System and method for sealing containers
A container has a product in a product-receiving area and has a sealing area surrounding the product-receiving area. A length of film is arranged over the container. A space above the film is evacuated using an evacuating portion of an upper sealing module arranged over the film, so as to cause a portion of the film to conform to the upper sealing module. An area of the film is cut out by moving a cutting tool relative to the upper sealing module from a recessed position to a cutting position. The cut-out area of film includes the portion of the film conformed to the upper sealing module, is brought into contact with the sealing area of the container by moving the upper sealing module relative to the container, and is sealed to the sealing area of the container using a heat sealing portion of the upper sealing module.
SEAL AND CUT ASSEMBLY FOR HEAT SEALING MACHINE
A heat sealing machine and method form blister packages. A backing material web extends between a nesting tray assembly and a seal and cut tooling assembly and a blister tray is resident within a blister nest of the nesting tray assembly. The backing material web is clamped between a clamping gasket support shoulder of the nesting tray assembly and a clamping shoulder of the seal and cut tooling assembly, and between a sealing gasket support shoulder of the nesting tray assembly and a heat seal shoulder of a heater assembly. A knife of the seal and cut tooling assembly extends between the clamping gasket support shoulder and the sealing gasket support shoulder to cut a backing sheet from the backing material web that is heat sealed to an attachment surface of the blister tray to form the blister package.
Packaging machine with punch
A packaging machine and method for producing a packaging with a packaging machine, in which a lower material web is unrolled from a supply roll and transported along the packaging machine and at the same time a material to be packaged is placed on the lower material web and, to complete the packaging, an upper film is sealed to the lower material web in a sealing station, the packaging is cut from the upper and lower material webs, the cutting of the lower material web takes place partially upstream and partially downstream of the sealing station and/or partially upstream and partially in the sealing station.
PUNCHING DEVICE FOR PUNCHING OUT BLISTER PACKS FROM A BLISTER STRIP
A punching device for punching out blister packs from a blister strip has at least a first and a second punching element. The first punching element has a plurality of punches and the second punching element has a die. The first punching element is movable back and forth in a punching direction in such a way that the punching device alternately assumes an open position and a closed position. During operation of the punching device, each punch is connected to at least one of a plurality of carriages. In the idle state of the punching device, the carriages are displaceable relative to the associated punch in a direction which is perpendicular to the punching direction.
PUNCHING DEVICE FOR PUNCHING OUT BLISTER PACKS FROM A BLISTER STRIP
A punching device for punching out blister packs from a blister strip having at least a first and a second punching element. The first punching element has at least one punch and the second punching element has a die. The first punching element is movable back and forth in a punching direction in such a way that the punching device alternately assumes an open position and a closed position. The first punching element has a plurality of punch sets, each of which comprises a punch, an actuating plate and a plurality of punch guides, which extend between said punch and the actuating plate and are connected thereto, wherein the punch guides extend through a base plate of the first punch element. The base plate of the first punching element has a punch set stop, which is in contact with the actuating plate in an operating position of said punch.
PUNCHING DEVICE FOR PUNCHING OUT BLISTER PACKS FROM A BLISTER STRIP
A punching device for punching out blister packs from a blister strip having at least a first and a second punching element. The first punching element has at least one punch and the second punching element has a die. The first punching element is movable back and forth in a punching direction so that the punching device alternately assumes an open position and a closed position. At least one adjustment unit is associated with the punch and is configured to move the punch in the punching direction between an operating position and an offset position so that the punch is arranged further away from the second punching element in the offset position than in the operating position. The at least one adjustment unit has a force transmission element, which is adjustable in the punching direction in order to move the punch between the operating position and the offset position.
PACKAGING MACHINE WITH PUNCH
A packaging machine which unrolls a lower material web from a supply roll and transports the lower material web intermittently or continuously along the packaging machine and which is being loaded with a material to be packaged, for completion of a packaging, an upper material web is subsequently sealed to the lower material web in a sealing station, and a punch is provided which severs the lower material web along at least one partial area of a contour of the packaging to be produced, the punch is provided in a forming tool.
