Method of forming pouch with oxygen scavenging elements
The method includes infusing oxygen scavenging elements within at least a portion of an interior surface layer of at least one first polymer layer of a pouch material, the pouch material including a gas impermeable layer connected to the at least one first polymer layer, enclosing a consumable item within the pouch material, and joining ends of the pouch material to form a sealed inner cavity, the sealed inner cavity containing the consumable item.
Oxygen-absorbing multilayer body, oxygen-absorbing container, oxygen-absorbing airtight container, oxygen-absorbing push-through pack, and storage method using same
Provided is an oxygen-absorbing multilayer body including an oxygen-absorbing layer containing an oxygen-absorbing composition and a thermoplastic resin layer containing a thermoplastic resin (b), wherein the oxygen-absorbing composition includes at least one compound having a tetralin ring represented by Formula (1), a transition metal catalyst, and a thermoplastic resin (a). ##STR00001##
PACKAGED FOOD PRODUCTS CONTAINING ENTRAINED CO2
Packaged food compositions including but not limited to emulsified salad dressings (e.g., an oil/water emulsion) that contain calcium carbonate and phosphoric acid. Under conditions present in the salad dressing, the calcium carbonate reacts with the phosphoric acid to form surface modified calcium carbonate particles that dissolve over the shelf-life of the salad dressing to slowly release CO.sub.2 into the emulsion, resulting in a whipped, bodied texture for the salad dressing within the bottle or other container.
Blood purifier package and process for manufacturing the same
Objects of the invention are to provide a blood purifier package which shows a less increase in the amounts of extracts from the materials of its blood purifier, particularly of its selective permeable separation membranes, attributed to the deterioration of the same materials with time after exposure to a radioactive ray or an electron ray, and which is therefore highly reliable in safety in use for hemocatharsis, and to provide a process for manufacturing the same. The present invention relates to a blood purifier package obtained by packing a blood purifier which comprises selectively permeable separation membranes as a main component, and this blood purifier package is characterized in that the blood purifier is packed and sealed together with an oxygen scavenger in a packaging material capable of shutting out an external air and a water vapor, under a condition of a relative humidity of above 40% RH at 25 C.

APPARATUS, SYSTEM, AND METHOD FOR HIGH SPEED CONTAINER FILLING
A high-speed container filling machine, utilizing absolute servo motor architecture, processes and delivers small items, such as pouch style desiccants, when provided on a continuous reel, or be switched over to dispense canister style desiccants provided loose in bulk. A proximity sensing device prevents the insertion of an empty, or partially filled, pouch desiccant.
STERILE CONTAINER COMPRISING STERILE BARRIER SEPARATE FROM PRIMARY PACKAGE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING STERILE CONTAINER
A sterile container including at least one hollow fiber filter module, especially dialyzer, which is accommodated in a hermetically sealed holding volume of a primary package and includes a blood compartment delimited by a blood inlet opening and a blood outlet opening, wherein a plurality of hollow fiber filter modules is arranged in the primary package and the sterile barrier of the blood compartment of each hollow fiber filter module inside the primary package is implemented by caps which close the blood inlet opening and the blood outlet opening of each hollow fiber filter module. A method of manufacturing such sterile container is also disclosed.
Method for preparing package of sputtering target, and method for transporting same
A method for preparing a package that can effectively suppress surface alteration even in a sputtering target whose surface is likely to be altered by moisture such as a sputtering target comprising an oxide of boron is provided. A method for preparing a package of sputtering target, including a step 1 of housing a sputtering target in a first packaging bag made of a film having a water vapor permeability of 1 g/(m.sup.2.Math.24 h) or less, and then vacuum sealing an opening of the first packaging bag; and a step 2 of housing the first packaging bag which has been vacuum sealed in the step 1, in a second packaging bag made of a film having a water vapor permeability of 1 g/(m.sup.2.Math.24 h) or less, and then enclosing one or more cushion gases selected from a group consisting of air and inert gas in the second packaging bag, and sealing an opening of the second packaging bag.
