Guidance vehicle

A guidance vehicle guides a dog for a walk, and includes a leash attachment, a distance sensor, and an electronic control unit. The leash attachment is configured to attach a leash that connects the dog. The distance sensor is configured to detect a dog-to-vehicle distance being a distance between the dog and the guidance vehicle. The electronic control unit is configured to execute a travel control of the guidance vehicle. The electronic control unit includes, as one of modes of the travel control, a walk guidance mode that causes the guidance vehicle to automatically travel along a walk route while guiding the dog to walk. The walk guidance mode executed by the electronic control unit includes a basic walk mode that controls the dog-to-vehicle distance so as to maintain a constant distance when the dog is moving along the walk route.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR NON-INVASIVE ANIMAL HEALTH SENSING AND ANALYSIS
20230240533 · 2023-08-03 ·

A system that includes at least one processor and a non-transitory, tangible memory device having programming instructions. When the instructions are executed by the at least one processor, the at least one processor receives from a set of sensors at least one biological parameter of an animal in a walk-in analysis zone to create real-time biological. The at least one processor analyzes the real-time biological data from the walk-in analysis zone and recommends animal feed nutrients based on the analyzed real-time biological data. The at least one processor communicates the recommended animal feed nutrients to at least one of: a mobile communication device; and a display device in proximity to the walk-in analysis zone.

Pet spray training system

An animal behavior modification device is provided. The device includes a sound, vibration or motion sensor that is configured to generate electrical signals in response to an occurrence. The device may include a filter, which is tuned to recognize a dog barking event, and generate an electrical signal in response to recognizing an input signal indicative of a dog's bark. The device further includes a canister that holds a deterrent fluid under pressure. The device additionally comprises a motor module configured to rotate a shaft in response to the electrical signal from the filter. The canister has a spray nozzle for releasing fluid that affects the dog's senses. In response to rotating the shaft, the spray nozzle is depressed. A method of modifying the behavior of an animal using the device is also provided herein.

Animal training method, apparatus, and system for achieving heeling behavior

An animal training system used to train an animal includes a movement controlling device and a wearable device. The movement controlling device includes a first segment and a second segment. The first segment is coupled to a first connecting member. The second segment is coupled to a second connecting member. The wearable device includes a first attachment point and a second attachment point. The first attachment point is located at a midline position of the wearable device. The first segment is configured to detachably couple to the first attachment point via the first connecting member. The second segment is configured to detachably couple to the second attachment point via the second connecting member.

AUTOMATIC DETECTION OF TREAT RELEASE AND JAMMING WITH CONDITIONAL ACTIVATION OF ANTI-JAMMING IN AN AUTONOMOUS PET INTERACTION DEVICE

Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for detecting an operational state of an autonomous pet interaction device, including: commanding a treat dispenser to dispense a treat from the autonomous pet interaction device; capturing image data using an image sensor of the autonomous pet interaction device; and determining, based on the image data, whether or not the treat was dispensed from the treat dispenser.

METHOD FOR ACCLIMATING A DOG TO AUTONOMOUS TRAINING SESSIONS WITH A TRAINING APPARATUS

One variation of a method for acclimating a dog to autonomous training with a training apparatus, includes: accessing a video feed of a working field; dispensing a first set of treats into the working field at a first frequency and outputting an audible reinforcer at a first volume level; estimating a first acclimation score representative of acclimation to dispensation of the first set of treats; in response to the first acclimation score exceeding a threshold acclimation, dispensing a second set of treats at a second frequency less than the first frequency and outputting the audible reinforcer at a second volume greater than the first volume; estimating a second acclimation score responsive to the second set of treats; in response to the second acclimation score exceeding the threshold acclimation, the second frequency falling below a threshold frequency, and the second volume exceeding a threshold volume, verifying acclimation of the dog.

PET TRAINING ROBOT WITH IMPROVED OBJECT DISCHARGING FUNCTION
20210352872 · 2021-11-18 ·

Provided is a pet training robot with an improved object discharging function including an object box including an elastic member; first driving means configured to rotate the object box; a base disposed spaced from the object box and including a discharge hole connected to an external space; and control means configured to control the first driving means such that when the object box rotates by the first driving means, the elastic member is in contact with an inner surface of the base and bends to generate an elastic force, when the object box rotates to a vicinity of the discharge hole, an object stored in the object box is discharged, the bent elastic member is unbent to a space of the discharge hole to release the elastic force, and the discharged object is pushed into the discharge hole.

Scent-based training system

The present disclosure is directed to systems and methods for training animals using a wirelessly activated scent-based training system. The scent-based training system includes a reward dispenser that holds a reward. The scent-based training system also includes a scent chamber physically couplable to a target scent reservoir. Target scent molecules flow from the scent reservoir to the interior space of the scent chamber where they may be detected by the animal at which time a reward may be dispensed. The reward passes through the scent chamber prior to being provided to the animal. The reward “pushes” air through the scent chamber prior to passage through the chamber, increasing the concentration of target scent molecules proximate the scent chamber. After passage through the scent chamber a venturi effect created by the reward causes additional target scent molecules to flow from the target scent reservoir to the scent chamber.

RE049696 · 2023-10-17 ·

Enhanced methods and systems for human-pet communication are described. Example embodiments provide an Internet Canine Communication System (“ICCS”). The ICCS facilitates remote communication and interaction with between a dog and its owner, caretaker, trainer, family member, or the like. The ICCS may include a base station or similar device that is configured to deliver treats to a dog and to transmit audio/visual communication between the dog and a remote client device operated by a human user. The ICCS may also facilitate training the dog to utilize the ICCS to communicate with the user, such as by answering calls from or initiating calls to the remote client device of the user.
