Electrically-Powered Waste Enclosure

Systems, methods, and apparatuses for controlling electrically-powered trash receptacles and monitoring fullness levels. The system can include a storage enclosure and a bin contained inside the storage enclosure, the bin configured to receive and store items deposited in the storage enclosure, wherein an inside portion of the bin is at least partially covered by a bag placed inside the bin to hold the items deposited in the storage enclosure. The system can also include a sensor configured to sense a content fullness state of the bin and a processor configured to control operations performed by the sensor. In addition, the system can include a sleeve configured to be installed over an inside portion of the bin and the bag, the sleeve at least partially restricting a movement of the bag.

The holder is adjustable in depth to closely fit the depth of the bag so that fasteners reach and hold-up and hold-open corners of the bag for maximum and reliable opening and positioning of the cloth/non-uniform bag throughout the bag-loading process. The holder may be also adjustable in width. The checker and shopper typically need not hold the bag open or even touch the bag during the bag-loading step. The full bag remains in an upright position in the holder until the checker or shopper disconnects the bag from the holder and grasps the handles of the bag to lift and carry away the filled bag.

An elastic liner or a mesh laundry bag is placed against the longer leg. When a pair of such angle brackets are secured to the sidewall and another pair to an opposite sidewall, the liner may press against the longer leg of each of the longer legs such as adjacent the respective bend, or a distal portion of a mesh liner's many apertures which, once protruded by a tab, may exert a force on the underside of the tab. Such s force is translated to an inward-facing force by the tab, in effect locking or preventing the method liner from collapsing. In that manner, the liner or laundry bag is retained and can be filled with soiled laundry within the drawer.
