Packing machine and packing method for producing an inner container of a slide-open package of tobacco articles
Packing machine and packing method for producing an inner container of a slide-open package of tobacco articles by folding an inner blank about a wrapped group of tobacco articles; the inner blank is folded, by way of first folding means, so as to form a hinged lid; in a feed station, the partly folded inner blank is coupled to the wrapped group of tobacco articles so that a rear wall of the wrapped group of tobacco articles rests on a panel of the inner blank corresponding to a rear wall of the inner container; and the inner blank is folded, by second folding means arranged downstream from the feed station, about the wrapped group of tobacco articles to complete the production of the inner container.
Method and Device for Applying Identification Features to a Packing Strip in Order to Authenticate the Process Packing, Processed Packing and Packing
In the method for applying identification features to a packing strip in order to authenticate the processed packing, the packing strip is fed in a packing line to an embossing station, where logos of all kinds and/or codes and/or a satin finish and/or fold lines are embossed at the cycle rate of the packing machine by means of embossing rollers by deforming the packing strip, Identification: features and possibly other features are produced additionally on the packing strip on-line, in the same process step, and synchronously to the cycle rate by material removal by means of a feature setup comprising a laser installation, the packing strip having a thickness of 50 m to 300 m. The thus treated packing strip is subsequently further processed. Due to the fact that the feature setup for producing the identification features is provided in addition to the embossing rollers but operates in the same process step, all known embossing rollers can be used, and due to the application of lasers for producing the features, e.g. a consecutive numbering can be produced, thereby ensuring a secure authentication method without the need of changing substantially the embossing station comprising a housing with at least two embossing rolls, or lowering the processing speed.
Packing method and packing machine for producing a slide-open package of tobacco articles with a hinged lid
A packing method and packing machine for producing a slide-open package of tobacco articles with a hinged lid can include obtaining a wrapped group of tobacco articles with a first packing unit; obtaining an inner container which houses the wrapped group of tobacco articles and has the hinged lid with a second packing unit by folding an inner blank about the wrapped group of tobacco articles; and obtaining an outer container which slidably houses the inner container inside and is provided with a connecting tab, that at one end is integral with the outer container and at the other end is glued to the lid of the inner container, with a third packing unit by folding an outer blank about the inner container.
MULTI-PACK FOR PACKS FOR PRODUCTS OF THE CIGARETTE INDUSTRY, AND METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PRODUCING SAID MULTI-PACK
A multi-pack for packs for products of the cigarette industry, and a corresponding device and a packaging method, wherein a plurality of packs for products of the cigarette industry is arranged in ordered formation and wherein the packs are wrapped in a blank made of packaging material as an outer casing. At least one filler piece is arranged, together with the packs, in the outer casing, wherein the filler piece is arranged opposite from a bottom side of the outer casing or from a bottom side of the packs, and wherein the bottom sides of the packs directly abut the inside of the bottom side of the outer casing.
Embossing device and packaging machine comprising the device
An embossing device comprises a first embossing roller and a second embossing roller forming a passage for a web of wrapping material to be embossed, which has a main line of extension and a direction of feed; the first embossing roller comprises on its outer surface toothings to make an imprint on the web; a first toothing having a first impression to imprint on said web a first segment of a reference for identifying a section of the web and a second toothing to imprint a decorative pattern on the web; the second toothing comprises a zone without teeth for defining on the web a second, unembossed segment of the reference; the first toothing and the zone without teeth are offset from each other along a directrix of the first roller.
Method for manufacturing a set of embossing rollers
In the method for manufacturing embossing rollers for a device for embossing packaging materials that comprises a set of at least two embossing rollers of which one is driven, and whereby the embossing roller set comprises a male roller having a male surface structure including structural elements and/or logo structures and a female roller having a female surface structure that is associated to the surface structure of the male roller for the common embossing operation with the male roller, the female surface structure is produced independently of a previously produced or physically pre-existing associated male surface structure. Along with a high embossing accuracy, this allows creating a very large variety of embossing structures, on one hand, and using a very large number of the most diverse materials, on the other hand, as well as reducing transverse tensions in the embossed material.
GROUPING UNIT FOR A CARTONING MACHINE FOR THE PRODUCTION OF A PACKAGE COMPRISING A PLURALITY OF PACKS FOR SMOKING ARTICLES AND AN INSERT, CARTONING MACHINE PROVIDED WITH SAID GROUPING UNIT, METHOD FOR THE PRODUCTION OF A PACKAGE COMPRISING A PLURALITY OF PACKS FOR SMOKING ARTICLES AND AN INSERT AND PACKAGE COMPRISING A PLURALITY OF PACKS FOR SMOKING ARTICLES AND AN INSERT
A grouping unit is described for a cartoning machine for the production of a package comprising, on the inside, a plurality of packs for smoking articles arranged next to one another and along a number of rows and an insert that supports the group of packs. The grouping unit is provided with an insert feeding assembly configured to feed, one after the other, the inserts along a first conveying direction; a pack feeding assembly for feeding the packs configured to feed groups of packs, wherein said packs are grouped along a number of rows of packs arranged next to one another and are fed in succession along a second conveying direction; a blank feeding assembly configured to feed the paper/cardboard flat blanks along a third conveying direction; a grouping assembly configured to receive the group of packs, the blank and the insert and wherein the insert is interposed between the group of packs and the flat blank and with the upper wall facing the group of packs and with a lower wall facing a panel of the flat blank defining a lower wall of the package; a wrapping assembly y configured to at least partially fold the flat blank and wrap it around the assembly formed by the group of packs and the insert so as to obtain a semi-finished package; and a pushing element which is movable along a fourth conveying direction and is configured to push the group of packs until it intercepts the insert, which is arranged with the upper wall in contact with the group of packs in the area of the grouping assembly, and to convey the assembly formed by the group of packs and the insert up to the area of the wrapping assembly.
