PET WATER-FEEDING BOWL
20240215534 · 2024-07-04 ·

The utility model provides a pet water-feeding bowl, including a bowl body provided with a holding tank, a floating device located within the holding tank for preventing a pet's hair from touching water and that floats with a water level, and a purifying device for purifying drinking water in the holding tank. For the pet water-feeding bowl of the utility model, the drinking water in the holding tank is purified via the purifying device. When a pet drinks the purified drinking water, the purified drinking water can reduce probability of the pet falling ill, and the floating device further prevents external bacteria caused by the water touched by the pet's hair, which is beneficial to health of the pet.

WATERER VALVE SYSTEM
20190098867 · 2019-04-04 ·

This disclosure provides apparatus and methods for watering livestock using a livestock waterer, a water source, and a waterer valve system for replenishing water in a water reservoir of the livestock waterer. A valve housing can be affixed to the water reservoir and coupled to a plunger. A cam can be pivotably coupled to the valve housing and one end of a float arm. A float component can be coupled to the opposite end of the float arm. Water from the water supply can enter the valve housing and exit an orifice in the valve housing along first and second side spouts. The float component can have a generally flat bottom and move vertically along with the water level within the water reservoir. As the float component moves vertically, the float arm pivots the cam. The cam can move the plunger in the valve housing to stop water flow.

FLOATING WATER CIRCULATOR
20240251751 · 2024-08-01 ·

A floating water circulator (FWC) expels water at or near a water surface, providing kinetic energy, mixing, and/or temperature destratification while retarding formation of ice and/or insect reproduction in bodies of water with varying depth and/or debris, and while consuming significantly less power than a heater. An FWC includes a float configured to maintain buoyancy, allowing the FWC to rise and fall with water elevation. An FWC may provide shallow water operation. A pump may be configured to pump subsurface water from the body of water into a distributor. The distributor may be configured to receive, distribute and discharge the pumped water in multiple directions at or near the water surface through a plurality of outlets located in a side and/or a bottom of the FWC to ripple the water surface while suppressing/inhibiting splashing that may disturb livestock or induce freezing. FWC operation may be adaptable to deployment conditions.

Drinking apparatus for pets

A drinking apparatus includes a drinking receptacle, a liquid reservoir, a pump, a controller, and a liquid detector. The liquid reservoir has a liquid outlet for dispensing liquid into the drinking receptacle. The pump has an inlet in liquid communication with the drinking receptacle, and an outlet in liquid communication with the reservoir. The controller is configured to control the operation of the pump. The liquid level detector is configured to detect when the level of liquid in the reservoir is below a first threshold level. The controller is responsive to the liquid level detector to operate the pump to pump liquid from the drinking receptacle into the reservoir when the liquid level detector indicates that the level of liquid in the reservoir is below the threshold level, and the controller is configured to deactivate the pump at the end of a pumping period.
