Internet canine communication device and method
Enhanced methods and systems for human-pet communication are described. Example embodiments provide an Internet Canine Communication System (“ICCS”). The ICCS facilitates remote communication and interaction with between a dog and its owner, caretaker, trainer, family member, or the like. The ICCS may include a base station or similar device that is configured to deliver treats to a dog and to transmit audio/visual communication between the dog and a remote client device operated by a human user. The ICCS may also facilitate training the dog to utilize the ICCS to communicate with the user, such as by answering calls from or initiating calls to the remote client device of the user.
REMOTELY PROGRAMMABLE ELECTRONIC DOG BARK ACTIVATED LAWN SPRINKLER SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DISPERSING URINE LOCATIONS AND SIMULTANEOUSLY DILUTING CONCENTRATED AREAS OF DOG URINE ON A LAWN
A multi-purpose system is disclosed which utilizes a lawn sprinkler in the shape of a fire hydrant to provide a stimulus to a dog. A remotely programmable portable water sprinkler is provided, which can be programmed to run for a period of time for normal watering of a lawn, and it can be programmed to trigger and spray when a series of dog barks are detected. This spraying of water is intended to be a stimulus to the dog.
Systems and methods for walking pets
A method of using an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) to guide a target includes receiving a location signal from one or more sensors of the UAV, receiving an input signal from a user device for guiding the target that defines at least one of a travel route, a permissible region, or an impermissible region, comparing the location signal to the input signal to determine whether the target is deviating from the travel route, exiting the permissible region, or entering the impermissible region, and initiating, via the UAV or an attachment mechanism coupled between the UAV and the target, a deterrent mechanism in response to determining that the target is deviating from the travel route, exiting the permissible region, or entering the impermissible region.
System for repelling a pet from a predetermined area
A system for repelling a pet from at least one predetermined area includes a first device adapted for positioning at the predetermined area. The first device includes at least one of a first receiver and a first transmitter. A second device is adapted for placement on the pet. The second device includes at least one of a second receiver and a second transmitter. At least one of the first device and the second device is configured to warn the pet when the second device approaches the at least one predetermined area, and thereby train the pet to stay away from the predetermined area.
WEARABLE CANINE AND FELINE COLLARE WITH CAMERA AND ADDED FEATURES
A multifunction animal collar. The collar including a plurality of electronic components for collecting and transmitting audio and visual information to and from a remote user in real time. The plurality of electronic components including a satellite communication chip, a GPS chip, a camera, a thermographic camera, infrared camera, a microphone, a speaker, and a light. The satellite communication chip capable of transmitting and receiving viewed images and sounds to a remote user for viewing on an external electronic device and back to the animal in real time.
VEHICLE AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
A vehicle of outputting a sound using a difference between a human's audible frequency and a pet's audible frequency, and a method of controlling the vehicle are provided. The vehicle includes a sound processor that is configured to tune and mix a sound and a sound controller that is configured to determine a sound being output as one of a first sound having a frequency within a human's audible frequency range and a second sound having a frequency beyond the human's audible frequency range. When a command for reproducing another sound other than the determined sound is received, the sound processor is configured to mix the determined sound with the other sound corresponding to the command and a speaker is then configured to output the mixed sound.
Mobile telephone dog training tool and method
A mobile telephone adapts to use as a gundog training tool by interfacing with a dog collar using a wireless communication device, such as a WWAN text or IP interface, a WLAN interface or a radio transceiver that couples to the mobile telephone and is accessible to a training application running on the mobile telephone. The dog collar includes a GPS receiver to provide position information to the mobile telephone and a shock device to provide training stimulus to the dog. A wireless headset interfaces with the mobile telephone to provide audible indications of position to an end user, such as a dog point and tone indicators of directions to the dog. A wireless handset interfaces with the mobile telephone to accept inputs for application to the collar, such as training stimulus.
AVATAR-ENFORCED SPATIAL BOUNDARY CONDITION
A method, apparatus, and computer product for: determining that the location of a user satisfies at least one spatial boundary condition; and in response to said determination, causing the presentation of an avatar to the user, wherein the presentation of the avatar comprises presenting an instruction given by the avatar to the user.
Wearable apparatus and method for animal training
A wearable animal training apparatus including a casing having an inner wall, and an outer wall. The apparatus includes a flexible first wire disposed against a proximal surface between the inner wall and the outer wall of the casing, and a flexible second wire disposed against a distal surface between the inner wall and the outer wall of the casing. The apparatus also includes a power source having a positive terminal and a negative terminal, and an electric motor. The first wire is connected to the positive terminal of the power source, and the second wire is connected to the negative terminal of the power source.
Wireless location assisted zone guidance system incorporating shepherding of wayward dogs
An assisted guidance region has a plurality of zones, each with an associated set of characteristics used to provide behavioral guidance to an animal. Behavioral guidance is extended to a wayward dog who has moved outside of the assisted guidance region by providing stimuli to shepherd the dog back into a safe zone. Positive stimuli are provided when the dog is moving in a direction back towards the safe zone, by providing a safe zone or similar stimulus. Movement away from the safe zone will trigger the unit to deliver a non-aversive second alert zone stimulus. Movement that isn't getting closer or further away triggers a first alert zone stimulus. Calculation of relative movement direction with regard to the safe zone is preferably based upon a comparison of sequential data table position displacements from an approximate center of the safe zone or from a manually selected location.
