged unit with the sheet of heat-sealable material; and f) welding the sheet of heat-sealable material, forming a sealed envelope.

A rigid packet of smoking articles and method for manufacturing the same, wherein the packet comprises: a group of articles; a first rigid container containing the group of articles and comprising an extraction opening for extracting the articles; a resealable label which is fixed to the first container and movable between an open position, in which access to the articles is allowed, and a closed position, in which it closes the extraction opening preventing the access to the articles; a second rigid container which comprises a containing portion, containing the first container and comprising an opening from which the first container protrudes, and a lid which is hinged to the containing portion and is movable to open and close the opening. The first container is made of a multilayer material comprising a first layer which is internal and which is made of a paper material and a second layer which is made of aluminium and the packet comprises a flavoured wrap, which is arranged in the first container and which partially wraps the group of smoking articles so as not to be visible from the extraction opening of the first container, when the label is in the open position.

A rigid packet of smoking articles and method for manufacturing the same, wherein the packet comprises: a group of articles; a first rigid container containing the group of articles and comprising an extraction opening for extracting the articles; a resealable label which is fixed to the first container and movable between an open position, in which access to the articles is allowed, and a closed position, in which it closes the extraction opening preventing the access to the articles; a second rigid container which comprises a containing portion, containing the first container and comprising an opening from which the first container protrudes, and a lid which is hinged to the containing portion and is movable to open and close the opening. A packaging machine includes: a conveying machine that conveys a package blank for a package; a lid-side magnetizing roller that is supported so as to be able to come into contact with the lid-side magnetic region of the package blank, and so as to be rotatable when coming into contact, and has a permanent magnet which magnetizes a magnetic material of the lid-side magnetic region; and a body-side magnetizing roller that is supported so as to be able to come into contact with the body-side magnetic region of the package blank, and so as to be rotatable when coming into contact, and has a permanent magnet for magnetizing a magnetic material of the body-side magnetic region so as to form a predetermined magnetic distribution corresponding to a magnetic distribution in the lid-side magnetic region formed by the lid-side magnetizing roller.
