A detection sensor (20) is configured to detect the waste product (W) being passed into the channel (10). A pulling device (30) is configured to pull a portion of the flexible tubing (T) into the channel (10) from the surrounding supply compartment (15) based on the detecting. A scaling device (40) is configured to seal a portion of the flexible tubing (T) that has been pulled into the channel (10) to form a scaled package with the waste product (W) inside.
