RANDOM CASE SEALER
20230303284 · 2023-09-28 ·

Various embodiments of the present disclosure provide a random case sealer. The case sealer includes a top-head-actuating assembly configured to vary the speed of the top-head assembly when ascending (to make room for the case beneath the top-head assembly) and when descending onto the case (to engage the top surface of the case during sealing). This maximizes the speed of the top-head assembly while limiting overshoot (when ascending) and preventing damage to the case (when descending). In certain embodiments the case sealer includes a tape cartridge configured to limit the forces imparted onto the leading and top surfaces of the case during sealing. These features result in increased throughput as compared to prior art random case sealers without requiring stronger cases or more protective dunnage.

A cardboard box erector that folds four flaps provided on edges of an opening of a cardboard box so as to surround the opening is disclosed. The four flaps include a locking flap folded last among the four flaps. The cardboard box erector includes a folding unit configured to fold each of the four flaps in a predetermined order to close the opening, and a pushing unit configured to perform an action to push the locking flap inside the cardboard box and pull the locking flap back. The pushing unit has a suction unit configured to such and hold the locking flap.

FORWARD AND REVERSE ROLLER TYPE WAFER SEALING SYSTEM
20220002013 · 2022-01-06 ·

A forward and reverse roller type wafer sealing system includes a wafer seal tape, a wafer seal transfer member, an inflow conveyor belt, a first pressure roller member, a second pressure roller member and an outflow conveyor belt. The wafer seal tape has a shape wound in a roll type, and has a plurality of wafer seals attached in series to one surface. The wafer seal transfer member includes a supply holding member on which the wafer seal tape is mounted, a removing pulley for removing the wafer seal as the wafer seal tape is transferred, and a recovery holding member for winding a base member from which the wafer seal is removed using the removing pulley as a separation point. The inflow conveyor belt rotates in a forward rotation direction to transfer the packaging object in order to attach the wafer seal for preventing unfolding to a plurality of accumulated packaging objects. The first pressure roller member is disposed at a rear end of the inlet conveyor belt. As a part of a removed wafer seal is attached to the edge of one surface of the packaging object and transferred, the first pressure roller member bends the rest of the wafer seal in a U-shape to pressurize the edge of the other surface of the object to be packaged. The second pressure roller member is disposed at a rear end of the conveying roller member. The second pressure roller member transfers the packaging object having the wafer seal attached to the edge of one side and the edge of the other side. The outflow conveyor belt is disposed at a rear end of the second pressure roller. The outflow conveyor belt rotates in the forward rotation direction to transport the packaging object with the wafer seal attached.

CANTILEVER TYPE PLANE AUTOMATIC ADHESIVE TAPE PASTING DEVICE

For the defects that manual adhesive tape pasting is low in efficiency and high in cost, and it is difficult to automatically paste adhesive tapes at specified positions of inner and outer surfaces of an item according to a certain length through a handheld box sealer and an adhesive tape seal pasting mechanism, a cantilever type plane automatic adhesive tape pasting device is invented. A liftable two-stage telescopic cantilever adhesive tape pasting head structure, a roller type automatic adhesive tape feeding structure, an adjustable fixed-length cutting structure and a roller type pasting structure are adopted for the device to achieve the automatic adhesive tape pasting on inner and outer side planes of an item. After the item needing adhesive tape pasting is positioned, the pasting process is completely automatically conducted without manual participation, the labor intensity is reduced, the labor efficiency is improved.

Box erecting machine

A box erecting machine includes a transport mechanism that can move an un-erected box from an entry portion of the box erecting machine to a forward portion of the box erecting machine. The transport mechanism can include pivot arm(s) and clamp(s) for securing and moving the un-erected box. The machine can also include a box erecting assembly that erects the un-erected box. The box erecting assembly can include an opening or unfolding mechanism that opens or unfolds the un-erected box into a generally rectangular tube. The machine can also include a folding mechanism and a closure mechanism for folding and securing the bottom flaps of the box.

Enhanced taping machine and operating method thereof

Disclosed is a box taping machine equipped with a conveying mechanism for boxes and one or more tape applicators. The taping machine can be manually or automatically adjusted, with or without flap folding. A conveying unit displaces boxes along a sliding plane, moved by an actuator controlled by a drive, with a tape applicator positioned above the plane. A passage sensor detects the moving position of at least a vertical surface of the boxes and outputs sensor signals. A programmable logic unit interfaces with the passage sensor and drive, computing a current position of front and rear vertical surfaces based on the sensor signal, and an actuator control function acts on the drive controlling the actuator, the actuator control function being variable in time based on the current position of front and rear vertical surfaces of the boxes. A retrofit kit and corresponding method are also disclosed.
