PET CHASE TOY
A pet toy includes a wheel base that moves randomly or pseudo-randomly and a rod detachably connected to the wheel base configured to hold a treat or other food item desirable to the pet companion is described herein. The wheel base and/or the rod may have one or more modes of movement that may be activated based on a movement algorithm that randomly or pseudo-randomly moves/turns the wheel base and/or the rod and/or a one or more sensors that detect obstacles. A proximate end of the may be detachably connected to a corresponding rod connector of the wheel base. The distal end of the rod may be configured to grab and/or hold the food item and/or have the food item wedged into it.
TRAINING COLLAR AND METHOD FOR USE WITH PETS TO PREVENT TUGGING
Various methods and apparatuses for correcting an animal to heel. Generally, the present disclosure teaches an animal training apparatus for correcting an animal to heel. The animal training apparatus includes a collar adapted to operably engaged with an animal, a stimulus unit operably engaged with the collar, and a control unit operably engaged with the collar and operatively connected with the stimulus unit, wherein the control unit is adapted to operably engage with a leash cord. The animal training apparatus also includes a tension measuring device of the control unit operably engaged with the collar and adapted for measuring tension in the leash cord and producing an electrical signal when the tension exceeds a predetermined tension threshold; wherein the control unit is selectively programmable to generate at least one correction stimulus to the animal when the animal exceeds the predetermined tension threshold set in the control unit.
Communication Systems and Methods for Animals
Systems and methods for facilitating communication with animals. Interacting with a display that presents touchable buttons in manners that are suitable for animals, animals can be trained to use touch gestures to produce speech. Various embodiments add to convenience and ease for designated animal users, offer guidance and flexibility for human users who train or communicate with the animal users, and provide a rich potential for customization and improvements.
SCENT-BASED TRAINING SYSTEM
The present disclosure is directed to systems and methods for training animals using a wirelessly activated scent-based training system. The scent-based training system includes a reward dispenser that holds a reward. The scent-based training system also includes a scent chamber physically couplable to a target scent reservoir. Target scent molecules flow from the scent reservoir to the interior space of the scent chamber where they may be detected by the animal at which time a reward may be dispensed. The reward passes through the scent chamber prior to being provided to the animal. The reward “pushes” air through the scent chamber prior to passage through the chamber, increasing the concentration of target scent molecules proximate the scent chamber. After passage through the scent chamber a venturi effect created by the reward causes additional target scent molecules to flow from the target scent reservoir to the scent chamber.
INTELLIGENT PET CALLING DEVICE
The present disclosure discloses an intelligent pet calling device, including a collar detachably connected to the body or head of a pet, and a functional box detachably arranged on the collar; a wireless connection module and a voice device are arranged in the functional box; the functional box also includes a shell assembly, a control board, a battery, a button and a charging interface; the shell assembly is a hollow cavity; the control board, the voice device and the battery are respectively fixedly arranged in the shell assembly; the battery supplies electric energy to the control board and the voice device; the button and the charging interface are respectively arranged on the control box and penetrate through the shell assembly; the functional box also includes a heart rate monitoring device; and the functional box further includes a camera.
COMPUTER CONTROLLED STRESS AND STRAIN GAUGE SENSOR
The embodiments disclose a stress and strain gauge including at least one stress and strain sensor module configured to sense stresses and strains being applied by an animal biting a rope extending from a protective hand guard, a stress and strain gauge indicator coupled to the at least one stress and strain sensor configured for measuring the sensed stresses and strains as strain levels, a processor coupled to the stress and strain gauge indicator configured to dynamically analyze and compare the strain levels to predetermined threshold strain level measurements to determine a current animal play level that varies incrementally, and an alert module wirelessly coupled to the processor configured to notify a user of the protective hand guard in real-time of the current incremental animal play level.
ANIMAL TRAINING DEVICE THAT CONTROLS STIMULUS USING PROPORTIONAL PRESSURE-BASED INPUT
A system for training animals includes a hand-held device and a remote device, where the remote device applies a stimulus when a user presses a button or trigger on the hand-held device. The amount of pressure applied is measured by a pressure sensitive transducer and transformed into proportional transducer signals. These transducer signals are transmitted to the remote device, which then applies a stimulus to an animal being trained. The amplitude of the applied stimulus corresponds to the amplitude of the transducer signals; a trainer can thus precisely control the intensity of the stimulus by applying and relieving pressure on the button. The type of stimulus applied is controlled based on the position of a rotary switch on the hand-held device. Sensor data generated by specialized sensors in the remote device may be transmitted to the hand-held device to provide the user with sensory feedback.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR REMOTE MONITORING, CARE AND MAINTENANCE OF AN ANIMAL
A system for the remote care of an item of vegetation used as a potential source of food for an animal, to include at least one of a proximity tag, RFID tag, transponder device, a predetermined machine-readable pattern, and geo-location device associated with the item of vegetation, and an aerial drone. The aerial drone includes a microprocessor, a sensor coupled to the microprocessor and configured to detect the at least one of the proximity tag, RFID tag, transponder device, predetermined machine-readable pattern, and the geo-location device, and a carrier configured to carry a substance comprising at least one of a solid, gas, and liquid. The aerial drone is configured to act in response to instructions issued by the microprocessor.
WEARABLE APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR ANIMAL TRAINING
A wearable animal training apparatus may include a casing having an inner wall, and an outer wall. The apparatus may include a flexible first wire disposed against a proximal surface between the inner wall and the outer wall of the casing, and a flexible second wire disposed against a distal surface between the inner wall and the outer wall of the casing. The apparatus may also include a power source having a positive terminal and a negative terminal, and an electric motor. The first wire may be connected to the positive terminal of the power source, and the second wire may be connected to the negative terminal of the power source.
Internet canine communication device and method
Enhanced methods and systems for human-pet communication are described. Example embodiments provide an Internet Canine Communication System (“ICCS”). The ICCS facilitates remote communication and interaction with between a dog and its owner, caretaker, trainer, family member, or the like. The ICCS may include a base station or similar device that is configured to deliver treats to a dog and to transmit audio/visual communication between the dog and a remote client device operated by a human user. The ICCS may also facilitate training the dog to utilize the ICCS to communicate with the user, such as by answering calls from or initiating calls to the remote client device of the user.
