The pet toy comprises a body having a chamber that may hold attractants. A plurality of openings in the body enables the aroma of an attractant to escape. One end of the body includes a projection that frictionally engages one end of an extension in the form of an elongate spring. The opposite end of the elongate spring connects to a base. The base has a plurality of prongs that extend substantially perpendicular to the base. Each prong has a stem and an arm extending substantially perpendicular to the stem. The pet toy is mounted to a surface having gaps between layers of material, such as cardboard. ANIMAL INTERACTION DEVICE, SYSTEM AND METHOD

An animal interaction device with a base, a housing, and a feeding mechanism having a rotatable platform mounted on the top surface of the base to rotate about an axis of rotation. There is a low profile drive cavity between the platform and the base and a food tray disposed on a top surface of the platform. A drive mechanism is located within the drive cavity and includes a drive mechanism with a curved rack gear engaged with the rotatable platform. There is a horizontally disposed worm drive mounted in communication with the curved rack gear to enable rotation of the rotatable platform about the axis of rotation.
