PACKAGING MACHINE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SEALED PACKAGES
There is described a packaging machine for producing sealed packages of a pourable product from a web of packaging material, the packaging machine comprises an isolation chamber having an inner environment and within which, in use, the web of packaging material is formed into a tube, a conduct assembly being in fluid connection with the inner environment; the conduct assembly defining and/or forming together with the inner environment at least a portion of a flow circuit of the packaging machine, a nitrogen distribution unit configured to inject and/or direct nitrogen into the flow circuit and a flow controlling device configured to create a flow of gas along a flow path within the flow circuit from the inner environment through at least a portion of the conduct assembly back into the inner environment.
PACKAGING MACHINE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SEALED PACKAGES
A packaging machine includes a conveying device for advancing a packaging material web at least to a tube forming station at which the web is formed into a tube and for advancing the tube to a tube forming and sealing device to form and longitudinally seal the tube, a tensioning device to control tension of the web and/or of the tube and a control unit to control operation of the packaging machine. The tensioning device has at least one tensioning assembly having at least first and second drive rollers, a first drive motor connected to the first drive roller to rotate the first drive roller and a second drive motor connected to the second drive roller to rotate the second drive roller. The control unit controls the first and second drive motors such that a free loop of the web expands and/or advances between the first and second drive rollers.

Method and device for producing and filling containers
An apparatus for transforming a preform into a container filled with liquid filling material includes a mold that forms a mold head, a sterilization system, a chamber that is common to a group of mold heads, an evacuation system that is connected to the chamber, and conduit lines, each of which connects a mold head to the chamber. The sterilization system sterilizes the interior of the preform while it is in sealing engagement with the mold head. The evacuation system creates a vacuum in the preform. Liquid filling material enters the preform under pressure and causes it to transform into a container.

Content filling system and verification method of content filling system
A preform is sterilized by a preform sterilizer. The preform is blow-molded by a blow-molding device to manufacture a container. Next, the container is filled with a culture medium by a filling device without sterilizing the container by a container sterilizer, and the container is plugged by a plugging device. Thereafter, it is verified how much microorganism survive or propagate in the culture medium in the container. A degree of sterilization in the container sterilizer is adjusted on the basis of a verification result.
Surface decontamination device and operating method
A surface decontamination device (1) for decontaminating outer packagings (2) which contain pre-sterilised consumer goods and have a circumferential collar (3) prior to transfer into an insulator includes a conveyor for conveying the outer packagings (2) in a conveying direction (F) along a conveying path from an inlet side to an outlet side of the device (1). The conveying path passes through a decontamination chamber (5) between the inlet side and outlet side. An irradiation source (6) is associated with the chamber (5) for irradiating the outer packagings (2) conveyed through the chamber (5). The conveying path passes through at least one lock chamber (8) arranged between the inlet side and outlet side, adjacent to the chamber (5) and having an inlet and an outlet, the inlet and outlet being able to be opened and closed by a closer. The conveyor includes a suspended transport unit (7) in the chamber (5) for suspended transport of the outer packagings (2) on the circumferential collar (3) thereof, wherein a lifting unit (11, 15) for automatic, vertical adjustment of the outer packagings (2) relative to the suspended transport unit (7) is arranged in the lock chamber (8, 14).

METHOD, DEVICE AND SYSTEM FOR FILLING PHARMACEUTICAL CONTAINERS
The present invention involves both an apparatus and an associated method for confirming the presence or absence of closures in a closure nest inside an aseptic chamber. The apparatus comprises a topographical profiler disposed to monitor the closure nests. Vertical displacements in topographical maps obtained by the profiler are compared with information from a database about the nest and closure combinations. Vertical displacements falling outside predetermined upper and lower bounds are deemed absences of closures. The topographical profiler may be disposed outside the aseptic chamber. The system may be automated via a controller and suitable software. In some embodiments the nests and disposed in the monitored area by robotic articulated arms. In other embodiments the closure nests are moved by vacuum pickup systems. The system and method may also be employed to assess the suitability of a closure nest for closing in an aseptic chamber containers in a container nest.
