Filling unit and method for filling containers
Filling unit (1) for a packaging machine (100) for filling bulk materials (50) into packages (60), and packaging machine with a filling unit (1), comprising a conveyor device (2), by means of which bulk materials (50) can be conveyed into a package (60), and a control device (3), which is suitable and configured to guide a filling stream (4) into a package (60). A fill level sensor device (5) including a sensor device (6) is provided, which is suitable and configured to detect a first fill level (7) and a second fill level (8) of bulk materials (50) in a package (60), wherein the first fill level (7) corresponds to a lower fill level than the second fill level (8). The control device (3) regulates the filling stream (4) by way of the fill levels determined by the sensor device (6). With the method according to the invention, the package is filled until the second fill level is detected. Then the filling stream is reduced until the first fill level is detected. Thereupon the filling stream is increased.
Rotary valve pump for automatic drug compounder
Various aspects of the subject disclosure relate to a compounder system having a cartridge that includes controllable fluid pathways. One or more rotary piston pump/valves may be used to move fluid and/or gasses through the various fluid pathways of the cartridge. For example, the cartridge may include a dedicated rotary piston pump/valve for each process that moves fluid and/or gas through the cartridge. When turning, the rotary piston pump/valve acts as a pump to move the fluid or gas, and when the rotary piston pump/valve stops turning, it effectively acts as a shutoff valve, preventing any fluid flow. Magnetic couplers for the cartridge may be provided on a pump head of the compounder system.
Evacuation/fill station for radioactive fluid container production
A unit dose container production system (10) is disclosed where a unit dose container (130) is evacuated and thereafter loaded with a radioactive fluid while remaining at a single location. In this regard, the production system (10) uses a first conveyor (12) to sequentially load unit dose containers (130) into an empty container receptacle (24) of a second conveyor (20) at a first location (90). The second conveyor (20) may be operated to dispose a container receptacle (24) at each of the first location (90), a second location (100), and a third location (110). A unit dose container (130) at the second location (100) is evacuated and thereafter loaded with a radioactive fluid, and is thereafter moved to a third location (110) by the second conveyor (20). The unit dose container (130) is removed from the second conveyor (20) at the third location (110), and thereafter the radioactivity content of a unit dose container (130) may be determined, such as at an ionization chamber or the like.

ADAPTIVE QUANTITATIVE SUB-PACKAGING METHOD FOR FRIED RICE WITH MULTIPLE SIDE DISHES IN CENTRAL KITCHEN AND APPARATUS THEREFOR
The present invention belongs to the technical field of food processing, and in particular, relates to an adaptive quantitative sub-packaging method for fried rice with multiple side dishes in a central kitchen and an apparatus therefor. The present invention mainly includes self-construction of a key side dish recognition model, self-evaluation of the key side dish recognition model, adaptive quantification of batch fried rice, and the apparatus matched with the three-step operation.
Syringe pump for automatic drug compounders
Various aspects of the subject disclosure relate to a compounder system having a cartridge that includes controllable fluid pathways. The cartridge may include a syringe pump for moving fluid and/or gas, and one or more syringe valves or rotary valves for controlling which of the controllable fluid pathways is open for flow of the fluid and/or gas.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PRODUCING A RADIOACTIVE DRUG PRODUCT USING A DISPENSING UNIT
Production systems for producing a radioactive drug product include a hot cell having a radiation isolating shielding and a dispensing unit positioned within the hot cell. The dispensing unit includes a manipulator arm for manipulating a closure component of a vial. The system further includes a pneumatic line extending from the manipulator arm and through the radiation isolating shielding to a location outside of the hot cell and a pressure sensor connected to the pneumatic line and positioned outside of the radiation isolating shielding. The pressure sensor is operable to detect air pressure within the pneumatic line.
Vacuum apparatus for filling bulk containers
A bulk container vacuum filing system includes a base portion and movable portion. The bulk container vacuum filing system serves to position and maintain a bulk container within a chamber, seal the interior of the chamber, dispense material into the bulk container, and draw a vacuum or create positive pressure within the chamber and/or the bulk container during at least a portion of the dispensing process. Base portion of the bulk container vacuum filing system includes a vacuum source and a material supply line along with electronic controls and sensors for operating and monitoring the filling process. The moveable portion include a support structure for supporting the bulk container, such as a bulk bag, in the proper place.
High speed bag filler
An apparatus and method are provided for efficient filling of bulk containers with free-flowing bulk materials. The apparatus is configured to support multiple industrial containers and fill them with bulk materials stored in a batching hopper in an effective and expedient manner. The filled bulk material containers are transported away for storage or use. The apparatus includes a rotatable multi-container support assembly for rotating the empty containers into a filling station under the batching hopper. A controller and data logger may be provided to control the apparatus and record the type, quantity and/or weight of each batch of the bulk material dispensed into the industrial containers.
Automated Splitting Of A Fluid Into Uneven Volumes
A system for splitting a fluid includes a source support configured to support a source container and a satellite support configured to support a satellite container fluidly connected to the source container. A weight scale is associated with each of the supports. The system also includes a clamp system and a controller. The controller determines a plurality of possible distributions of the fluid between the source container and the satellite container based at least in part on the concentration or amount of said constituent and the combined weight measured by each weight scale, then controls the clamp system to selectively allow and prevent fluid flow from the source container to the satellite container so as to distribute the fluid between the source container and the satellite container according to one of the distributions, with at least one of the possible distributions being an uneven distribution of the fluid.
