ROBOT SYSTEM AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
A robot system has a manipulator that conveys a conveying object to a conveyance destination having a bottom surface and a wall surface connected to the bottom surface. The system includes: a first process in which the manipulator puts a first conveying object on the bottom surface of the conveyance destination; a second process in which the manipulator conveys a second conveying object to a position that does not come into contact with the first conveying object on the bottom surface of the conveyance destination; and a third process in which the manipulator moves the second conveying object in the direction of the first conveying object from the position that does not come into contact with the first conveying object, and moves the first conveying object by further moving the second conveying object after coming into contact with the first conveying object.
PACKAGING SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING A PACKAGING
A packaging system having a packaging machine and a feeding device for the packaging machine. Packaging elements for receiving products in a predetermined format can be supplied to the packaging machine for a packaging process running thereon. The packaging machine may comprise a machine frame, at least one work station attached to the machine frame; a transport device that comprises a grouping unit for receiving packaging elements supplied by the feeding device to the packaging machine; and/or a transfer unit for transporting packaging elements received thereon to the work station. The grouping unit and the transfer unit can be brought together by way of a relative motion so that the packaging elements positioned on the grouping unit can be received by way of the transfer unit. The transfer unit may be capable of gripping the packaging elements. A method for producing a packaging as described above is also provided.

HOLDING DEVICE FOR FOODS
A holding device for foods is configured to hold self-standable foods each having a front surface and a rear surface parallel to the front surface. The holding device for the foods includes a holding part configured to hold the foods in a standing state where the front surfaces face in a first direction and in a state where the foods are lined up in the first direction. The holding part includes a plurality of pairs of holding members each configured to pinch each of the foods from both sides in the first direction, and actuator members each configured to independently operate each of the pairs of holding members.
HOLDING DEVICE FOR FOOD
A holding device for food includes a second posture detecting part configured to detect that all the plurality of foods fed to the given positions are in the second posture, and a control part configured to control operation of the second holding part to hold the plurality of foods in the second posture so that the foods are piled up in the given direction, when the second posture detecting part detects that all the plurality of foods are in the second posture at the given positions.

AN AUTOMATED METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PACKAGING FLEXIBLE ARTICLES
An automated method and system for packaging a stack of flexible articles (200) are disclosed. The method comprises the steps of: loading, by a pair of end effectors (1a, 1b), the stack of flexible articles (200) into an erected box (100) having a first open end (101) and a second open end (102), wherein each open end (101, 102) has at least one flap (103, 104, 105, 106, 107, 108) that is movable between an open configuration where the flap (103, 104, 105, 106, 107, 108) is not covering an opening of the open end (101, 102) and a closed configuration where the flap (103, 104, 105, 106, 107, 108) covers the opening of the open end (101, 102), whereby the stack of flexible articles (200) is loaded in an offset position away from the first open end (101), leaving a first gap therebetween; moving, by a first flap closing mechanism (4), the flap (103, 104, 105) of the first open end (101) from the open configuration to the closed configuration; pushing, by a pushing mechanism (16), the stack of flexible articles (200) towards the first gap, thereby forming a second gap between the second open end (102) and the stack of flexible articles (200); and moving, by a second flap closing mechanism (6), the flap (106, 107, 108) of the second open end (102) from the open configuration to the closed configuration, wherein the first and second gaps are configured to prevent the flaps (103, 104, 105, 106, 107, 108) from being obstructed by the stack of flexible articles (200) while closing the flaps (103, 104, 105, 106, 107, 108).
BOXING DEVICE AND BOXING METHOD
A boxing device includes a second suction unit that applies force to an inner wall surface of a box. The boxing device also includes a boxing device main body part capable of housing an object-to-be-housed in the interior of the box that has been positioned by being moved by the second suction unit applying force to the inner wall surface of the box.
HOLDING DEVICE FOR FOOD
A holding device for food includes a right hand part configured to hold the food in a first posture where a first surface part is oriented horizontally, and to be changeable the posture of the food from the first posture into a second posture where a second surface part is oriented horizontally, a right arm (food feeding part) configured to sequentially feed the food held in the second posture by the first holding part to a given position, a left hand part (second holding part) configured to hold a plurality of foods fed to the given position in the second posture, the foods being held so as to be laterally piled up in a given direction, and a left arm (food accommodating part) configured to accommodate the plurality of foods held by the left hand part into a given container.
