Taping machine for attaching insulation tape to outer peripheral sealing part of battery cell
A taping machine includes: a conveyor to convey the battery cell to a taping part and a finish processing part in this order; a tape supply part configured such that the insulation tape is wound therearound and is moved while being unwound in a direction corresponding to a moving direction of the conveyor; a taping part for attaching the insulation tape to the battery cell, the taping part being configured to cut the insulation tape positioned thereon into a length of 80% to 100% of the length of a to-be-insulated portion and temporality attach the cut insulation tape to the to-be-insulated portion; and a finish processing part for attaching the tape to the battery cell, the finish processing portion pressing the insulation tape in a state in which the battery is received from the taping part so that the insulation tape is attached to the entire to-be-insulated portion.
Method And Apparatus For Packaging Smoking Articles
A method of producing a pack of smoking articles includes providing a pre-assembled pack of smoking articles comprising an inner pack having a flexible sheet in which a group of smoking articles is wrapped or enclosed and a re-closable flap movable between a closed position preventing access to the smoking articles and an open position for accessing the smoking articles, and an outer pack comprising a container which holds and substantially encompasses the inner pack, the outer pack having a lid in a closed position preventing access to the inner pack; creating a space or gap between the lid of the outer pack and the inner pack; and attaching the re-closable flap of the inner pack to the lid of the outer pack via and/or through the space or gap. An apparatus for producing a pack of smoking articles per the above method is also provided.
Tape head assist assembly
A tape head assemblywhich tapes flaps of boxes on a conveyorincludes power-assist functionality to stretch a first spring used to power a trailing roller to press tape against a trailing case sidewall of a case. A force by the case moving on the conveyor acting upon a leading roller may provide some of the energy to stretch the first spring. However, a roller-assist air cylinder uses compressed air to assist or fully stretch the first spring. A knife assembly may be used to cut the tape applied to a case. A second spring may be stretched by the force of the moving case acting upon a knife arm. The second spring may be used later operate the knife blade. However, a knife-assist air cylinder uses compressed air to assist or fully stretch the second spring. Both assist assemblies may be turned off to operate the tape head in a conventional manner.
Packaging device, packaging method and package for visual communication boards
The present invention refers to a device for packaging visual communication boards and to the respective packaging method, characterized by a set of at least nine sections that comprises feeding the boards (1); fitting the lateral and upper profiles (2), cleaning of the boards (3); placing of the boards in the packaging material (4) and the positioning of the packaging material, the distribution of the bonding product on the surface of the packaging material and the placing of tops on the packaging material (5); executing the bonding of the referred tops on the packaging material; folding the packaging material and package seal (6); sealing the packaging material (7), labelling the package (8); control and wrapping (9) or palletization of the final product.
Tape applicator with split wiper
A tape applicator consistent with the present disclosure may include a tape applicator configured for applying a tape, such as a pressure sensitive adhesive tape to a carton (e.g., for sealing and/or assembling the carton). One or more rollers may be utilized to aid in applying the pressure sensitive adhesive tape to a carton. Furthermore, a wiper aids in applying pressure sensitive adhesive tape to a carton (e.g., before and/or after the one or more rollers). The wiper may be a split wiper having a first portion and a second portion, which allows for applying adhesive tape to a carton when the carton is under-packed or over-packed, and thus, the flaps of the carton are not level with respect to each other (e.g., the edges are not located in the same plane).
BOXING DEVICE
Provided is a boxing device to restrain productivity decreases and cost increases. A boxing device has a stocking section to form a stocking space in which a plurality of cardboard boxes made from a box-making sheet can be stocked, a packing section in which the cardboard boxes sent from the stocking space are placed, a boxing section, and a controller. The boxing section performs a boxing action of packing a plurality of products discharged from a bag-making and packaging machine into the cardboard boxes placed in the packing section. The controller, on the basis of weighing machine information and user-set information, executes a stocking number deciding process to decide a numerical quantity (stocking number) of cardboard boxes stocked in the stocking space. The weighing machine information is information relating to an operating condition of the packaging machine (packaging-machine-related information). The user-set information is information set by a user.
BOX-MAKING APPARATUS
A box-making apparatus includes an electronic controller assesses abnormalities in the affixing of tape on the basis of a timing at which a cardboard box passes a detection position Pd, and a timing at which a tape roll starts or stops an action of unreeling the tape. The electronic controller assesses abnormalities in the affixing of tape also when there is a discrepancy of at least a predetermined amount between the timing at which the cardboard box passes the detection position and the timing at which the tape roll starts or stops the action of unreeling the tape.
CONTAINER CLOSING AND OPENING ARTICLE, SYSTEM, AND METHOD
Methods, articles, and apparatus that provide a dual function closure/opening system that utilizes a tape serving as both a sealing closure and as an opening mechanism. For example, in one embodiment, a single adhesive tape is introduced between a container flap and a container panel and then the container flap and the container panel are pressed together forming a bond between the flap and the panel via the adhesive tape thereby closing the container. In another embodiment, one end of a container includes two overlapping flaps and a single adhesive tape is introduced between the overlap of the two container flaps and then the container flaps are pressed together forming a bond between the flaps via the adhesive tape thereby closing the container. The methods and apparatus disclosed herein are directed to any container with at least one flap that overlaps a side panel of the container or that overlaps another flap.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR ACTIVATABLE SUBSTRATE APPLICATION
A method of applying a tape to an article. The method includes contacting a first activatable adhesive composition of an adhesive tape with a placement device. The adhesive tape has a carrier substrate, the first activatable adhesive composition disposed on a first surface of the carrier substrate, and a second activatable adhesive composition disposed on a second surface of the carrier substrate. The method includes activating the first activatable adhesive composition such that the adhesive tape adheres to the placement device through the first activatable adhesive composition, separating the adhesive tape from a tape delivery system, activating the second activatable adhesive composition, contacting an article with the second activatable adhesive composition, and separating the placement device from the adhesive tape such that the adhesive tape remains adhered to the article.
Self-sealing foldable container
A foldable container and method of storing adhesive in which a single strip of adhesive material is attached to a single release liner featured on a side surface or a flap of the foldable container. The strips of adhesive material can be peeled off a surface of the container and applied to and used to seal the top and bottom surfaces of the container as needed. The container features one or more release liner(s) each with a single strip of adhesive material attached only to the release liner and not a surface of the container itself.
