A SEALING SYSTEM FOR SEALING A PACKAGING MATERIAL
A sealing system (100) for sealing a packaging material is disclosed comprising an independently movable sealing device (101) being movably mounted on a track (102), a power generator (105) in communication with the sealing device (101) to supply a power signal (p1) at a frequency for said sealing over a power communication line (106), the sealing device (101) comprising a housing (107), a detection device (108) arranged in the housing (107) to register detection data of an environment therein and/or of sealing parameters associated with said sealing, and a transmitter (109) connected to the detection device (108), the transmitter comprising an encoder (110) to convert the detection data to at least one frequency pulse (p2), whereby the transmitter (109) communicates the at least one frequency pulse as a detection signal to a receiver (111) over the power communication line (106).
REUSABLE CONTAINER SYSTEM AND METHOD THAT REDUCES THE USE OF PLASTIC
A reusable container system and method for reducing the use of plastic is disclosed herein. In one embodiment, a reusable container includes: a reusable bottle; a lid attachable to the reusable bottle that enables access removing and inserting single-use replaceable sealed bag or pouch; an inner single-use replaceable sealed bag or pouch that holds a liquid, viscous, or gel material inside the reusable bottle; a sprayer or pump attachable to the reusable bottle; and a dip tube with a leading edge that pierces the inner bag upon assembly of the above listed components. The liquid material is accessed for dispensing through the dip tube without contaminating the reusable bottle.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR THE HIGH-SPEED APPLICATION OF PAPER-BASED END CLOSURES ON COMPOSITE CONTAINERS
A system for assembling a container and closure comprising an expanding collet which has a plurality of pivoting collet segments, each configured to simultaneously pivot radially outward about a pivot point and comprising. The collet comprises a lip that is engagable with the rim of the open end of the container and an angled tip positioned radially inward from the lip and shaped to press a countersink portion of the closure against an interior wall of the container as the collet segments pivot radially outward. As the container and the chuck are brought together, the rim engages with the lips of the collet segments and causes the angled tips of the collet segments to pivot outward toward the interior wall of the container, thereby pushing the countersink portion of the closure against the interior wall of the container.
Induction sealing device
An induction sealing device for induction welding of a packaging material is disclosed. In some embodiments, the induction sealing device comprises an inductor coil configured to induce an alternating current in a metal foil of the packaging material for inductive heating thereof. The induction sealing device can further comprise a magnetic insert encapsulating the inductor coil apart from an outer portion of the inductor coil, and the outer portion can be arranged towards the packaging material to be sealed. In some embodiments, the magnetic insert is configured to interact with the packaging material to be sealed via at least one interactive surface. In some embodiments, the induction sealing device comprises a connection unit. The connection unit can comprise a parallel connection configured to connect to the inductor coil and to an AC power source. A corresponding method of manufacturing an induction sealing device is also disclosed.
AN INDUCTION HEAT SEALING DEVICE AND A METHOD FOR TRANSVERSALLY SEAL A TUBE OF PACKAGING MATERIAL
An induction heat sealing device (300) for providing a transversal sealing of a tube (104) of packaging material, said induction heat sealing device (300) comprising a main body (302) comprising a first and a second sealing surface (314a, 314b) arranged to face the packaging material during a sealing state (S), a recess (308) provided in the main body (308) for receiving a knife during a cutting state (C), wherein the first and second sealing surface (314a, 314b) are placed on opposite sides of the recess (308), and an electric conductor arrangement (306a, 306b, 306c, 306d), provided in the main body (302), for inducing eddy currents in the packaging material during the sealing state (S), wherein at least part of the first and second sealing surface (314a, 314b) are inclined and provided with a first and a second top section (316a, 316b), respectively, such that particles in a product held inside the tube (104) are pushed away from a sealing band of the tube as the sealing band is pressed towards the first and second top section (316a, 316b).

Process for making a package for foodstuff products
A process for making a hermetically sealed package, which includes forming a sheet of wrapping made of plastic material, in particular having a thickness of less than or equal to 140 μm. The process envisages: forming on the sheet a first, hollow, portion and a second, perimetral, portion, which delimits at least partially the first portion; inserting the product into the hollow portion obtained in the sheet of wrapping; applying a second sheet of wrapping in contact with the perimetral portion so as to close the hollow portion with the product inside; and welding the second sheet on the first sheet along the perimetral portion. Forming the first sheet includes providing on the second, perimetral, portion a series of pleats of the sheet, which are then sealed.
